Posted the exact same job on upwork. And I just saw, you know, people were coming in much higher than I'm used to. I just wanted to create a video, kind of give you guys an idea of what it is like between upwork and online jobs as far as posting jobs and pretty much more so of what you could expect as far as salaries are concerned or the paying payments being requested by the individuals. Posted the exact same job on upwork. And I just saw, you know, people were coming in much higher than I'm used to. You know, thanks to John Jonas, I've actually been following him for about 11 years. I know that the virtual assistant salaries aren't at $5 an hour and $6 an hour. You know, at least the starting assistants, you know, they usually a lot lower than that over there, at least. And that's their going rate. It's not like, you know, that's the rate that they request because that to them is a good salary or a good income. So just wanted to kind of get that out there. Let me show you over here. Here we go. Basically a job posting. So it's virtual for administrative tasks for a record label. And here on upwork, I've got 21. Again, this is a cut and paste. I just cut it out of upwork and then about actually maybe four or five hours later, after I post on upwork, I cut and paste it over to online jobs. So 21 submissions altogether and I've got them sorted by lowest hourly rate. So the lowest person is coming in at 350. Of course, she's in the Philippines. But as you see, her job success maybe isn't the greatest. Then you starting at somebody from Bangladesh, $4, $5. And then it just continues up, up, up, up and up. Out of those 21, you know, it just continues all the way up from there. So you get the picture there. You kind of see what's going on. I'm actually on the site. I'll hit F5 just so you don't think, you know, I'm making this up. Look, there it is. It's refreshing. Same job. And in my job posting, I don't. That's not really relevant what it says. It's just administrative tasks, replying to customer emails and things like that. Okay, so let's move over to online jobs. Now. This is my posting. Here it is. Virtual assistant needed for administrative tasks. For record, 63 people have applied for the job. Now this thing lets you bookmark applicants. So I bookmarked the ones that I like the most. But let's just go from the top here to just start showing you here. 388 bucks at 40 hours a week. 380 bucks. So that's less than $100 a week. So what is that, like two something. $2 and something per hour right there. Now remember over there we only had one person that was at the three something mark. Okay, let's go to this next person. Somebody just came in there. Okay, a new person applied. So let's go to this one, Christina. Okay, so this one person came in higher than normal. So there you go. So here's the. The very following person. There it goes again. $388 for the whole month. That's 40. That's 160 hours total. Okay, so that's like two something, you know, just under three hours an hour or something like that. Next person. Four hundred and eighty five for the month. Forty hours. Okay. Between five hundred and eighty two and six hundred and seventy nine. That's a little bit higher. This person is probably a little bit more qualified, has more experience. Look at that again. 388 again. 388 again. Now this person is 30 hours. Not sure how that works. I'm kind of new to the site, to be honest. 30 hours. Let's land at the next 40 hour person. 40 hours. 388. 30 hours. So you kind of get the point. If you're looking for less expensive, you know, virtual assistants, that's the place. I mean, basically, it's just. There's no question about it. And there's also different fields in here. I haven't used it for the other things yet. This is the only thing I've used it for. But I just figured I'd share that with you guys. So you know what's going on. I'm a big upwork person. I've been using upwork for a long time. I'll be honest. And I have a crazy feedback. I don't even know if I could show it here. Let's see here. View posting I have been just so that you see that I'm not trying to boast online jobs by sub is. Look at this. 18 reviews. 4.98 and 32 hires. Over 20,000 spent and members since 2010. So it's 2019. So nine years I've been using obviously was odesk and elance. It was a bunch of other stuff before. But my point is not just trying to brag and boast about online jobs. I'm just trying to give you. If you're looking for specific things. Upwork will be good for that. Like, I still have staff here at Upwork, but there are certain jobs I've shown up that are just like very basic stuff that any, any entry level virtual assistant can do. Like, mostly can. The replies copy and paste and it's just a no brainer. Like I'm, you know, I'm just floored. So. John Jonas, thank you for rocking out with this site. And this thing has grown tremendously. I can't believe it's 60, 64 now. It actually changed as we start the video. Just awesome.
