Hi, I'm John Humenik. Welcome back to the channel. I'm so excited you're here because today we're going to talk about how to build a kingdom business totally from scratch. If you're an entrepreneur or have that spirit of the entrepreneur where you have that creativity, that vision, but you've struggled to make things a reality, this video is for you. And this is going to help you set you free to be able to step into all the things that God wants for you in this world and into the next. This also applies for those people who are currently working at a job who wants to break free of their nine to five to be able to accomplish the things that God has set in their heart, but have not yet taken the steps or may have tried and failed so that you can become successful. It's key. So we're going to go ahead and tackle a couple core concepts that will allow you to take the first tangible steps forward in order to victory. So I want to talk about a couple scriptures first to set the stage on how God operates kingdom business so that you can have. the right mindset in order to get started first. The most important thing that I want to encourage you today is that God's timing is perfect. Now, what you have to understand is, is the world systems talk about setting goals and putting things in timeframes and boxes, whether that's investments or things that are of opportunity, where they're saying things that it has to be done at a certain time or you'll miss that opportunity. That's not how the kingdom of God works. God works in his own time, which in fact is timeless, and he does things He's a God of honor, he's a God of respect, and he is a God of excellence. So when you start to embark on your kingdom business, the most important thing is to receive from God the things that God has for you in the time God has them. Don't try to push in your flesh things forward too fast, and don't sit on the things that God has given you in order to just procrastinate and put them off for a future date. It's so easy for us as humans to want to rush things forward. Want things to get done faster, whether that is to make more money because we have bills to pay or debts to take care of, or maybe some deadline that we put in place, whatever that may be. Or you may be in a situation where you've got this great idea, but you've been sitting on it for decades. I know people that have been sitting on great visionary ideas for 50, 60 years and that they haven't moved forward. But God is a patient God and wants you to move forward. So the most important thing is when you have an idea from the Lord, make sure it's a God idea. Don't, don't do things because it's something that you want to do. Although admittedly, God does put in the things that he wants to accomplish for his kingdom that will match your interests. So again, a line that potentially could be blurred, but move forward in faith. If you're not sure, take the time to pray over it and then take that first, first faith-filled step forward. Now, the thing is, is that because it comes on God's timing, what I'm about to tell you is going to sound crazy and difficult to understand, but I want you to receive it because it's true. And when you recognize the truth, that you'll start to see that there's a lot of scripture behind it. And you can become victorious from day one. If you try to press your business forward, what will happen is, is you will get caught in 2 situations that you could be in, either both at the same time or one individually. One, you will either work yourself in excess to a point of lack of peace as you move things forward, or you will try to borrow or invest your way into your business to a point where you will lose control of your organization in time where you won't be able to steward it going forward. Whenever you're trying to accelerate something ahead of God, one of two things continually happen across all businesses that I've seen is, is that either you do accomplish it, but you burn yourself out in the process because you become the source of your success and not trusting God to do that. Or you try to borrow money, get investors. Again, not saying investors are wrong, but you try to borrow your money and accelerate things to a point where you lose control later. Your business becomes someone else's treasure that you toiled for. That you no longer have access to or control over, and then they get it in the end. So whenever you start to steward things going forward, you have to recognize the most important thing that you want to accomplish has to happen on God's time. Meaning if you're in a situation where you're financially in straits, you're in debt, or you're struggling, or you're behind your bills, there— this may be the season where God sheds you of a bunch of things in order to uplift you. You'll hear people talk about this a lot, where you'll see where God wants you to sell your possessions in order to kickstart your business, or to get rid of things in order to move forward. And while that's somewhat biblically accurate, it's not exactly true, because what God is trying to do is set you free from the love of money, which is the root of all evil. It's not money that's the root of all evil, but the love of money. And that once your heart is oriented to understand that money is a seed— it's not a tool, but it's a seed in which you can consume in order to generate more money— and then you use that in order to move God's purpose forward. That's when you can start to move in kingdom purposes. It's very important to understand this because as you advance, it's all God's timing. No matter how difficult it looks financially, God promises that if you're pursuing his kingdom and his righteousness, that all of these things get added unto you so that your food, your housing, the clothing, all of those things get taken care of by God because you're pursuing the king's purpose. And when you're in a king's army, the army provides all those things. No different than if you went into the military and you go into the military, what do they do? They put you in a barracks. So they feed you, they clothe you, and they house you. It's the exact same concept. And so you have to recognize that when you're pursuing God's kingdom, King's dominion, and his righteousness, which means living out a holy life and operating in his overflow, these other things are going to come automatically. But it comes on his time. So don't rush it. If you are currently in a 9 to 5 and you're able to pay bills, then what God will more likely do is ask you to put the extra time into this business to grow it, to establish it, to put it in place, to build The systems that will allow it to scale with you or without you and to allow you to build a business debt-free. This is the most important thing, is there are going to be opportunities for you to look for investors to accelerate what you're looking to do. But that's done from a place of victory and a place of rest, not from a place of striving to accomplish or even build something, because God wants you to establish that foundation first before he's going to step you forward. And he wants your character to be right in order for you to be able to steward the things he has for you. A lot of business owners strive for some kind of success. They overspend, they don't plan properly, and then they get themselves in trouble because they've overextended themselves too fast. Or they do the exact opposite and have not moved at the pace God wants them to. So they do miss opportunity because there were blessings that were open to them, but they weren't in the right position to receive them. So therefore, that blessing went to someone else. You do have to walk that line. It's not a fine line, but you do have to walk that line between both of them where You're moving obediently day by day on the things God wants so that you can arrive to the destinations. It's more than one destinations where God's going to bless you. And eventually your faith-filled steps over time will set you up to a place where the business will be able to afford you and you can move into it full-time. Now, the timing of that could be as quickly as one week or a couple years, but either way, God's going to move you forward. In fact, I've never really seen anyone move into a business that's taken more than like 12 months or even 24 months. Usually God will steward you moving forward to be able to fund yourself as that first employee to be able to move things forward in victory. And when he does that, this is key because this is step number 2. He wants you to be a blessing to bless others. This is extremely important, especially for those people who love blessing others, or someone who may be truly, in a sense, humble at heart where they want to help others. You can't help others if God isn't helping you first. What will happen is, is if you get to a point where you are so humble, and this is really a state that even I struggled with at certain points in time, what will happen is, is you'll want to bless others because you have maybe a job or something else that's going on that's helping you move forward. But God's going to want you to be the pinnacle and the tip of the spear in your organization. That's how it works. You're the brand. You're the representative. You're the image that God brings forth that rises up and moves forward. And if you don't believe me, go ahead and look at what God talks about that. When Jesus came out of the wilderness, what happens is the Holy Spirit made Jesus famous to the people as he moved forward so that the people could follow him. But he'd done it through a right heart. God, Jesus didn't need the glory of men in order to be received. He was about his Father's business the entire time. And that's how you have to operate. He is going to level you up. He is going to lift you up. He is going to make your name known. But what will happen is, is your name will be known with the kingdom purpose. They will see you and see God instead. Amen. That's what it means. And so it's not you that he's lifting up, it's he's lifting up himself through you. But he has to do that through you because, and with you, because we are dominion, we overrule as rulers in this world, in this realm. He has to do it with us and through us. So it's very important to recognize that once you go ahead and get oriented financially and you've built this financial model that's successful, whatever that may be, then what'll happen is, is God's going to bless you abundantly. He needs you to overflow because once you start to overflow, That same character overflows into others. That work ethic flows into others. That approach to planning and execution will flow into others. You don't have to force any of those things into your coworkers or your employees or even your co-founders. That will naturally happen, and God will show you areas that you have to adjust them and guide them and correct them as necessary. But in the end, God's going to continue to bless you and overflow so that you can continue to grow the business in the way that you need to grow, meaning. that there's probably a really good chance that you may have to be the company's first salesperson. It's highly unlikely that if you've got a vision in your life that you will have someone else sell your vision. That's unlikely. Not saying that's not the case, but it's unlikely. You're probably gonna be the one that's going to be pitching the vision, communicating it, aligning people around it, and then executing it. When you understand how scripture works and you study Genesis chapter 1 or Genesis chapter 11, you'll see these 4 realms of success that we talk about a lot, which is there's a vision he instills in the hearts of a person. Man or a woman. He then has that person communicate it, okay, which is key because that's actually attached to sales and marketing. And then he— that individual gets a group of people, which today we call like a mastermind or like a think tank, or there's so many different terms for it. They come together and say, I like this idea. They unify behind it and then they go execute it. And so that's a key point to understand is, is that's going to happen first. Then God is then going to bless you to establish the business further and further. Financially so that you can start bringing on other people, whether it's other founders or other employees, to be able to establish the business. Now, step number 3 is really critical because at the end, it's still God's business. And that's the key to understand is you have to steward the business with godly principles in order for it to be success. Number 1, Jesus is your source. You can't chase other income sources or other things or chase sales for the sake of chasing sales. You have to be obedient to the call that's on your life in order to walk forward. If your understanding is you're If you're saying, well, let's be very specific. All you have to do in this entire walk with the kingdom, and this is so key, if you grasp this, everything else will actually become easy. All you have to do is sit in your prayer closet and journal what God tells you to do for the day, and then check with him at night. So it's a 2-time-a-day, in the morning and at night, and walk out the very things he wants you to do in the day he wants you to do it. If you accomplish that, believe it or not, you will become the biggest success in your mind and in your world across as possible. You will become so successful over time. It'll blow you away because all you have to do is steward the thing that's in front of you for the day. God does the rest. In fact, when you recognize this other point is the things that you're stewarding may not necessarily be directly related to income within the business, then you're going to understand and unlock a greater level of revelation that God is the one who does it. That's the key thing next to recognize is that as you're stewarding your team, as you're stewarding yourself and your finances, and you're waiting on God and being obedient to the things in front of you, you'll recognize— over and over again that while you're working over here, God's working over here. And in fact, when God's over here, it's his responsibility to bring you those other things because you've been obedient to walk things out. It's a combination. This is where you'll see different things talking about the prosperity gospel and even the poverty gospel, where they— what they do is they push those concepts to the extremes. But God wants you to be in the middle. He wants you to be obedient for the time that you're obedient so that he can meet you at the point of blessing. It's very easy to see this when you understand the first time in the history of Scripture that talks about Jehovah Jireh. So what you have is very simple. This is extremely simple concept. God told Abraham to take his son to Mount Moriah and sacrifice him. So Abraham gets up that next day, takes some servants along with his son, and what they do is they leave. He doesn't tell Sarah about this; he just goes and does it. And then he goes to Mount Moriah. It's a three-day journey, and on the top of the mountain he goes to sacrifice Isaac. But then the angel of the Lord inter You know, intercedes, stops Abraham from doing it, and then Abraham sacrifices the ram instead. So when you correlate that story to your life, it unlocks everything because Abraham had nothing to do with the ram. He had almost next to nothing to do ultimately with the final sacrifice. All God wanted him to do was walk obediently to the top of the mountain to show that Abraham loved God more than he loved his son Isaac. And then when he— that moment occurred, God interceded and then blessed him with this financial blessing, which is a ram, to be able to have that sacrifice instead. But what God was saying was, is that it wasn't Abraham's son that would die on the top of the mountain, but it was Jesus Christ that would do thousands of years later. And in fact, believe it or not, it's the same mountain, which is pretty incredible. So when you start to understand the scriptures and you start to play things out as a kingdom business owner, you have to stay within the biblical principles. The things that got you forward to step 1, to step 2, to step 3 are the Stay in your prayer closet. Be obedient to the things that are in front of you. Let God usher you forward into the places. He will meet you along the way with the provision to scale. And if you continue to do this, what will happen is over time, whether that's months, years, and decades, he will accelerate you to a level that will be incredible because he will develop your character along the way in order to manage and steward both the people and the things he's given you. And trust me when I say this, is that there will be a time when you're going to be able to do more than you can handle. Aspects where God will not be waiting on you, but he'll be waiting on others, whether that's your customers or employees. So continue to foster the things God wants you in your heart to move forward. If you take that application and that instruction, you can apply it to any business that you're in, whether you're in a business now and you want to grow it, or if you have an idea and you haven't yet started, or you, you've basically started and you don't know how to keep going. If you just steward the word of the Lord every single day in obedience and his timing, he is going to meet you in that, then that place obedience. That's the essence of Jehovah Jireh. He will bless you because at that point it will— there would be no other way to explain it other than him. And then at that moment, you'll be able to move forward in victory. And that's how you can get a business started. That's how you can grow. You don't have to go and get bank loans. You don't have to get SBA loans. In fact, unless God guides you, you don't even need investors. He'll be your investor and he'll take care of everything that you need. He may have you partner with other people as a part of the process, but what he'll do is he'll do that so that you can bless others so that they And so it's key. It's like a waterfall. That's how you walk it out. So if you have any questions, go ahead, put them into the comments. Step it out in faith and watch God move in mighty power because his timing is always perfect. We don't know when things will happen, but we know that they always do. And so as long as you're about your Father's business day in and day out, you will see the miracle. You will see the breakthrough. Yeah, that's right. Breakthrough. In fact, you'll not only see it, but you'll see it continually. But it'll be on his timing, on his terms, in preparation for all the things that he has in store for you. Because everything you have for this season sets you up for the next season. Everything you needed for this season happened in a previous season. So that's the key thing to recognize: where you're at today is setting up tomorrow, but where you're at today, you already have everything you need. Hopefully this makes a lot of sense.
