Seated in Heaven, Walking on Earth | The Missing Piece

In this solo teaching, John Humenik shares his prophetic‑apostolic calling, describing how believers are seated in heavenly places while living on earth. He explains that this dual position lets Christians experience both realms simultaneously, and he uses the Lord’s Prayer as a framework for aligning personal and societal life with God’s will. Through analogies such as a dog on a long leash, valves and rivers, and layers of an onion, he illustrates the tension between heaven’s perfection and earth’s imperfection and how prayer serves to realign misaligned areas. He emphasizes kingdom culture practices—loving and forgiving enemies, praying for leaders, and seeking transformation in every sphere—so that blessing, favor, and revival can flow. The message concludes with a practical call to examine one’s life, identify misalignments, and actively pray for realignment, positioning the believer as a king‑like ambassador of Christ on earth.

Hi, my name is John Humenik. Welcome back to the channel. If you're new here, please subscribe. Also, share this video with a friend because it will help you understand and break out of a season of lack that's in your life. This revelation came out of a deep time of prayer as I tried to reconcile and understand my current situation. With that as a backdrop, one of the things that I have been called to in the ministry is to be a prophet to the nations. I know the Lord has anointed me for this and is walking me into this Over the last couple of years. He also anointed me to be apostle to the nations, particularly through the work that I'm doing with the Inner Circle and beyond. Because of this calling, one of the things I did not realize until very recently is that when you are given that kind of authority, you begin to feel God's heart in those spaces. You get to start and experience, even within your own body, the emotions and the expressions God has for his people and for the world. This happens because you are operating from a higher level. In this way, your spirit is in Christ. Seated in heavenly places while your physical body's here on earth. The soul becomes the tether between the two. Of course, the Holy Spirit is present in all of this as well. As part of this journey, what happens is you get to experience both realms, heaven and earth, simultaneously. The easiest way I can describe this is through God's will, which is expressed clearly in the Lord's Prayer. God desires to manifest his kingdom on earth. And if you unpack the Lord's Prayer, it says, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. And then we often add, for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. What you begin to understand is when you unpack this prayer, it's that it first establishes Your identity. You give glory and honor to the Father. Then it's his will is meant to be manifested on the earth. As a triune being seated in heavenly places yet walking on earth, you function as both ambassador and son or daughter, servant and king, priest and prophet. You operate from all these roles simultaneously. The easiest way I can describe this tension is like a dog on a long Leash. The world wants to wander on its own, pulling further and further away. As your body feels the strain as the dog runs off, you can see it heading towards trouble, sniffing around bushes, chasing another dog or a cat or even some other animal. Eventually, you must reel it back in. This is something I did not initially recognize as a part of kingdom culture. It's the atmospheres you encounter when walking from a heavenly realm. Your body and your soul experience and become aware that the dog is pulling the leash farther and farther away. In this analogy, the dog represents the world. Christians like yourself are called to realign the world with God's will. That's what thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven truly means. When you feel the tension of things not going right in the world, when finances are not flowing, when something that should have been blessed did not happen, it's because Some things misaligned. God wants you as the son or daughter of the King to realign those things back into kingdom purpose, his perfect will, his way, so that everything returns to the proper alignment. As a triune being functionally seated in 2 places, you're experiencing both perfection and imperfection simultaneously. The friction between the 2 becomes our prayer language. It's the understanding that God's King, that he's sovereign, that his word can Never return void. When you saturate the world with his word, it realigns creation back into kingdom purpose across the board. This is why you're called to pray and love your enemies. In this world's systems, everything is interconnected. What affects them can ultimately affect you. God's love must permeate every single part of society. It's because if it doesn't, things are going to start to fall short. This is why scripture says that the rain falls on both the righteous and the unrighteous. It's crucial to understand. This is why it's so important to pray for your enemies, to love your enemies, to love them as yourself, and to love brothers and sisters and all people. This is kingdom culture. That's what kingdom purpose is. That's God's love. That's the good news. That's the gospel. As God continues to love and expand and grow and reach all people in ways they may not even understand it, it causes them to begin searching for Christ because he's the one who answers those questions. When you pray from an ascended position, that perspective, you begin to see how things must be realigned. It's like a system of circles that must be aligned, or layers of an onion that must be brought back into the order so that the picture is made whole again. What you're doing in prayer is realigning the misaligned parts of the world back into the way God needs them to be so that blessing can flow uninhibited, grace can move, mercy can also follow, finances flow. Favor flows. It's something that becomes stockpiled over here and then must be redirected, a valve that must be opened so that water can move again. That's why God says he will do a new thing. The world is constantly moving, and God introduces something new back to bring it back into alignment. It gives him glory to do something like this amazingly over and over again. That's why scripture speaks of rivers in a desert, pathways in the wilderness. A forest grew where a path should have been. And God said his word can't be stopped, so he's going to create a new pathway right through the forest, right through the trees, even taking out the boulders in the way. That's the essence of the Bible. That's the essence of what Christ did. He died for our sins that we would have a clear path back to the Father. He recreated the path that was overgrown by sin, human pride, and the pursuit of things that weren't of heaven. He paved them on streets of gold back to the Father with his own blood. That's what we're asking you to do today. Go into prayer to see the misalignments in your life, to see the areas of your life that aren't aligned within yourself. Recognize the things that are being received incorrectly. Realign everything back to God's heart. As you do this, pray for the people around you, your community, your leaders. Ask for forgiveness. Do everything God places on your heart in that moment and watch the world to be forced back into God's will because nothing can stop God's will. And when that happens, his kingdom is going to start to flow. His goodness is going to start to move. Salvation happens, revival breaks out, and the kingdom of God is established on earth. If you unpack the Lord's Prayer even further, you'll see the things that can block you: unforgiveness, temptation, and more. And when you view these things from an ascended place, you understand that they're beneath you and they no longer have power over you. You can operate as a King seated on Christ's heavenly throne, exactly as God ultimately commanded you to do. I hope and pray that this message helps you understand a deeper understanding of how you're supposed to walk out this Christian life. Again, anytime you feel like there's something going on that doesn't make sense, there must be an aspect that is God calling for transformation, either within you or within the world. Take that moment and take it to God and understand that element that he wants you to fix, whether it's within or without, and then be able to, be able to move God's will and align all the things back together so that everything can continue to move forward. It's no different than making a highway straight, leveling a mountain, and filling a valley. It's all the same concepts. So again, when you're starting to experiencing something that doesn't make sense, stop and pray and seek God's face and see what Christ wants you to do on the earth so that his word His name, his gospel gets preached to all the world. God bless.
