So here's how this, here's something interesting about the Philippines. So the 13th month is used to supply Christmas to their family. Oftentimes in the Philippines, companies start selling major things cheaper like appliances go on sale in December. They budget on for this money. They budget for the 13th month. They will plan on it. They know exactly where the money is going to be spent. They're just hoping that they get it from you.
So the later in December you send the money, the worse off they're going.
To be and the more they're going to worry, oh my gosh, I don't.
Know if it's coming or not.
What am I going to do for my family? What am I going to do for.
My kids and my parents earlier in the month you send it, the happier.
They'Re going to be.
Just so you know. So Today is like the 6th of.

If you want to send a Christmas bonus, that's awesome too send a Christmas bonus. We usually send 25 to $50 depending on how good our year was. And that's in addition to the 13th month. And so sometimes we send them both.
At the same time. Like we'll send it around December 5th or 10th and we'll send both of them and say, here's your 13th month.
Bonus and here's a Christmas bonus for you.
Other times We've sent the 13th month bonus around the 5th to the 10th.
And then we send the Christmas bonus around the 20th. Whatever you want to do doesn't really matter. They are separate things. The Christmas bonus completely not required.
It's a nice thing to do.
The 13th month bonus also not required because you're not bound by Philippines law. But it is something you definitely should do.
