Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm an online Filipino specialist working as a copywriter for an organization of dentists based in New Jersey.
So I started working from home as a virtual assistant about 11 years ago. Very first gig was a transcriber and from there I moved into freelance writing like blogging, ghost writing and article writing. I've invested in multiple email copywriting programs and mentorships from both local and international mentors. I also run my own email campaigns using mailchimp or System IO to test different strategies that I can later apply to clients projects.
So I work with different groups of dentists. For one group I write their internal email announcements and then for another group I write the copy for their dentistry podcast on their website. So the podcast has been going on for eight months now. They're slowly building their audience and then finally for another group I write the promotional materials for their online lectures to fellow dentists. So this particular program is about how to better run a dental clinic.
My best contribution is helping my very first email copywriting client. I actually have a case study for this. I focus on authority building and nurture based emails that build trust over time and it paid off for my client. It. In the case study, one standout email achieved 87% open rate. Client confirmed that the emails contributed to increased sales.
I work from 9pm to 6am Philippine time. After my shift I make breakfast and then prepare my eldest daughter for school. Once she leaves for school, I would then clean the house while taking care of my youngest daughter. And then I sleep from 11am to 5pm When I'm not working I play video games. Right now I'm playing a Ninja Turtles game on the PS4. Also we like visiting the mall. So right now we're at SM Tarlac to bond with the whole family. In the Philippines, malls are very popular because it's air conditioned. And we like window shopping. So right now we're at the toy section and when there's an occasion I buy toys for my kids. But right now we're just window shopping. What advice would you give to employers looking to hire Filipinos? For employers looking to hire Filipinos, I can tell you that you won't regret your decision. Filipinos are hard working. No matter what happens, we strive to finish the task at hand. We are loyal, especially if it's the right fit. I have friends who are with the same employer for five to 10 years already. And lastly we are prepared and reliable. I have a backup power supply, a backup Internet and I have a backup laptop. So Whatever happens, I'll be there. Okay? So our orders have arrived. Here we have chicken sisig pork barbecue, lumpiang, Shanghai bulalo, which is a beef broth with bone marrow. And then we have here garlic rice, white rice, watermelon shake, coconut shake, and mango shake. So let's eat. Onlinejobs Ph has been a life changer for me. Not only did it give me opportunities, it also allowed me to have more time for my family and, of course, financial stability. Thank you, onlinejobs Ph.
