Should a real estate agent hire a virtual assistant? Hey, my name is John Jonas and I'm going to talk about should a real estate agent hire a virtual assistant? Reason number one, why you should hire a virtual assistant for your real estate agent is is it's so easy to get help in your business and it's so affordable. It's so simple to find a virtual assistant in the Philippines. It's super simple to find someone in the US More and more people are turning overseas. In fact, it's so simple to find someone in the Philippines. They have the realtor brand, so they're very well versed in how real estate works. It's so simple to find someone. So reason number two, why you should hire a real estate virtual assistant is because real estate as an agent, it's all about the high value tasks. If you're out there doing $8 an hour tasks and not doing the $300 an hour tasks, well, you know you're going to make an $8 an hour salary and a real estate virtual assistant can take over all of those $8 an hour tasks for you. So you can focus on the high value tasks. This is where you make your money. Focus on the things that make you money. So reason number three, you're in real estate to sell houses. You're not here to process paperwork or appointments. You're here to sell houses. Go sell houses. Those are the $300 an hour tasks. Don't do the $8 an hour tasks. So is there a situation where you should not hire a virtual assistant? Yes, there is. Here's a couple reasons. A couple situations where you should not. Number one, if you're just dabbling, like maybe you got your real estate license just to help sell your own home and maybe your friend's house, then you should not hire an assistant. Maybe you're not serious about this. You don't know if this is going to work out for you or you don't know if this is the right thing for you. You should not hire a virtual assistant. Another situation is you really need to control everything yourself. You can't stand letting anything go. You can't handle letting anybody else do anything for you and you require everything to be perfect. Then you should not hire a virtual assistant. Because with a virtual assistant, some things are going to be done better than you would do it. Some things aren't going to be done quite as well. It's probably not for you. So the last thing I want to talk about is why you need to hire a virtual assistant as an agent. So this is becoming more and more common. Agents are hiring virtual assistants every day. And if you're not hiring a virtual assistant, your competitors, other agents are doing things that you're not doing and you're falling further and further behind. It's getting harder and harder to to generate leads, to get listings, to sell houses. It's just getting harder and harder without that assistant there. The reason you need to is because everybody else is doing it. And it's the thing that will get you time back, which as an agent, time is the most important thing. And hiring a virtual assistant, especially one from the Philippines, which is so affordable, will get you time back so you can focus on more important things. They can manage so much for you.
