My name is Julie and this podcast will teach you everything you need to know about creating and growing your laptop life. Hello. Hello people of the Internet, Hope you are doing amazing today. I would like to talk to you about 10 seemingly benign problems that will actually destroy your chances of reaching that coveted million dollar mark unless you decide today that they have no place in your life. If you follow me on Facebook, you follow me anywhere on the interwebs, you may have seen this post. I did it in the clickfunnels group and on my page and I tried to come up with the 10 things that I have seen regularly block people from making progress towards the 2 comma club. Because let's face it, the 2 comma club. Making a million dollars today is easier than it's ever been before. I mean, when you think about how many resources are at our fingertips when, when you think about how easy it is for someone to bootstrap something. Whereas before the Internet you were tied to your geographic location or you had to use something like a commercial on tv, you need a production team and a ton of money. And now we've got this thing called the Internet and everything is so much easier, right? And so the fact of the matter is making millions and making your own way is more attainable for the average person today than ever before in human history. And we have, you know, basically the world has shrunk so that you can get instant access to the entire planet. Whether it's you need a specialist or professional service provider, you need customers, you are not limited at all. And we have crazy tools like ClickFunnels and Canva and WordPress and all these tools that like require no experience or coding and produce digital assets that rival custom made websites and graphic design graphics. Okay, so on top of that we've got the info product like Overload, right, where there's more access, sometimes even free access on places like blogs and communities, YouTube, podcasts. The truth is, if you haven't made a million dollars yet, there's probably reasons that are in your control and that should be really good news because Reasons that are in your control can be fixed, can be solved, right? It's not like the universe is, you know, happening to you. So I wrote up this list. It's a super short list, but I think if you could eliminate these 10 things from your life, you would see massive momentum. So the list is the 10 seemingly benign problems that will destroy your chances of reaching a million dollars unless you decide today that they have no place in your life. And number one, probably the biggest one, is perfectionism, an unwillingness to fail fast and frequently. If you are a perfectionist, you will wait too long. Most people who make money do it because they learn valuable things about their failures along the way that you cannot learn any other way. If you are a perfectionist, good luck. Number two is stubbornness, and this is the inability to let go of an idea that isn't working because you're so attached to it. You're attached to I need to do a membership or you're attached to I need to write this book on this particular topic. Even if the market is telling you no, they're not interested, you're unwilling to let it go and try something new. Stubbornness will keep you attached to terrible, bankrupt, laden ideas for way longer than you should be. Number three, Shiny object syndrome. The thought, right? The thought that there is a golden nugget or a magic bullet somewhere, that if you just find it, you will. Because the problem is you won't. You never will find the magic bullet, right? Because there is no magic bullet. There is no golden nugget, right? There are tried and true systems and processes and formulas that people have laid out again and again and again, and all of them are a little bit different. But I guarantee if you just follow one of them and actually take imperfect action, you. You will find yourself getting so much farther along in the journey. Number four, endless learning, right? This is the way we fool ourselves into thinking that we're getting somewhere when actually we're still in bed just dreaming instead of actually doing. You know, I call this planning masturbation, where it's just like you're just obsessed with the planning of it, right? And you just love that phase. It's. It's in a vacuum. And I actually have a podcast episode somewhere about the dangers of planning and how it can distract us from actually doing. And endless learning is one of those things. Number five, relational bankruptcy. People who forget that business equals people. And you will be successful so much faster when you start thinking about finding the who for your how. And if you've heard Russell Brunson talk about this. It's this idea, like, we have a vision and a dream. And when we hit our first roadblock, our question typically is, oh, how do we fix this? When the question really should be, who can help me fix this? Because business is people. Number six, being cheap, Growing businesses, they eat time and money, three meals a day. If you starve your business by being cheap, it will never survive. Businesses eat money like it's going out of style. And that is normal and that is regular, and that is okay. So the faster you figure out funnels, the faster you figure out the way to liquidate your ad spend and the cost to acquire a customer, the faster you're going to grow. Number seven, fear. Everything that you want is on the other side of it. Everything you're afraid of. Chances are when you push through that the thing that you want is right on the other side. And number eight, busyness. Just because you're busy does not mean you're being productive. And if you guys have been listening to this podcast or up on my blog@juliestoyan.com, i have been giving you basically my premium content on productivity for free because I understand just how important productivity is to actually getting to your goals. So just because you're busy, just because your to do list is long does not mean you're getting closer to your goals. It's about strategic efficiency. Number nine, your money crap. Deal with it or it'll deal with you. The way you look at money, the way you handle money, the way you spend money will directly impact the way people look, handle, and spend money with you. It is like a law of the universe. If you want people to spend more with you in higher ticket, go spend more money in higher ticket. Get past those money blocks. And number 10, corner cutting. Growth hacking is different than cheating. Okay? Growth hacking is learning the fastest strategy to get that explosive growth. Cheating is copying bait and switch or losing your morals along the way to get a desired result. And no matter how fast you make that money, I guarantee you will fastly lose it as well. So Those are the 10 seemingly benign problems that are going to destroy your chances of success. Perfectionism, stubbornness, shiny object syndrome, endless learning, relational bankruptcy, being cheap. Fear, busyness, your money crap, and corner cutting. If you take action, We've got basically 10 months left of this year, and you spend one month just working on destroying each one of those issues in your life. I guarantee you will be 10 times ahead of where you are today. Thanks so much, guys. Have a great week. If you're ready to create, grow, scale your online business.
