Hi, my name is John Humenik. Welcome to the channel. Today we're gonna talk about what God deposited about the bird flu while I was in worship with him today. This is a scary thing for a lot of people because in the past, when you are dealing with bird flu and the situations that occur, there's a really high mortality rate that comes with it. And it is something that jumps species to species, which can cause a lot of problems when it does because we don't have immune system to defend ourselves against something like this. But God said he's got us covered. So I want to talk about the words he's going to release. Let's talk about this situation, address some of the concerns you may have, maybe allay some of your fears, and talk about how a Christian responds to something like this. Let's hop into it. So what we see here is they— we've got in California, they've declared a state of emergency over the bird flu. They've been talking about the things that are related to the situation that occurred, uh, In California, there's a lot of cows that are getting sick. And with an avian flu like this, this is something that does permeate from species to species. You'll see it jump from birds to cows and things like that. And there's a lot of concern with it because it's starting to spread to a point where it's becoming a problem. So what we're seeing here is, is that a lot of different poultry, chicken, and different things like that are being affected by these different things. And what we're seeing here is, is that the, the government is very concerned about being able to nip this in the bud ahead of the schedule. So what the big concern with bird flu is, I mentioned before, is as a part of this article, it talks about the, the different things about the, the infection rate, the different strains that are going on, and the concern people would have related to the things that could happen if it jumps to species. And we'll talk about how that happened because there's a person in Louisiana that already caught it and there's concern that he could become basically patient zero and basically turn this into another issue with another pandemic. So what we have here is there's a 65-year-old person who had underlying health conditions who got sick and is currently in critical condition. And so this version of the bird flu, H5N1, is actually a severe version of it. I think the other ones like H5N2 or H7N9 basically are less milder ones. And when— if you're not familiar with the naming standards, that's okay. Basically what this is, is that these are the ways that they differentiate the physical type of virus that's actually a part of what's being circulated. So the numbers mean different strains and things like that. As we go over to the, the CDC side of things, we see that The first severe case of bird flu is that, I think it's a gentleman that we talked about earlier. And what you're seeing here is, is that that person is dealing with respiratory illnesses, things of basically an infection and all kinds of other aspects they're gonna build out. And if you're familiar with the flu and how it works, is what you end up dealing with is a lot of respiratory issues. And the concern is, is like with pneumonia, that your lungs will fill up with fluid and cause all kinds of issues with basically infections. You'll have trouble breathing. When you have trouble breathing, you have difficulty getting in the oxygen into your body that you need in order to survive. So what we're seeing here is, is that this could become a major problem. But what I wanted to talk about is what God released in my spirit for the Christian who walks out in faith and what it means for us when we face these situations in our walk with God. And so while there's a lot of concern, Let's hop over to the scriptures and see specifically— go ahead and zoom in— and talk about Psalm 91, a very, very powerful verse that sets the stage for all the things that a Christian has to deal with. And it says very clearly, a thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right side, but it will not come near you. And remember, when God's talking about this is that he's talking about everything— illness, disease, Pandemics, problems, everything. He says, you will only observe it with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say the Lord is my refuge and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you. What a powerful, powerful promise. No disaster will even come near your tent or your house. This is even better. And he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways, that your coming and your going, that's your family, your work, your business, your school, your church. And then they will lift you up. It's like that basically they're lifting you up, raising you above all the problems so that you won't even dash your foot against the stone. This is powerful, but it doesn't stop there because God has additional promises in the Bible. And this is the things that he's talking about. He says Jesus himself bore his— our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. So even if you do get sick by something like this, you know that by Jesus's stripes you're healed. By faith you can walk into your healing and receive all the things that God has promised you. But it doesn't stop there, because when you, when you dive into Psalm 91:14, further and you start to understand what it really means to dwell in the shelter of the Most High, you see that there's even greater promises at the beginning of the chapter. And you see this is: Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he's my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and the deadly pestilence. Like this, this is a deadly pestilence. And he will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart, and you will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. And then we talked about it again. A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it won't come near you. You will only observe it with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. This is an incredible promise. This is amazing because it's very clearly stating that it doesn't matter what happens in the world, whatever disease, pestilence, illness, anything that's going to come out there, it may never come near you. And if it does come near you, you're already healed by Jesus's stripes. It's incredible. But it goes even further because this is the promise God has to you and your family. He says that if you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, If you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, he will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought— that he brought on the Egyptians, for he is the Lord who heals you. You have to understand that the Egyptians in this context was the actual Egyptians, but in the current sense it will mean basically the unsaved world, the things that the unsaved world is dealing with, the punishment that they're enduring. And what you see here very clearly Is God is saying that in the first verse here, you'll see that he talks about that he'll see the punishment of the wicked, but the punishment of the wicked will not— because Egyptians at that time were wicked— will not come near you. So we have these beautiful Bible verses that continue to talk about salvation in Jesus Christ. It talks about how by his stripes you are healed, by the fact that these are promises, these are prophetic words promises spoken to you. This is the spirit of prophecy where you can receive your healing, you can receive the faith, the hope, the joy. You can walk this situation out where everyone else is in panic, where everyone else is struggling, where everyone else is going bonkers, and you can stand there and say boldly that, hey, this isn't going to happen to me. I'm going to watch it from a distance, and even if it happens at my feet— because that's the thing that talks about this, it says If they— even if it happens at your feet, it still won't come near you.
