One question we're often asked is, as a web design company, why do we also specialize in videos and photo? Well, in addition to web design, one of our other services is search engine optimization and internet marketing. And one of the cornerstones of any good marketing campaign is the imagery that is used. The images and moving images in any marketing promotional piece communicate to the clients often more than the text that's in those promotional items. For that reason, you really want professionally taken photos and well-done videos to communicate your message to your client professionally. We shoot our photos with a Nikon D5100 DSLR camera, and we shoot our videos as well in HD using that same camera at 1080. One of the ways that you're going to be able to leverage these images and these videos is the building of your social media channels. Images and videos help the shareability and virality of any of your content exponentially. So if you're interested in sharing on Facebook, and of course who's not interested in doing that, then you're going to want high-quality video to accompany your posts so that your clients are able to see visually and at a glance what your post is about. You can also use high-quality photos to help enhance any post. A great example is a roofer that we worked with recently who wanted to illustrate some of the issues around leaks and what causes some of the leaks, and he was able to use high-quality photos of his jobs where there were actual instances of damage to the roof to beautifully illustrate his point.
