The Birth of the Christ - A Christmas Salvation Message

John Humenik argues that Jesus' birth caps God's 6,000-year plan to save humanity. He emphasizes faith in Christ over works, cites Romans 10:9, and shares testimonies of miraculous healings. The sermon invites viewers to accept Christ and ends with a prayer for the doubting.

Hi, my name is John Humenik. Welcome back to the channel. We're going to go ahead and take a break from a lot of the Kingdom Business teachings that we've been focusing on in 2025 to talk about a Christmas story, something that I want to resonate with you and your family. This video is also going to be really powerful for someone you love that has not fully accepted Christ into their life, or maybe don't even know who he is. So I want to encourage you to share this with everyone that you possibly know so that you can benefit from the blessings that come with your friend, your brother, your sister, or even a parent who doesn't know Jesus Christ and could come to salvation. And this story is going to blow them away. So I want to talk about who Jesus Christ is. The thing that we see, especially even in our comments section, there's a group of people that truly love Jesus Christ. And you wonder if you don't know Jesus Christ who he is and why. But ultimately you start to see is there's this divide in this world. that people call, you know, the Father in heaven the sky daddy, and they ridicule Christianity as a whole, and they say he's not real and all these things. But I wanna talk about the testimony of the things that I have seen, that I have participated in, and I have known that definitively prove that he is real. And not only is he real, that he truly cares about you. He's the only one that truly loves you, and he's the one that has never abandoned you, even if you may not know him. And that's the essence of the Christmas story. So this story technically starts way back when, over 6,000 years ago. The world is not multiple billions years old. In fact, the world is only 6,000 years old based upon the fact that God created it mature. He created it with the systems already in place. And so therefore, when people go to date it, it's impossible for them to say it's younger because the fact that it said in order for something to come like this is either has to be created like this in a full mature state Or it took billions of years. But we know that it's impossible for something to come alive from something that's not. It's never happened. It's never been observed. And I want to explain a little bit about that later and how that works. This story starts 6,000 years ago because he knew you. This is the thing that's different about Christianity than all the other religions. All the other religions in the world preach and talk about a works based salvation. Even some of the Catholics still believe this, but it's not true. This is a religion which is truly a relationship with a God that loves you, who knew you before you were born, who knew you so intimately that he allowed history to progress the way it did in order for a time about 2,000 years ago for him to come and redeem and save the world. That's what he is, that's what he's done, and that's what he's doing today for you. He's protecting you, caring for you, and He's the one that gave you all the giftings that you have in order to do the work that you're doing, to experience the life you have. He's not the father of sickness. He's not the father of pain. He's the one that redeems you through all of these things. In fact, Jesus bore those very things from Isaiah 53 in his body— the curse, the sickness, the pain, the suffering— so that you don't have to. All the other religions out there talk about their leaders, their gods, Lowercase g, and put them in a place of a pedestal. You'll see a lot of religions like Hindu that make up gods from wood and monkeys and animals. There's a god for everything. You have Islam with Allah. You have even all the other variants of Christianity, like the Jehovah's Witnesses, that aren't Christianity, because what they do is they pull Jesus out of the picture and put someone in his place. The thing that makes Christianity unique In all of this is Jesus came for your sins. Of all of the gods that are out there in all the other religions, none of them took their took your place for the pain and suffering, the sin that was brought upon the world, the redemption to redeem you back to the Father. Only Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only one who then died and was resurrected, and we celebrate that on Resurrection Sunday. And some of you know is at Easter. The thing that separates Christmas as a part of the tradition in Christianity. Is that it is who he is. He's love. He cares for you. He knew you. The thing about it is that God wants the best for your life for all the time you're here on this earth because you're his son and her daughter. The thing that Jesus Christ did differently was, is he knew at that time, 6,000 years ago, that he knew the moment free will would come into, come into play, the moment someone had an opportunity to choose something other than God. At some point in time, someone would do that and then would fall into sin, and everyone from that point forward would be in disreputable peril and allow a situation where they can never be saved. Because you cannot save yourself once you've fallen away. You don't have that kind of power. Only the King of the universe can fix the irreparable pain, the irreparable sin that has fallen on your life, and redeem you forward. And so that's what Jesus did. He came in a form of a human. Now scholars and a lot of people argue the state of what he was, but what we know is very clear. He came in his full spirit, but with his glory and everything else given away. He came to redeem mankind through the flesh, never sinned, and he was God among men. This is what it talks about in scripture. He was Emmanuel. He was the one, the Prince of Peace, the God of Truth, the God of Love, the one who contends for us, who shed his own blood for an eternal atonement for sin. Because even— and when you understand this, is that even though you sin, in God's— God's eyes you're righteous. That doesn't mean you can keep on sinning, but Jesus fixed the relationship that was broken in Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and fixed it permanently. And all you have to do is accept him as Lord and Savior. See, this is the thing that's about Christmas that separates these other people, is there is no works. They talk about, well, Well, you have to be baptized. Well, you have to put the time in the church. You have to work out your faith in fear and trembling. That— let me show you your faith, but let me show you my faith with works. The thing is, is that when you understand how the Bible works, is, is that when it talks about salvation, it's very clear and it's stated over and over again. It's done by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, both in their heart and publicly talking about him as their Lord. This is Romans 10:9. And so I want to encourage you today, if you're in a state where you're struggling with your faith, you're struggling to understand who this Sky Daddy is, maybe you're in a situation where you're like, no, carbon-14 proves otherwise. Well, the big flaw with carbon-14 is the assumption that it was the static number and percentage throughout history. And we know before the flood that there's a high probability that it was different. And so therefore, every single thing that we use to measure the universe's age Every single thing we use to measure and understand physics always points back to the fact that the Bible was right, and we're still trying to figure it out in our own strength. It's over and over again. Psychology talks about the person you want to become; you have to believe the person first. You have to believe and envision that person. Well, God talked about that already because it says in the Bible, "You are who you speak." You know, a man believeth in their heart, and therefore they speak, and then whatever they speak comes to pass. And it is. We talk about this even in science, where the the id, the ego, and the superego are constantly wrestling with each other. But the one who believes, the one you feed, is the person you become. The Bible has been right for thousands of years, ever since Moses penned it after coming out of Egypt. He established a paradigm and a structure that the nation of Israel and then all Christians have followed. Jesus cares about you so much that he was able to come down from his throne, put on the robe of flesh, and die in your place as a propitiation of sin, because ultimately in order to reconcile humanity back to the Father, there had to be a sacrifice of death, of blood. There had to be a place because sin always leads to death. And so there had to be some sin that had to be able to be covered permanently and erased, washed white as snow. And that's what Jesus did. And it started 2,000 years ago in the manger, in when the Virgin Mary had baby Jesus powered by the Holy Spirit. And they came— Joseph was taking them to Bethlehem as a part of the census. And we have this this beautiful story of the Magi coming because they saw his star in the east, and they bring him these beautiful gifts. And then his journey continues when he comes out of Egypt and he grows into a man of God. And then he's led into the wilderness before his ministry even starts. He has the same situation as Genesis 3 where the devil comes to tempt him, and Jesus uses the word of God to combat the word of God that Satan was trying to twist on his behalf, which is kind of ironic because Jesus is called the word of God. But what you get Is this victorious person in the form of Jesus Christ, who is both God and man, who is not using his godly powers but rather being completely dependent on the Holy Spirit on his entire journey, dies 3 and a half years later, only again rise 3 days later by his own power, and then walks among men for 40 days, goes to heaven, is now seated at the right hand of the Father in the position of power interceding for you every single day. Even if you don't know Jesus right now, he's near to you as I am to this screen. That's how close he is. That's how he's loved you. He knew your talents. He knew your name. He knew who you were before you were born. He knew the sufferings that you're gonna go through, the pain, the heartache, the emotional state, the financial problems. He knew about them. But you're still here today. You're still moving forward. You still got breath in your lungs. You have purpose in all the things you're doing. God loves you. He's never abandoned you. He knows that you are suffering through things because he knew the suffering would occur. But yet the Bible says rejoice in suffering. As the Marines call it, embrace the suck. But your purpose comes through the pain. Because what happens is, is once God continues to blow into you and expand your tent and move you out and move you forward, what you understand is, is the discomfort that you're experiencing The suffering that you're going through, the ridicule that you have, God is there for you and he's going to guide you through it. And he's always victorious because remember, God exists outside of all this creation. You know, people try to quantify today calling it a matrix or some kind of structure or computer program. And the reality is, is by the truth of the matter is, is reality is not that very much different. That's their way of reconciling it. But God exists as the master programmer, the master architect, the master project planner that exists outside of all of this reality and is guiding you. He has the power to literally transform reality on your behalf, to move mountains, to heal you. I know people personally who have been healed from ADHD. No, I've never met a single person in my entire life that said they know someone healed from ADHD. I've heard people talk about heart disease. I've seen cancer fall off people. We had a pastor at our church this year that God smashed cancer off his life. There was a doctor that I knew that had stage 4 cancer. God smashed that too. I'm seeing it happen all the time. I'm seeing miracles that no one has ever seen. I'm seeing the things that are impossible to reconcile through medical science. The things that a lot of people say that the sky daddy, the Father, he is— he's not real. No, the Father is real. And don't disrespect him by calling him the sky daddy. He is a Father. He is a person who cares for you, who intimately loves you, that is who sent his only and beloved Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. That's who the Father is. The Son came down from glory, endured separation from the Father, and then went to heaven so you could have the Holy Spirit in your life. The powerful— the most powerful person on this planet is the Holy Spirit. Lives inside Christians, lives— can live inside of you. And that's the thing, is the pain that you're suffering can be erased. This struggle that you've had, the, the abuse that you endured, the addiction that you struggle through— God can carry through it. He knew that you would manage your way through that by his power, by his grace, because those moments become testimonies for him and his glory forward. That's the thing about it, is many people understand, well, why do we have to suffer? Why do we have to have all this pain? Because we live in a fallen world where humanity chose to break it. And now God has been in the business for 6,000 years in redeeming it. And that's what he's been doing. And he'll redeem everything. Every single state that you think is lost to the enemy, God's going to redeem it. Every single person you think that's lost, God can redeem them. The power of Jesus Christ transcends time and space because he is eternal. He exists outside of time and space. He already knows the things are going to happen a billion years from now, and he knew the things that happened before you were born. And that's the essence of who God is, and that's the essence of what Christmas is about. It's the coming arrival of a king who decided to humble himself to become a servant among men, to serve them, to guide them, to be a light to a nation, and to show them how to walk out life victoriously so that at the end of this life you can say and hear, good and faithful servant, come into my rest. And you can bring the souls, because that's the only thing you can take into heaven. You can bring the souls that are— have accepted Jesus Christ through your testimony, through your love. That's the essence of Christmas. That's the essence of a relationship with Jesus Christ. That's the essence of the power of the Holy Spirit. Don't let the things of this world wear you down. You're greater than this world. The world is meant to serve you. When you understand, especially the stuff we teach on this channel, when you understand the power of the Holy Spirit is so great, everything has to bow to Jesus. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Everyone is going to have to confess that because that's the truth, and that's what it says in scripture, and we've seen it walk it out. And And the thing is, is for those people who are still struggling in understanding who Jesus Christ is, I want to encourage you today. Take the biblical principles that are in Proverbs. Take the biblical principles that are in Ecclesiastes or in Psalms and put them to the test. If you don't believe who God is, then put his word to the test. Watch his word prove it out. You will find in every single situation that you apply his word, you will find victory, and it will show without a doubt that the King of the universe is real, has been on your side your whole life and wants to have an eternal relationship just with you. And I want to contend for you, and I want to pray over you, but I want to encourage you today that Jesus loves you, that when he came on that Christmas day, which was probably in the summer about 2,000 years ago— let's, let's not be over-religious about the fact, or legalistic— but Jesus came, loved you, died for you, resurrected for you, and even today is contending for you. So go forth. So let me go ahead, let's bow our heads in prayer. So Heavenly Father, I pray for the son or daughter on the other side of the screen, the one person who may be doubting you, may not understand who you are, may not understand the purpose that they're here on this life, maybe have suffered a terrible life, who has dealt with back pain and heartache and neck pain and headaches, migraines and more. Father, I pray for healing over I pray that you put a touch of breath of fresh air in their lungs, a more kick in their step, and allow them to have your your perfect peace, a tranquility of mind and emotion, a power to rejoice you, a power to feel love and to walk out that love. Because in the Bible, first Corinthians thirteen is a verb. It's action-oriented. It's about kindness. It's about patience. It's about not envy and all those things. So Father, we pray for the person on the other side. We pray for their salvation. We pray that they receive. Jesus Christ in their heart, that all they have to do is believe in their heart that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and declare with their mouth that he is their Lord. That's it. Believe in their heart that Jesus Christ is alive today and to publicly declare that he is their Lord and that he can walk out victory. He is their King, and that the King's dominion, the kingdom, can come on earth. I pray this and bless the person on the other side of the screen. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
