Welcome to the Secret Sauce of Outsourcing podcast that's dedicated to making you better at outsourcing to the Philippines. This is episode 358, sharing happy life moments with your ofs. So one of the things that makes my day is when I get a story, a picture, a text, something from one of the people on my team and they tell me good things that are going on in their life. Now I recently said on my podcast that I've been on a kick of sharing stories, that I've been on a kick of sharing success stories either from people in the Philippines or from people in the US and, and those success stories aren't necessarily like life changing success stories. Often they're just something good going on. So I recently got pictures of one of my ofs, not on vacation, but at a seminar with a couple of her girlfriends. And I asked her, she said, I'm away. I said, are you on vacation? She said, no, I'm at a seminar. I was like, dang, I wish you were on vacation. And she said, yeah, I could take a vacation. That would be good for me. But really she was just at an event with friends, which is kind of a vacation but still a good thing for her. And along with that, I get pictures of first cars or homes or graduations or people working from home with their kids around them. Just really good things. And you get these things too. And it feels good to know that you are contributing to someone's life, to making them better. So I got this email from David, who feels the same way as I do. Here's what David says. He says, I have been on your list for a while and and used onlinejobs ph to hire a VA in the Philippines last spring. We've been working together since then and this past weekend she sent me the screenshotted message. I just wanted you to know that you are making a difference in the world. You probably already know that, but hey, an additional reminder is never a bad thing. Hope you're well, David. So I'm gonna read this to you. Probably a text message from David's OFS in the Philippines. She says, well, he says, I don't know. He or she, I don't know. David. I don't know if you read my EOS report yesterday, but I said there that it's my daughter's birthday. I want to thank you for being a part of it. The money I use the party came from my last salary paycheck. I would not be able to pull through this small intimate gathering without you. So again, thank you. And it included two different pictures of the birthday party, which is quite a feast going on, and then big balloon, like individual letter balloons of Happy Birthday with the name. And the name is blurred out, which I appreciate that you blurred out that name. That's great. Yeah. Giant feast on the table. David says back to them, this makes my day. Thank you. So glad to be a part of the celebration, even if from far away. Look, your OFS wants to contribute to your business. They also want you to know that you've contributed to their lives. So let them know how they're contributing to your business. Let them know when they do a good job. Let them know the great things, the great work they do. Yesterday I had someone on my team do some. Do some really great analysis of a competitor, and they posted some templates that we can use that this competitor is doing really, really well. And so I said, hey, that was really great work. Thank you so much. Keep thinking, keep it up. And just that small thing is helpful. Obviously, there's more you can do. So then my question for you is, what milestones have happened in your OFS lives recently? Maybe you should ask. You might find out some interesting things.
