In this brief devotional, the speaker highlights a perspective on Psalm 94 that is often omitted in formal Bible school teaching. The psalm is introduced as a plea for God, the Avenger, to demonstrate His power by judging the earth and confronting evildoers. The speaker outlines the psalm’s depiction of the enemies' wicked deeds and the looming doom they face, then shifts focus to God’s positive role: He brings love, joy, and peace to His people, serving as a fortress and rock for refuge. The central claim is that God alone will avenge and deliver justice for believers against their adversaries. The video concludes with an invitation to viewers to click for more Bible content.

Here's one thing your Bible school teacher didn't tell you about Psalm 94. Psalm 94 starts off by calling God the Avenger, imploring him to show his might to judge the earth by putting evil people in their place. So the psalm continues with evil acts of the enemies against God's people. He warns them of their pending doom. But what does God do? Stick around for that answer. The psalmist says that it was God that brought love, joy, and peace to his people. He's your fortress, a rock in which you can take refuge. God alone will avenge you and bring you justice against your enemies. If you like Bible content like this, click this video below.
