You are the righteousness of Christ

In this sermon, John Humenik presents the doctrine that believers are "the righteousness of Christ," arguing that through Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection, all past, present, and future sins are erased for those who truly trust in Him. He contrasts this truth with the guilt‑laden teachings he associates with Catholic and Orthodox traditions, warning against both hyper‑grace (which can enable sin) and legalism (which can trap believers in endless repentance). Humenik explains that justification makes believers righteous before God, while sanctification is an ongoing process of repentance and reliance on the Holy Spirit. He shares personal testimony of overcoming addiction, uses legal and courtroom metaphors to illustrate how Christ’s righteousness removes all spiritual debt, and cites biblical examples—Paul’s transformation, David’s restoration, and the thief on the cross—to demonstrate that even the gravest sinners can be restored. Practical implications include living in freedom, prosperity, and health without the weight of shame, and he urges viewers, especially those raised in guilt‑focused traditions, to declare their salvation in the comments, emphasizing the unbreakable seal of the Holy Spirit.

Welcome, my name is John Humenik. If you're new to this channel, I would like invite you to subscribe right now and share this video on You Are the Righteousness of Christ with 3 other people. I've got an exciting word that you may have never heard before, but when you start to understand the depth of what I'm about to talk about, it's going to totally set you free of a lot of pain and suffering. If you grew up Catholic, or even some forms of Orthodox, or any other religion that really truly focuses on guilt and other things, this video is going to be for you. If you know someone who has grown up Catholic or still is Catholic, then I want you to share this video with them because the power of you being the righteousness of Christ is going to actually erase a lot of false doctrines that they have learned over the years and allow them to walk out life in prosperity, in freedom, in health, in ways that they never thought possible. This is something that I really want to unlock for you because the power of this message is about the truth. And if you want, you to stick around for this entire video, because when you start to understand that you are the righteousness of Christ, you are going to be able to Unlock the mysteries that God has for you in this life. So let's get started and understand, well, what does it mean that you are the righteousness of Christ? Well, what it means is that Jesus Christ, through his sacrifice and through your belief in that death and resurrection, now get to wear what he bought on the cross for you. every single day. What it means is, is that your past sins, your present sins, and your future sins have been technically erased. Now, what I don't wanna get into is any false doctrines about living in sin or living in a situation where you have been in sin and haven't repented for. We're not really talking about those situations. What we're really talking about is the ideal that you have to continually repent for all the things that you continue to do, and that if you don't repent, what ends up happening is, is you lose your salvation and get cast into hell. See, a lot of doctrines within the— within various religions, what they'll do is they'll be— what, there'll be hyper-grace, and then there'll be situations where you're basically guilted into all kinds of things. And the righteousness of Christ actually sits in between, which means is that when you go to heaven You are going to be able to stand before the Father because Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross has set you free. Now, if you have not repented of all your sins when you stand before the Father, that doesn't mean that your salvation is canceled and you get cast into hell. That's what the the one side was talking about when you're dealing with excessive guilt and you're constantly in this place where you have to basically ask for forgiveness of sins. You see this concept come into being whenever they want. want to baptize children because they believe that without baptism you can't go into heaven, which is a false doctrine because look at the thief on the cross as a perfect example. So you have to understand that it's not hyper-grace. It's not where you're in a situation where you can go on sinning and living a free life in the world and then expect no form of basically problems or discipline or even subsequent punishment, because What we're dealing with is, is the understanding that you can walk out life in victory because you're the righteousness of Christ. Christ says that you have to be holy as if the Father is holy. That's a tall standard. He even talked about that your righteousness needed to exceed that of the Pharisees, which were great teachers of the law. And believe it or not, there were some Pharisees that were righteous. They weren't all bad. And so you have to understand that the standard is quite high. But when you robe yourself with Jesus Christ through the salvation process, and what that means is that you're taking on Jesus Christ on a daily basis, as well as you've received him into your life, what it means is that when the Father looks at you, he doesn't see all the sins that you've committed, because there is no such thing as a righteous act that any human could do that would equate to what Jesus did. It's impossible. The the standard is so high and so far beyond what we could ever possibly achieve, simply because we just don't know all the things that we need to know in order to live out a righteous life. We just don't understand all the nuances of the Bible. So what it means is to be the righteousness of Christ is that when the Father sees you, He sees Jesus Christ, and He doesn't see your sin. He doesn't see your stains. He doesn't see all the problems that you have brought upon your life, and Now God can operate in your life in a way as if you were perfect. That's what it means. It means you are the righteousness of Christ. It means that the sacrifice that Jesus did on the cross, that Jesus went to the grave, that he got resurrected and then ascended into heaven, is the, the perfect justification process. You're justified by God, and you are no longer subject to the wrath that is to come. Whether it is either by your death or in the end times, because guess what? There's technically 2. Because if you die in sin and therefore go to hell, there's still a judgment day that's coming and an additional lake of fire and brimstone. So the current hell, or Sheol as it's described in the Bible, it gets ripped apart. There's a new judgment that comes through on the Great White Throne Judgment, and those people get to spend eternity in the space that God creates for them, separated from God in eternal torment. But the righteousness of Christ says that once you're justified, once you're set free, once you're clean, guess what happens? You're now operating in this sanctification process. And so now the blessings and the anointing that come upon your life can be operated in full because of the work that Jesus did on the cross. And now by receiving it in faith and then walking it out, you can walk out life in victory with the thought process and the true understanding that there is no guilt and shame there. And I'll give you a perfect example. There was a situation not too long ago that I went into and got stuck in a sin that I just didn't want to be a part of. It actually got to the point where when I was actually finally able to work my way through the situation with the Holy Spirit, what happened was, as I had this really deep sickness inside of me. I was like, this, this felt crummy. It wasn't something that I did, but it was something that I did. It's kind of like what Paul talks about in the, in his epistles where he says, look, he goes, I know sin is inside of me. It's sin that does it, but I still do it anyway, even though I don't want to. What a wretched person I am. And I'm paraphrasing because I don't remember all the specific words, but it's functionally basically he's sinning and he doesn't want to do it. And he calls himself wretched. But what am I? Supposed to do. But yet at the end he says, ah, but Jesus Christ came and saved me. So what the Holy Spirit did is he walked me through that process of repentance and restoration. And what happened was that happened in early in the morning. By the afternoon, I had gone through the day as if it didn't happen. And even by the evening prayer time and the next day, I was like, wow, when did that happen? And it was such a distant memory, it was as if it didn't happen. And why— I'd asked the Holy Spirit, I said, why don't I feel the guilt and shame? Why don't I feel like that there needs to be some form of change? And he says, you are the righteousness of Christ. You've walked through that process, and I've forgotten what has happened. And so what it did is it no longer held the power to negatively affect my day in any way, shape, or form. What it did is it set me free to know that when I fall into sin, And that I come before God in repentance, what God is saying very clearly to you is that it can't bind you anymore, that the shame that comes with that sin is gone, the guilt that comes with that sin is gone. Let's look at this from a perspective like an alcoholic would. This is a really common thing. Imagine you are, or someone you know, who's caught in some form of alcoholic addiction, and it can become very problematic. And you can apply that to any form of addiction. Drugs would be another example. And let's they're in a, in a basically drunken rage and they cause someone some form of harm. It could be anything. It could be a physical altercation, altercation where they basically get into a fight. Maybe they slap a child without any form of reasoning and they just do it. It could be anything. Now when you— when they realize what happened, there is this guilt and shame that comes over them. you can see it in their countenance. They sink and they fall down, and it becomes something that weighs them down. So what the devil likes to do to people is he likes to get them into sin, and then he likes to condemn them once they've done it. But what the Holy Spirit is trying to tell you today very clearly is being the righteousness of Christ understands that we can't live up to the letter and all the commands that Christ has put before us in the New Covenant. It doesn't matter if we apply a lot of the, the social laws that come out of the Old Testament, which still apply today. Obviously, the societal laws and the sacrificial laws don't. But what you start to see and understand is, is that when you start to try to live up to those things, you're invariably going to fall short. You're invariably going to get into an argument with someone you don't want to. You're invariably going to make a mistake that you regret. And what God is saying in this moment to you is very clear. What he's saying is, is that you are the righteousness of Christ, that through this sanctification process, I understand that you're going to fall short. But Jesus, being the perfect sacrifice, the sacrificial Lamb of God, the one who shed his blood on the cross, what he has done is he has replaced that shame with hope. He's replaced that guilt with opportunity to be lifted up and to be restored and to be able to move forward, because God is a God of forgiveness. He understands that in his permissible will, the way this world operates, it— that the reality is, is that people do fall short because they're in a sinful state from birth, and that sinful state doesn't leave them until death. And so at that point, God knows there's got to be some level of reconciliation and covering, because what he does not want his children to operate is From a position of lack and a position of defeat. This is really important for those people who are struggling because you're probably— if you're— especially if you're caught in some form of addiction, and using the example we talked about earlier around being in a drunken rage, what will happen is, is that you will always feel some form of like, I need to change after the fact. But what God is saying is, is that not only will you not have to deal with that, But you will not carry the weight of those mistakes going forward because that will literally be in your past. So imagine if you got into a situation where, let's say for example, you knew someone who got drunk, was at a bar, got into a fight, got arrested, and now they couldn't— they had some issues and now the police are coming and going to, you know, basically maybe take away their children. And this is, believe it or not, In the space of those people who are caught in that cycle, this is not an uncommon thing. This is something that happens often. And what'll happen is, is God will say, not only will I erase the problem that occurred, but I will restore the family. I will restore your record, and I will allow you to move forward mentally knowing that you're victorious so that the next time you see that bar, you're gonna reject it, but you're no longer gonna feel guilt and shame of the things that you did in the past. And God will allow you to bring back all the things that were lost because that he loves you. Now, that may sound like a far-fetched scenario for some people, especially those who may be caught in that addiction to be in that case. But the reality is, is that people don't see themselves the way God sees them. God sees them through the lens of Jesus Christ. The lens of Jesus Christ is perfection. There is no rose-colored glasses. There's no tint. There's no change to his perspective. What it means very clearly is that God sees you through Jesus Christ, who's perfect. Therefore, when you are atoning for sins and you're resetting that part of your life and basically erasing it, God's basically saying, okay, let's get back to where you were. Let's restore you back to the kingdom. Let's restore you back. to the priesthood. Let's restore you back into a place of leadership. You may have not lost that place, but you may have felt like you lost it, clearly, because there's definitely situations where those are either/or or and, right? So you can be caught in a situation where you are struggling with the weight of your sin. This is going to be for people that especially who grew up Catholic and maybe some form of Orthodox, because the religion, whether intentional or not, builds a culture of guilt and shame without even realizing it. And, and some people may believe that that's intentional, and I'm not here to debate that or not, but what people can do is get caught up in the fact that they're never going to be good enough, that they're always going to be less than, that they're falling forward, and that they can never live up to the standard. It is so common in children, especially with parents that are demanding. You can be caught in this cycle where you can never be what they want you to be. And this is something that I tell my children all the time, is that there's a difference between me holding you accountable and pushing you forward, but then creating an atmosphere of being unattainable. What I try to make sure that they understand is, is that as they move forward, that they are expected to live a holy life, and that when they slip up, that I'll be there to make sure that there's either some form of correction or some form of, you know, I gotta help catch you. And so, but it's always going to be that case because I don't want them to continue to get comfortable in their life, which is very common for people of their generation. And it will then allow them to slip into basically a state where they can no longer take care of themselves. But I do expect, expect of them and explain to them also at the same time that this is not an overbearing situation where You can no longer live in peace and live in a harmony with the family because the understanding is, is that as long as you're doing the things you're supposed to be doing at a high level, the rest will take care of itself. That's just how Christianity works. If you're falling short and not able to do the things that you're supposed to be doing, basic things like eating 3 meals a day, maybe you'll see children a lot go through the situation where they love to game, where they'll skip meals. You'll see this situation where you'll look at it from a parent's perspective that they're so demanding on a child to be excellent at school. And you see programs like Kumon, which I'm not going to, you know, talk against, but what they'll do is they'll say, I want you to be a straight-A student. I want you to go to the best schools. I want you to thrive and have an excellent life and make the most money. You can see that applied in the sporting world very, very heavily. Especially in the elites. And so what you start to see is, is that the world will start to create an environment where no matter what you do, no matter how you feel, no matter how you operate, you're never going to be good enough. And so whenever you fall short, you get into this cycle of guilt and shame because you can never rise to the occasion in order to accomplish Either what your perspective of life should be, a parent's perspective, or even someone else's, especially the world's. So what God is saying is, being the righteousness of Christ, that's all erased. That's irrelevant. It's actually a conversation that never comes up because God knows definitively, without a doubt, that you're not good enough. He knows that. He knows I'm not good enough. But what he knows is that by Jesus's blood, and being consecrated by that sacrifice, you are good enough. That's the essence of what he's trying to say. He is— that by yourself, outside of Jesus Christ, forget about it. But within Jesus Christ, it is all done. And not only is it all done, it's a permanent thing. It's a, a thing that doesn't get to be taken away from you because you get to walk out life in victory. Now, on this channel, we've talked about losing your salvation or not losing your salvation. We're not really gonna digress into that area, but what I want to encourage you today is to truly understand that when God has sealed you with the Holy Spirit, that seal can't be broken. That's not something that you can opt out of. The righteousness of Christ is a part of you, whether you like it or not, because once you've crossed that line, into life and you try to live back in the world, the Holy Spirit's got you and is gonna continue a work in you until you concede the parts of your life that he needs to concede in order to go to the next level. I'm a perfect and living example of this. My testimony, we talked about this, when 2 worlds collide, you have a situation in life where you can choose to live out life in control. You can walk out life and say, I'm gonna do it my way. I still got the Holy Spirit. I still got giftings. I'm still blessed, but I'm gonna still do it my way. The Holy Spirit will be patient and work with you to get you to a place of humility and surrender because he knows you're the righteousness of Christ. He knows that when you start to accept the ideals and the principles that are in the Bible, that you no longer have to walk around in the guilt and shame because you're never going to be good enough. Because when you start taking on the work that the Holy Spirit would do otherwise for your life, you're putting yourself in a position For a couple of things. One, you're not going to get the things out of that season that you need to. And number two, to be fair, we're not qualified to do that work. We're not capable of doing that work. In fact, the Holy Spirit will do the work for us in the instances that he needs to, and he'll partner with us in the areas that he needs us to work with him on. But the essence of the righteousness of Christ, the essence of being that process is that it's okay to depend upon the Holy Spirit. It's okay to depend upon Jesus because it is a partnership. There isn't a thing that God wants you to do that's supposed to be outside of him. We didn't see that with Adam in the garden in any way, shape, or form. Every single, every single thing Adam did was a part of God's plan. And in fact, he had an appointed time with Adam in order to meet with him And then when he sinned, God knew, okay, he knew he sinned, but he also knew that he missed the appointed time. So the righteousness of Christ is a concept and a principle and a spiritual law that allows you to operate from victory at all times. Because the thing about it is, is that if the devil can stick anything to you at any point in time— think about this from a court of law perspective— if any mistake that you ever made in your entire life could be held against you to be able to go to jail time. Think about that. Think about all the laws that you have broken over your life. Every single stop sign that you didn't stop completely, every single red light that you ran, every single thing you might have stolen, every single lie that you have spoken. There are so many different physical laws in your country that you could have probably been at least Cumulatively ended up in jail. Think about that from that perspective, that you could have cumulatively through your life ended up in jail, and now that jail time becomes a stamp in which you now have to serve out. But God is saying, because you're the righteousness of Christ, that that jail time's already been served. That punishment has already been given. All those pain and suffering, that's already handed out to Jesus because that's what he took upon the cross. He took our punishment. He took our shame, he took the curses, he took all of the things that we were supposed to receive and then bury them in the ground, and that was the end of it. And then rose again in victory with the keys of death and hell themselves. So when you think about that from your perspective, and we go back to the court example, imagine if you were able to go into court and the devil is holding anything he can against you. Because remember, there are courts in heaven in which the devil will accuse you in. And so how he does it, I'm not going to, you know, get into the philosophies if he has access to heaven or not. Not going to do that. But he can accuse you. And I know because through my prayer time, God has said that Satan has accused me. And so if he has anything that will stick, anything that will allow those things to become real punishment, what happens is it pulls me out of the grace and mercy of God. And so what happens is it exposes me to the wrath of Satan. And but what I understand is, is by through the being the righteousness of Christ, I stay under the protection of God, that Satan can never touch the believer. And so he can never veer me off my course. He can't do that because that's what the word touch means, is it doesn't mean just Put your hand upon him. What it means is actually means divert and take you off God's path for your life. So when you being the righteousness of Christ, what it means is, is that when he accuses you of these evils, even if you've committed them, to be fair, you are in a position of protection and be a form of safety. Because what happens is, is then now God is taking care of that for you. you're dead in Christ because that's what the Bible talks about. So all the things that would come being are erased. That's the thing about death, is this final closure. All the things that come about get paid. No different than if you had some— let's say, for example, you had a credit card that needed to be paid. You passed away, and guess what happens? They can't collect because it's an unsecured debt. All the things that Satan has against you are unsecured. There's nothing that he can attach to you While you're alive, because you're dead in Christ, you are the righteousness of Christ. That allows you to operate in freedom so that all the things that he would hold against you— I can't imagine the number of people that will watch this video that are being constantly accused of things in the past. The people will say, well, you used to be like this, and so you should be that way going forward. You, you can't change. It's not possible. You're not smart enough. You're not good-looking enough. You're not rich enough. You're not holy enough. There's always something that will try to draw you back into a world of defeat and destruction if you will allow it. But when you stand on the principles of God and say, I am the righteousness of Christ, I am that which is what God expects me to be, I see myself as my Father sees me, I'm walking out life in his perfect will, and I'm not veering off the path even into his the permissible will. I want to stay in the perfect will. And so what it means is, is that the things that would come against you consistently, day by day, the things that would want to derail you, can't. You are operating from a position that you are the righteousness of Christ. You are holy and consecrated. And going through this sanctification process, which really boils down to really 2 things: you're developing your relationship with Jesus Christ, which will be the cornerstone in which will carry you into the eternal age, as well as, as you are giving and yielding more and more of yourself to the Holy Spirit so that he can operate through greater levels of power through your life. That's the essence of righteousness of Christ. So when you look at it from that perspective, that I'm building my relationship with Jesus Christ, I'm getting closer and closer to him, I'm yielding and surrendering my life to the Holy Spirit more and more. I'm going deeper into that relationship and allowing him to work through in great power and in great miracles and great authority through me. What then you realize is, is that when you do get into a situation where you trip up— and invariably all of us will be in that case whether we recognize it or not— God will have grace for that situation. Not only will he have grace, is he'll also have mercy. If the situation is quite severe. And then what he does is through the repentance process, through the reconciliation process, restores you back to the place that you were, even if you didn't even realize that you had lost it, because God is that as a gracious God. That's why every single night I pray about forgive me for both known and unknown sins, so that way there is nothing going forward That will— I can be held against me going forward because I will always try to reset and allow anything that's lingering in the background to basically disappear. Because I understand that I'm the righteousness of Christ, that I get to walk out life in victory. I get to eat the fat of the land. I don't have any form of guilt going to the grocery store and treating myself to really nice food. Even if the— if I'm in a situation like, man, I don't know if I can afford this, But then I know Malachi 3:10 says I can because I have the unlimited blessings of God. Basically, that's what God says in Malachi. I have to read it from time to time because it's so amazing that it'll be so abundant you can't store it. So God's saying that when you're on his economy, you can always do those things. You always have to use wisdom because you're not trying to put yourself in debt or spend excessively, because there's other verses that talk about that. But what you want to do is you're always operating from, I am capable, I am allowed, and I am consecrated to do this work. I am allowed to do these things. I don't have to live life at a lower level. I don't have to concede and take second place. I don't have to operate from a position of lack. I can move forward and say, hey, guess what? I can Operate and own the nice cars. I can go and take those nice vacations. I can go and be able to support the kingdom of God through missions work. That even if the devil says that, hey, you're not allowed to travel, God says, yes, you are. You are blessed. You are graced. You can go forward and spread the gospel to people. That's what it's all about, is, is that there is nothing that the devil can pin on you and create a label that will then stick. There's nothing that he can attach to you, a clasp, a chain, or anything like that, that will then hold you back or even slow you down. God is saying, because you are the righteousness of Christ, because of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, you are able to walk out your true identity without any guilt, without any shame, without any form of inhibiting factor that would try to either divert your attention Make you accept a different identity or actually try to slow you down. That's what it means. It means that even though the actions of the past may be grave— and Paul, talking about it very plainly, says he's the worst sinner of them all because he literally hunted Christians down— that even God can restore him back. Think about that from Paul's perspective. Here's a guy, Saul of Tarsus, goes around. He then allows and basically gives the blessing to kill Stephen the Martyr at the beginning of Acts. If I remember correctly, I think this is Acts 7. And then after that, it— that basically invigorates the religious people. And so at that point, they start attacking the, the religious sect which is known as the Way, which is the early Christians, and goes and persecutes them. So he goes and he starts hunting them down in Jerusalem and in other cities. And so he goes and gets them. And basically they're arrested, some are killed, and he's the culprit. He's the one that's functionally going out there and doing all the dirty work. And imagine that. So Jesus meets him on the way to Damascus, blinds him for 3 days. He goes to Damascus, sees a man named Ananias, and Ananias says, I'm here to bless you. Scales basically fall off his eyes. Paul can see and immediately realizes, oh my goodness, I made a huge mistake. The person I was actually persecuting Jesus, not these Christians. I was actually trying to persecute Jesus. He's real. And not only is he real, he's actually the Messiah that I had studied for my whole life. He's the Anointed One. He's the one described in Psalms 2. He's the one that's talked about in Isaiah 53. He is the promise that came out of Genesis 3 where it says the serpent will strike at his foot, but that— but the, the seed of the woman will strike your head. And crush it. That's Jesus. And so Paul goes through this process. So think about this. He goes through this repentance process where he then says, I, I need to be forgiven. Forgive me of my sins. Jesus reconciles him, restores him, and then puts him on this path that basically builds the, the functionally the Gentile church across the world that actually still exists today. So Paul knew in that moment that he was the righteousness of Christ. He never allowed the decisions and the mistakes and the sins of the past to dictate the way he was operating going forward. So think about that. Paul didn't allow his past to dictate his future. Paul didn't allow his actions to negatively impact his future actions. He never once looked at Saul and said, I can't be Paul. That's the essence of the righteousness of Christ. That's the essence of what it means, that you can move forward no matter where you're at today, no matter what you've done, and know that because of what Jesus did on the cross for me, because of the things that he accomplished, that I am set free. I operate always in freedom. And though there are actual consequences to sin, God will walk me through them, and I will receive what I need to receive. I will learn what I need to learn, and that will become a testimony for me going forward to set people free. And ultimately, what you start to realize is, is that, that all the things that would want to cling to you, the ones that would want to bind you and slow you down and turn you back and make you turn around like Lot's wife and look back at Sodom and Gomorrah and turn you into salt, doesn't do that anymore. Those— it doesn't have any power over you. It doesn't have any capability of preventing you from being you and all the things that God has for you. And now you can walk out life in victory, because at the end of the day, you have to understand that you're a sinner. I'm a sinner. We're always going to fall short in some way at some point in time, even if we're able to do what may seem impossible and live a righteous life for 30 days, maybe Even 30 months. Imagine, like, if you were able to walk out life exactly the way God wants you, eventually you're going to fall short in some part of your life. But that's where the righteousness of Christ comes in. That's where the blood comes in. That's where it allows you to move forward in victory and in confidence that, guess what? Yes, that happened. Yes, I'll learn from it. But guess what? It's not going to change what I'm about to do. It's not going to derail me from accomplishing what God has in front of me. It's not going to prevent me from establishing my relationship further with Jesus Christ because I'm a sinner and he won't see me. No, he wants to be with you. He already knows who you are. He already knows your mistakes before they happen. He knows your choices afterwards and how you react. He wants you to always operate from a posture of peace, not a posture of shame. He clearly wants you to operate from a posture of repentance and reconciliation, And walking and turning away from those things, especially if they're recurring. But he'll always understand that you are the righteousness of Christ, and that even through all of that, that time from the point when you start to sin to the time you no longer sin in that area in your life, he will guide you because you are the righteousness of Christ. And the things that would have happened still happen. That's the essence, is that people will try to attach That all forms of things can derail you. In, in some cases they can, and I'm not trying to say that they're not, because you can get into a situation where sin can ruin your life, no question about that. But when you get into the understanding that when you're operating from the righteousness of Christ's perspective, what you'll start to realize is, is that God can restore and rebuild anything that's lost, even if it's great. Look at David's life when he, he killed Uriah to take Bathsheba as his wife. Even through that, he didn't die, got restored to the kingdom. Although he had to deal with the fallout of Absalom and war throughout the rest of his life, he still retained the kingship, he still got his son on the throne, and he still established the path to be able to build the First Temple. And so even though the sin was grave, God restored him and put him back on a path that allowed him to accomplish all the things that God wanted him to do for the rest of his life. And so that's the essence of what we see here. That's the essence what God wants you to understand, is that truly at the end of the day, if you're operating with these principles, you don't have to agree with the noise of the world. And even if you do fall short, you are— there's always a path to get back to the throne of God. And so you need to understand that through this, the righteousness of Christ, that you were always seated in Christ. You are always before God. You are always going to be able to be reconciled before him because you're moving forward in an upward and forward fashion, because you love him and he loves you, and that you're continuing to work things out. And when you truly understand that and you truly grasp that, it will truly set you free. It will put you in a position where guilt and shame and the words of the chirping world, whatever that may be, that try to draw you back into the old person doesn't apply to you anymore and can never stick. And when you can operate like that, you can be victorious every single day of your life because you now know that the, the scum of the past that would try to attach itself can't. And you're now able to move forward because you are the righteousness of Christ because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross, and that what he did for you is a free gift that you can receive, and that you can receive it. And if you haven't received that I pray that you just take the time to just come in and ask God to forgive you of your sins and to come and enter your heart and allow him to reset all the brokenness that's there and allow you to set free. And if you do do that, and if you got to this point in this video and you believe that you're one of those people, I want you to type in the comments, I am saved, and so that I can see all the people that have found a path to salvation and know that they are now the righteousness of Christ and can operate from victory to victory and glory to glory and faith to faith. God bless.
