A short YouTube conversation (hosted by John Jonas) describing his long experience hiring Filipino remote specialists. He recounts starting outsourcing in 2005, describes several team members and their roles (a manager for OnlineJobs.ph, Arlene — customer support; Avery — UI designer; Jessica — digital marketer with ~11 years service; Vince — backend programmer who built the messaging system and Timeproof tracking; Mark — front-end developer), and endorses recruiting directly via OnlineJobs.ph (noting it hosts nearly 2 million Filipino profiles). The tone is positive and encourages employers to recruit directly to find loyal, talented, hardworking staff.

I was thinking today about when I first got started outsourcing, which was 2005. This is the guy that started working.
For me back then and when he started he didn't know anything. He told me, sir, when I started working for you I didn't know anything and I was so scared. But then you started teaching me things, I started learning.
So just this week, that was 2005.
He still works for me today.
I made him the manager of onlinejobs Ph. So like he's in charge of our software.
He's not a software guy but he's.
Still really, really good at being detail oriented and taking care of stuff.
But then I was thinking about like.
The people I've hired since. So check this out. This is Arlene who is a customer support specialist. Like she's really, really good at doing customer support and if you contact our customer support people then you're probably going to get her responding to you.
At least there's.
We probably have six different people that'll do customer support. She's really, really good at it.
Or this is Avery who's our user interface designer.
So like if you're looking at onlinejobs ph he designed what you're looking at. Or if you're looking@1vaoa.com he designed it.
And he's pretty dang good at it.
Like he's a specialist at design specific design work.
Or this is Jessica.
So Jessica has worked for me for.
Probably 11 years and she's really good.
At digital marketing and she's in charge of a bunch of our digital marketing and it's really, really good for us.
This is Vince, who I don't remember.
Which major company we hired him away from, but he was working for a really big company as a programmer and Vince developed all of the backend for our messaging system Inside of onlinejobs Ph he also developed Timeproof which is the tracking system. Like he's a specialist programmer, he's really dang good at it. Or this is Mark who is our front end designer programmer.
Like anything that Avery designs and he has send it to Mark who implements.
The front end, the HTML, the CSS stuff, who sends it to Vince who then implements it in the back end integrated with onlinejobs ph I've come to realize like it's really, really easy to find talented, talented people in the Philippines.
Especially if you're willing to do the recruiting yourself. Like if you go to an agency they're willing to pull someone off the.
Street and give them to you.
If you're willing to do it yourself. Onlinejobs ph has 2 million, almost 2.
Million Filipino profiles of people looking to work.
And they're talented and they're loyal and.
They'Re hardworking, and it's really like a changing experience for your business.
