A short spoken commentary by John Jonas on how AI can assist Online Filipino Specialists (OFS). He argues AI can improve efficiency for talented, trained OFS but cannot replace untrained workers; AI functions as a prediction algorithm that doesn't truly think, can be useful yet sometimes produces outputs he wouldn't show customers, and may improve over time.

If an OFS is talented, yeah, AI can improve their work, it can increase their efficiency, it can make things better. But for someone who's untrained and doesn't know what they're doing, if it's not going to replace something that isn't there already. So is it going to get better over time? Yes. Is it going to. Is this going to change and evolve over time? For sure. But to me, AI is best used when there's a human operator behind it because it still doesn't think it's just a prediction algorithm predicting what should be done. Now. It's not always right. And in fact, every time I use it, it's like, oh, yeah, that was really cool. But I don't want my customers to see this. Like, I wouldn't replace an OFS with this because this, this is obnoxious. Even though it's really cool and it could be really good, it's not for me. It hasn't quite been there yet. Maybe it'll get there.
