So this month I asked my team for a referral and here's what happened. So I asked my team for a referral this month because we were going to hire another customer support person. And I didn't know what to expect because I've been doing this for a long time. And in the past, typically when I ask my team for a referral, it would take them three weeks. And I've seen this over and over again. Why it takes them three weeks, I don't know exactly. But typically when you ask people, saying, like, hey, I want to hire someone to do some data entry for me, do you know anybody? It'll take them three weeks to find someone for you. So I think that's because they want to go to the people that they know and they want to make sure that person's going to be really good for you because they're really concerned about keeping their jobs. However, been doing this for a long time, and my team knows me and they know me well. And I'm sure they've gone over this with their friends over and over again and they've told their friends they have this boss. And so this time, what happened? I got inundated with people like, oh, my wife can work for you. Oh, my best friend. Oh, my husband. I got tons of referrals of people who my team says, these are good people who can work for you and they can do the job. So as you do this more and more, as you hire more VA's, it gets easier and easier to find really great people and you get better and better at it.
