Welcome to the Secret Sauce of outsourcing podcast that's dedicated to making you better at working with OFS. This is episode 203, what to tell your friends about your OFS. So I want to start with what not to tell your friends about your ofs. And this has come up a lot of times over the years. First, don't tell them your OFS's name. It's always surprising to me how often someone's like, oh, Manuel is so amazing. Or like, they'll tell me their full name, and I'm like, manuel, how could I find this person? No, I'm not like that. But your friends are right. Like, people are lazy. Nobody wants to do the work of finding someone amazing. They're always like, oh, give me a referral. How can I find someone? Who do you know? That's great. And I'm like, dude, if I knew someone great, that means I recruited them and I have them working for me. And now you want to hire them from me? Yeah, I'm definitely not telling you their name. So if you tell them the name of your office, the first thing they're gonna do is go looking for that person. You know, it's just a good idea to kind of keep it. Keep it private. Now, fortunately for you, if you have told them your name or told them the name of your ofs, that's okay. Filipinos are super loyal, and as long as you're treating them well, which is a critical component of them being loyal, you have to treat them well. As long as you treat them well, they will work for you. They're not going to quit working for you. They may take another job, which may cut back their hours for you, which is sucky, but they're not going to. They're not going to leave you unless you do a crappy job of managing them. So what do you tell your friends? Well, rant about them, rave about them. Tell them what they do for you. Tell them specific tasks they're doing and how good they are. Tell them what the time savings that it is that it saved you. Tell them where you found your ofs, whether that's at onlinejobs Ph or at Fiverr or at Upwork or wherever it was that you found your OFS. Tell them about hiring help at, like, 1vaoa.com, where I'll teach them exactly how to do it. Join the affiliate program for one VAOA and give that to them. You already have an affiliate link for OnlineJobs ph that's included in your account. If you log into OnlineJobs ph and you scroll down, then there's a link in green that's your affiliate link. It's right there. If you just. If you start using it, you send it to people, you will get credit for that. And we'll pay you, like, through PayPal. Obviously, once we don't ask for any information upfront, once you've made some sales, then we'll ask you for some information and we'll send you money. With one VAOA, we pay a 90% commission. So, like, if your friends buy it or anything they buy through that link, we're gonna pay you a 90% commission on that. I didn't create one VAOA to make money. I created it to get the word out. There's a lot of things that you can tell people about your ofs. Their name is not one of them, but everything else, like how it's affecting you and your business. And even if there's struggles, tell them your struggles. This shouldn't be like a everything is rosy conversation. So often people think that, like, oh, this is a magic bullet. Because my friend said their OFS is so amazing. And it's not a magic bullet. Like, it's going to take some work, but at least tell them the truth about the whole thing. Your OFS is amazing. You know it, I know it. Your friends don't know it. Let them know.
