How to help your OFS progress in life. So I, along with this podcast, I sent an email, I sent a newsletter out with similar topics or basically the same topics. My newsletter regularly gets read by 20,000 plus people. And I get really good, kind, insightful responses from people every day. But this one that I got was kind of nasty. And this is actually from a customer who I've communicated with a few times. And I really like her. And she responded to my email last week, which I sent an email out about my daughter in school and taking the act. And Lisa kind of took offense to what I said. Here's what she said. So, as a teacher, I completely disagree with your assessment of school. It absolutely does not just prepare people to take tests and give you no real skills. Reading is a real skill. Speaking in front of groups is a real skill. Writing is a real skill. Math is a real skill. But wait, there's more. And so she continued to list other real life skills that education provides. And I want to say thank you to Lisa because, number one, it, like, helped me see a more clear picture of our, of our education system and what it does for our society, which I'm still an advocate of going to school. I know a lot of entrepreneurs are like, oh, school's so dumb. It was so bad for me. But there's so much good that comes from it. But here's, here's the line in her email that really got me in what I was reading. So she says school exists to empower people with the skills they need to become what they want. And I read that and thought, yes, like, that's the point. That's a huge reason why we do what we do in our business. Yes, I started hiring ofs to help me build my business. But the more I worked with them, the more I realized, yeah, I'm helping. Like, I'm doing good in the world, employing these people. I'm helping. If I can help them, I help them. And I help their parents and I help their spouse, and I help their kids, and I can help them have a better life. And when you educate your ofs, you empower them. I mean, yes, providing them with education helps grow your business. Yes, it makes your life easier. Yes, it makes things run more efficiently, but it also does the same thing for them. It gives them understanding into how your business works. It gives them skills that can be used in your business. It gives them ideas that they will bring to your business so that they maybe deserve a raise. It helps them contribute, which they want to contribute. It helps them progress in their career. It empowers them with greater understanding and confidence and desire to do better. And if that training is provided by you, then it shows them that you care about their career. It shows them that your company is a good place to work. It makes them them loyal to you so that when they progress in their career, they continue to progress with you in your business. Even if you all of this is why I advocate training. Even if you've hired an expert, you should still provide them training. Training comes with like a 100x ROI. It's amazing how in so many different ways training benefits you and them. Even in indirect ways from like just getting this task done. This is why we created VA's Made Easy. It's done for you education. You give the training to your ofs, they progress, your business progresses. It's a win win for everybody. Vasmadeasy.com.
