I've always found that it's more of a personality thing that matters rather than a skill thing. There's lots of people with skills. How well does this person fit in my business as I talk with them, as I email with them, as I interview them? How well does that fit in my personality and our company culture? Because if someone doesn't fit, doesn't matter how good they are at their job, it's going to be a really hard working relationship.
