Should I hire a graphic designer? So the answer to this question usually depends on a couple things. Number one, how much design work do you have to get done? Now, along with that, let me give you some advice. Usually in most businesses that I've seen, if you're going to do a little bit of design work, there's more design work to be done. And so the answer to the question, should I hire a designer? Doesn't usually come until after you've hired the designer. Because before you've hired the designer, you keep putting off all kinds of design work. And when you hire someone, then you realize, oh, I have this, I need to design. Oh, I have this, I need to design. Oh, I have that thing I need. And then you find you have all kinds of stuff you need to design. The second part of should I hire a graphic designer? Is it's something that you can't do yourself. And so if you can't do it yourself, how are you going to get it done? You have to hire a graphic designer. Now, should you hire a full time designer or a part time designer? Well, that depends on how much work you have. For a long time. I found that I didn't need a designer and so I didn't hire one. And when I finally hired one, I realized I need two. There's so much design work that needs to get done. And I don't just need two graphic designers. I need a graphics designer and I need a user interface designer, because those are two different designers for me. And that's not always the case, but for me it was. So the third answer to should I hire a graphic designer? Is design work changes everything about your business. Like it changes the way customers will see your business, it changes the way you feel about your business. It changes the amount of work you'll put into things. Having good design changes the amount of customers you'll have. And so when you consider hiring a graphic designer, consider the effect that it will have on the bottom line of your business. And it's not immediately obvious, but over time, having good design in your business makes a really big difference. The fourth thing is you can hire such good designers who are so affordable in the Philippines, it really makes it hard not to hire a graphic designer. So you can hire a really good designer in the Philippines, let's say starting at like $600 a month for full time work, where they're going to be 40 hours a week working in your business, making things look better for you.
