Jana describes her daily routine: internship at the National Youth Commission (8am–5pm), helping her partner's family meat shop/barbecue (5pm–7pm), napping until 10pm, then working for her Maryland-based employer from 10pm–7am. She is a fourth-year AB Political Science student at Arliana University, interning while working remotely for over two years. Her employer runs a clinic (more than eight GPs) and a 36-week online training program for medical billers/coders; target clients include elderly people, high-school graduates, and stay-at-home parents. So aside from my partner's family business which is the meat shop, they also have here barbecue grill. So I'm grilling some food right now. Hi, my name is Jana. I'm an online Filipino specialist working as an administrative assistant for a medical training provider based in Maryland. I'm currently a fourth year college student taking AB Political Science in Arliana University and right now I'm taking up my internship at the National Youth Commission. I usually assist my employer with her day to day tasks such as managing emails and calendar and cater phone calls as needed. I am actually doing an email for our email marketing. So this is going to be live in a few hours. Aside from that, I also do social media posts and graphics on the side for her business events and collaboration. So the clinic that I work for has an upcoming event and my employer wants me to try putting some logos in a cup and checking if this will match her preference. So I'm gonna present this to her later on in our shift. I'm so excited. My employer's business has two components. One is they have clinic which they have more than eight general practitioners. And then the other side of her business is they are a training provider for aspiring medical billers and medical coders. The program takes 36 weeks of online classes. The main target of our business are elderly people, high school graduates and stay at home parents. 90% of medical coders work remotely. We highlighted them. You can earn California wages while still living in Maryland. For my usual routine, I start attending my internship from 8am to 5pm From 5pm to 7pm I start helping with my boyfriend's family business which is the meat shop. We are currently in Galas Market, Quezon City and I'm with my partner Gerald so they own this business. We are in the meat section where you can see variety of cuts. So we have here pork chop and then two kinds of longanisa. We have vegan and tagalog. We also have here ground pork and we also sell beef. The reason why people buy here is because they get fresh meats. It's slaughtered earlier today, not frozen and no preservatives at all. So aside from the meat shop, they also have here barbecue grill. So I'm grilling some food right now they are selling Aliempo which is also known as the pork belly, chicken head, chicken gizzard, chicken intestine, pig's ear and also pork intestine. Then I do my quick nap until 10pm Then from 10pm to 7am that's when I work for my employer in Maryland. I've been working with my employer for more than two years now. She's not just a boss for me, but she's also a friend. I want to give my huge thanks to onlinejobs PH because first I was able to put myself through college and second is I am now able to give financial support to my two younger siblings in elementary and in senior high school.
