Why have employers resorted to outsourcing? Hey, my name is John Jonas and I created onlinejobs Ph and today I'm talking about why have employers resorted to act outsourcing. So I think this is less of a why are they resorting to outsourcing? Than it is what are the benefits of outsourcing and what are they getting from this that looks so different in terms of why are they resorting to outsourcing? Well, often you can't find the help you need locally. And going overseas with it is easier to find the help that you need. You can find skills that you maybe can't find locally or it's not easy to find locally and then that person's working virtually, which is cheaper to work virtually. You don't pay insurance, you don't have office space, you don't have utilities. There's all kinds of cost benefits of not having someone in your office. There's also mental benefits for employers where you don't have to worry about. In the US there's so much regulation around employees that when you go hire a virtual worker overseas, when you outsource, you don't deal with those regulations anymore. You don't have lawsuits, you don't have tax wages, you don't have sexual assault or harassment. You don't have any of that when you've gone overseas with it. So the other side of why employers resorted to outsourcing is you get a really good experience if you do it right. If you do it the right way, if you hire someone in the right place with the right skills, you not only save money, but doing it. I would say that in the Philippines you can find someone full time for between 500 and 1500 dollars a month who is like a skilled programmer or someone to run Facebook ads for you. All of that like very talented people in that range. Where in the US it's hard to find someone that you're going to trust that can do your social media marketing for you, who's not going to be way overpriced in the Philippines, you know that you're not going to get ripped off by pricing. Now, obviously there's some trust issues that people haven't figured out yet. But if you, once you do this, you realize, oh my gosh, I trust these people in the Philippines more than I trust people locally to do this. Now, obviously it's going to take you some time before you do that, but most employers realize after they've done this a little bit that, wow, I trust these people overseas. Even more than I trust local people. And that's another reason why they're resorting to outsourcing. So there's a whole bunch of reasons why employers outsource. Usually it starts with cost savings. Eventually it moves into like. It becomes easier for you. It becomes easier to maintain, it becomes easier to find people. There's all kinds of stuff going on. So my name is John Jonas.
