Trust in God

The speaker teaches that trusting God is essential for prophetic ministry. When you receive words about someone's hidden sin or struggles, you must deliver them with love and permission, not personal knowledge. Mistakes happen, but God's grace covers them, and repeated trust builds accuracy and anointing.

Hello everyone, I hope you're having an awesome day so far. We're in day 7 of our prophetic series, and here we're closing it out with just a simple statement: trust in God. And so this video will go over in the prophetic why it is so important to ultimately trust God during your walk, why there's grace in your process, and how he can take care of you. And so if you've been enjoying this series, Please subscribe to the channel and share this video with at least two people so that they can also grow in their anointing and share the gospel of Christ throughout the world. And so today, I want to extort the the folks that watch this video to just to encourage you in a strong way that as you're walking in the prophetic, it is really and ultimately around faith, and you do really have to trust God in your walk that whenever you're receiving. Words of knowledge, words of encouragement, things that you are going into deeper revelation and changing people's lives, then ultimately they are on the right path. I know it can be a difficult thing for people who haven't operated in the prophetic before to kind of start stepping out on faith. And what does that mean? Are people going to condemn me? Are people going to reject me? Are people going to look at me differently because now they know Stuff about me that I haven't told anyone. And I really want to make sure that you understand a couple core concepts here to kind of start this video. Is number one, when you're operating in the prophetic and you start to grow your faith, you are going to know things about people that honestly you wouldn't want to know. And that's just the honest-to-goodness truth. God's going to reveal to you their sin, the things they did good, the things they did bad, things where they want it, where God wants them to go, where things that they need to leave behind. The prophetic is a revolutionary concept because you are tearing the veil away from a person's life, personal, and making it known to at least yourself. Now, in many cases, all God is doing is asking you to pray that back to him because that stuff just stays between you and him, and that person never knows that you know those things. And that's perfectly fine, and that's great. God will operate that in a lot of ways, if not majority of the time. But what God will do is in those instances that he wants you to step out in faith, he's going to want you to trust him. Because think about it from this perspective. Let's give you an example that I think will resonate deeply. So let's say you're starting to walk in your prophetic anointing, and then you go and you're at church, and then you walk into your pastor. This is the senior pastor of your church, and you're shaking hands. with that person, and then all of a sudden God gives you a word and drops in your mind a deep, dark sin that that pastor is committing right now. What would you do? Well, at that point you're going to have to go and trust God, because why would God give that to you? You got to take that back to him in prayer and say, Lord, why did you give me this, this revelation about my pastor whom I have a high degree of respect for, and now you're showing me this sin That's staining the pastor's life. And so now you've gotta trust God, 'cause once— the first thing is, is the next time you talk to your pastor, you can't judge your pastor. You can't look at your pastor differently. You have to treat your pastor with love and respect so that— remember that they're a child of God, and God is exposing this to you for a reason. It may be for you to become an intercessor and help your pastor break that sin off their life so that it no longer inhibits their ministry for God. It may be as simple as that, but that would be a hard thing to stomach, especially if that sin was something that you would really consider bad. And obviously we recognize all sin is bad, but we know that there are varying degrees of sin overall. And so that's where you just have to trust God. Another example that could come across is that you may be given a word and And you may not know the person you're going to give that word to. It could happen at a grocery store. It could happen in your church. It could happen in your work. And you have to kind of work through how are they going to receive it. Yesterday we talked about making sure that the prophetic words come with permission so that they open their heart and they can receive it. But in this instance, you have to trust God in the delivery, that it comes with love and that it comes with an open mind so that they can receive it. Now, I will tell you that I have given prophetic words that God has just hammered. He's like, you have to say it, you have to say it, you have to say it. It has to come across this way. I wasn't comfortable. I said it. They didn't receive it, and it was really hard on them. But ultimately, God was like, that's what they needed to hear in the way they needed to hear it. And sometimes it's with love, sometimes it's with excitement, sometimes it was like maybe a really humble attitude, and you're just trying to just get it across in the most quiet way. Sometimes it comes across as a sledgehammer no matter how you do it, but that's— sometimes you may be breaking a rock in their heart and the sledgehammer is the only way to go. And while prophets are not going to operate in that manner all the time, and they should not be because you should never be in a situation where they're beating the sheep, but really what you should be doing is knowing that in this moment, as you're going through and you're handing them the word, it's going to come across in the way God wants you to in order for them to receive it. And so it's really important to trust God. God knows that ultimately that this is the delivery and this is how it's supposed to be said. Sometimes you have to prepare the email, you have to read over it and read over it, but eventually got to click send on that text or that email, or click pick up the phone and call them. And the other thing too that I want to really kind of extort those folks that are listening is you really have to ultimately know God's given or give you grace. And we know that we prophesy in part, and we know we only know in part, and we know sometimes we are human and we hear God incorrectly. And sometimes our delivery comes off tersely even though we did our best not to do that. And we, we may have done something that shouldn't have been done. Maybe we did— maybe we delivered the word without permission. Maybe we did it without submission to the local leadership. Ultimately, we have to understand that God knows your mistakes before you're going to make them, and that he has grace for you. You can repent, you can get better, and you can move on. God— remember, if God knows you're going to deliver it incorrectly and it's going to end up not being received the way it is, he's already going to have a plan to correct it so that you can— so you can move forward and learn from your mistakes, and that person can receive the word the way it was meant to be received. Now again, this is not a free opportunity. For you to go and do things the way you want, because otherwise God's going to continue to roll back the opportunities for you to, to speak into people. But really, you just have to trust God. It is a difficult thing at first, but what you'll start to see is, is that you'll start to be more accurate in your delivery. You start to be more confident in how you do things. And what will happen is, as the prophetic flows through you into people, you'll start to realize, like, wow, This is, this is really amazing. And ultimately, this isn't me. And when— that's the key thing, is, is that when you're yielded to God, you're yielded to the Holy Spirit, you can allow the Holy Spirit to do what he does best. And all you have to do is just get out of his way. And so the trust factor is critical because you don't have to be doing it in your flesh. You don't have to be doing it in your own knowledge. You don't have to be doing it because of your position. In wherever that may be, whether that's at work or at the church or at home, you can deliver the prophetic word confidently and trust the Holy Spirit to work in you in those moments as you're speaking— how to speak it, how to deliver it— and then read the body language. And then maybe they need a hug in the middle of it. Maybe you pause, you know, maybe you stop and you go somewhere and you grab a drink, or you go out for lunch. Like, there's so many different aspects that make this gifting so beautiful that when you start to walk with God and you're trusting in him and you're really recognizing, oh, in these moments, this is how I should be doing it— because what'll happen is the more and more you do it, what you'll see is— and again, I don't want you to lean on this, but I want you to understand that a lot of situations will revolve around similar things you've done in the past. Now, don't be like Moses and strike the rock twice. Remember, God said strike the rock first. And then speak to the rock. And that obviously— that sin kept them from the promised land. So I'm not saying that, because you still got to be yielded. But there's going to be situations where you're going to start to pull on your experience because the situations are going to be similar enough, and God's going to say, yeah, in this situation is the same as that situation, go forward like you used to, or course correct and do it this way. And you build on it. So your experience in the prophetic grows as well as your anointing, because you're trusting in God. And you build that foundation. Obviously, God's going to throw you a curveball from once in a while and show you something new versus a fastball, and that's okay because that's how he grows you, because now you're leaning on him deeper and deeper in every situation and not on your own understanding. So I hope this video shows you that when you ultimately start walking in the path that God has provided for you, that he's got safety nets for you because he knows when you're going to slip up before you do. You— if you're— as long as you're walking with sincerity, with the heart of God the Father, and you're just doing it with all intentions in the mind of Christ, and you're seeing with the eyes of the Holy Spirit, and you're doing it in love, at the end of the day, the walk is beautiful. You can trust him. You will be blessed. Those people will be blessed regardless of how they've received it, because in time it will become more and more an amazing experience for you. And more and more for them, because you never know. Because those people you may be speaking to you may potentially be the brothers and sisters you mentor in the prophetic, and you can impart on them, and they can draw on you as a generational well through a spiritual mother or father, and you can help them accelerate in their works based upon all the experiences, especially your mistakes. So as if you've been enjoying this series, I encourage you to subscribe to my channel. We'll be continuing to put out a lot more videos on your identity in Christ and more in the prophetic. prophetic in the coming weeks and coming months. And please share this video with others so that they can also grow in their walk with God, whether they're even operating in the apostolic gifts where they're building churches or focused on missions, if they're evangelists and they're saving souls, if they're pastors and shepherding churches, or if they're teachers and just running Bible studies. All of the gifts of the fivefold ministry are important. We all play a critical, critical aspect in building the kingdom of God, and every way we can encourage And exhort and comfort one another and really help each other grow, we'll all be better off, off with the kingdom. God bless. God bless.
