How to outsource in the Philippines. Hey, my name is John Jonas and I created onlinejobs ph, which is the largest marketplace for hiring virtual workers in the Philippines. So let me give you five steps for how to outsource in the Philippines. So step number one is decide what you need. Obviously, if you're looking for to outsource a full division of your company, well, what I'm about to describe to you isn't. Isn't for you. You can go find a BPO company and they'll deal with it for you. But if you're looking for to outsource specific things where you can hire someone to work with them, the first step is to decide what exactly it is that you're looking for. What are the exact skills? The second step is to go browse the resumes at Onlinejobs pH, so that you'll know pretty dang well what the skills are that people have. You'll find exactly how much experience they have and, and what varied skills they have and what kind of work they're looking for and how much salary they're looking to make. And the next step would be to hire someone from onlinejobs Ph. Now, there's a bunch of different ways you could hire people. You could go through an agency and they'll mark them up three times, or you could go to upwork.com where they're gonna charge you a 20 to 40% fee, or at onlinejobs phone, you contact them directly, you work with them directly. They work from home on their own hours, which is really great for them. And then they get all the money you pay them. And so it's a really, really good situation. So step number three in this is, after you've hired them, you're going to give them their first task. And your goal with this first task isn't to get this first task done. And that's a really great. That's a good thing too. But your goal with this first task is to figure out, can we work together? Can we make this work? Because the biggest pitfall in outsourcing to most places is this is really hard. Like communication is an issue and personalities are an issue and cultural differences are a big issue. And that's not so much the case with the Philippines, where communication isn't an issue and the cultural differences aren't the big issue. The big issue is can I work with this person to get things done? Now, if you've recruited well, if you followed my recruiting process@1vaaway.com you shouldn't have a problem with this. But otherwise, your first goal is to figure out, can I work with this person? And that's the goal with completing the first task. Step number four is to understand the cultural differences, like understand the holidays in the Philippines, understand their shyness, understand how they don't want to disappoint you, understand their loyalty, understand how they look up to foreign employers. So there's a whole bunch of different things that you should understand about the Philippines that will change slightly the way that you're going to manage this person. And again, I outline all of Those cultural differences in 1vaoa.com where I'll walk you through this hiring process and the cultural differences. Step number five in step number five in outsourcing to the Philippines is to manage this person well. Now, what most people have experienced in the past is that outsourcing is a big headache and it's a problem and it sucks. And that's because they didn't go to the Philippines with it. And if they did, it's because they didn't manage the person well. So what you'll find is outsourcing to the Philippines is the best if you treat this person well, if you manage them well, if you treat them kindly, if you give them good feedback, if you treat them positive, and if you help them accomplish their tasks. Not that you have to do it for them, if you just give them the tools they need rather than saying, oh, go do this on your own. So managing this person after you've hired them, going to make a really, really big difference in your experience Here? I'll give you an example. I learned over the years that I manage people pretty well, and I think that's a natural trait for me that fits well with the Philippines. But the first person I ever hired in 2005 still works for me today. This is one of the magic things about the Philippines is they're so loyal that if you treat them well and if you manage them well, they'll never quit working for you. And that makes such a big difference, especially for a small business owner. So I said in the beginning, if you're a big company, you're looking to outsource in the Philippines, you can go hire a BPO company. And that's fine if you're a small business owner, an entrepreneur, a realtor, a doctor, a lawyer, which I have customers in every industry across the board. You're a brick and mortar business owner, you're an online e commerce store owner. Whatever it is, this is for you. Go hire an individual in the Philippines. Outsource to someone who knows what they're doing, who has skills that you can help them develop their career, they can help you build your business, and it turns out to be really amazing. My name is John Jonas. Like I told you before, I have created a program to help you, walk you through the full process of hiring your first va so that you know pretty dang well. I'm gonna hire a good VA the first time. That's available at 1vaaway.com. I also created OnlineJobs ph, which is the biggest and the best place to hire these virtual workers. Thanks for watching. La.
