In this life, I don't know nothing at all. I don't know nothing at all. I get sentimental when I look around, look at the view.
There's something existential in the way that I'm falling for you. It's my first time doing this too.
This train is for Waterfront. Wait, is that fake grass? Yeah, it's just turf. Wow.
Oh my God, my first impression is like it looks like a museum.
Wait, oh my God, oh my God, I love the study, like, yeah. It gives you like kind of double the—
so wow, oh my God, is that a Canadian goose? Can I do a little wave?
I haven't seen tall buildings like this so far.
Hey guys, so it is the next day. I'm on my way to Jericho Beach to do a 10K. I'm really excited. The reason why I came to Vancouver initially was for this race. I wanted, like, I needed more of an excuse to come here, so I signed up.
Oh my God, thank you!
I am about to be interviewed by CTV News Kitchener.
Guys, this is insane! What inspired you to take this leap and create this, essentially an application, but in the video form?
I've always been big on documenting my life and sharing my journey in public. And actually, I started this like idea of job searching in public back in last summer when I was searching for my third co-op. But then, back then, I was only vlogging me applying to jobs, and I was only posting on YouTube, so that didn't really work. And so this time I was like, you know what, I want to try something similar, but this time I want to focus on posting my journey on LinkedIn mostly, and also X, just because I feel like I would have gotten a better reach with that. And during all this time too, because content creation, because video creation has always been a big passion of mine, I've never, I've never wanted to stop doing it. And job search, as you know, like takes takes so much time with school on top of it. It's very hard and can get very overwhelming. And so trying to find a way to combine my passion and my hobby into something that feels so daunting and feels so challenging, it just made things feel a lot more effortless and a lot more exciting because I was able to continue working, continue doing my passion while also doing something that was a big thing in my life— trying to find a career that I'm going to be doing a very long time. Like, that's that's such a big pressure that's put on you. And so trying to make it easy for you, and for me, consecration just made it easy.
Thank you for making time, and yeah, best of luck! Thank you, okay, bye! Thanks so much. Bye!
Shopify doesn't seem to have any marketing internships. University of Waterloo student set her sights on Canadian e-commerce company Shopify. Detailing her experience. Yeah, I do! Literally. Going from viral video to team member in less than a day isn't just a good story, it's how we operate when we spot exceptional talent that embodies our values, especially from innovation hubs like Waterloo. Hi everyone, so I am heading to the bus stop right now and I'm gonna go to UBC campus because I want to buy myself a sweatshirt, a UBC BC sweatshirt. That's been like one on my to-do list for, for this Vancouver trip. So it's my final full day of Vancouver, so I really have to take advantage and explore as much as I can. These past few days have been insane. Like, I feel like I haven't had the time to fully explore the city because there's just so much happening online, but I'm trying to dedicate a little bit more time to the outdoors and really stay away from my screen as much as I can. I do need to publish an article, so that's going to be on the to-do, but Other than that, I'm going to just explore, relax, and have some fun. I'll take you guys along with me. So just came into the UBC bookstore. It is actually so gigantic. The one we have at my university is a lot smaller and there's so much like different like sweaters and clothes. Guys, I also want to get sweatpants, but they're like so expensive. Both sweaters like $70 and sweatpants are like $50. It's going to cost me $100, over $100. I think I'm gonna be buying this sweater. Honestly, it's just— there's something about it that I really love. The fact that it says ABC too. So yeah, I'm going to get this letter.
Thank you, Julia Fedorin. Here you go. Thank you so much. Enjoy it.
I love peanut butter.
And this is called pasoka, which is basically dried peanut butter, but it's like ground up.
And you add water?
No, no, no, you just sprinkle it on like, like, like peanut butter dust.
Oh, it's like cookie crumbs.
Yes.
Guys, I just made it to downtown Vancouver. Oh my gosh. And then I'm just gonna explore the city. I definitely love the big city vibes.
