Why you need to do the hiring yourself #ytshort

On my team of 40 people who I've hired over the years, one by one, we have a ton of different personalities. Some people like to work on their own, some people prefer to be. They're better in teams, and we find that out in the interview process. Some are early birds, some are night owls, some need a lot of hand holding, and some work best completely on their own. Some are outspoken, some are shy, introverted, and you can't know these types of things without doing the interviewing yourself, doing the hiring yourself. You're like, twice as likely to end up with a good person if you do it yourself versus if I did it for you or if my team did it for you.
