In this informal holiday livestream recorded on December 25, 2023, the host (Speaker A) welcomes viewers, wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, and introduces a community‑building initiative centered on the Abundant Permaculture map (abundantpermaculture.com/map and pumpchurchcross.com/map). The host walks through the map’s directory, explains how to sign up with just an email, and highlights its purpose: connecting people for farm‑sitting, butchering buddies, pet sales, and other local resource exchanges. The livestream also launches a "12 Days of Christmas" giveaway series, running daily at 2 p.m. from December 26 to January 6 (excluding Saturdays). Each day a random location selector will choose a participant nearest to a highlighted spot, awarding donated items such as gardening tools, hoses, and a poultry net system from sponsors like McMurray Hatchery and Premier One. The host sets an ambitious goal of 10,000 map users, promising a special surprise if achieved, and encourages viewers to spread the word. Casual conversation about cinnamon rolls, steak, and the production crew provides a friendly, festive atmosphere throughout.

Oh, we're there. Okay. Oh, we're locked there. Okay, let's flip it around. Okay, we're live. We're letting folks get on. Josiah, will you hold this one? Rebecca is making cinnamon rolls.
I know.
Uh, she's saying these are, uh— who's got Instagram? We got Instagram and YouTube. Josiah, you come closer so they can definitely hear us. Uh, you said normally people make cinnamon rolls in the morning.
Yes, normally people make them for breakfast, but I'm weird and I, um, don't think you should eat sugar in the morning.
We're gonna have them for supper. We're getting on here, so we're gonna eat them after dinner. We wanted to give everybody a Merry Christmas. We wanted to— you guys are part of the family, so we wanted to say Merry Christmas. We're hoping you're having a good one. She's making cinnamon rolls for dinner. We're going to be eating steak. We're ribeyes and fettuccine Alfredo. So new for us, but by the sound of it, I hope that is a new tradition. Anyway, we've probably got everybody that's coming on, on, uh, wanted to let you guys know we have a Christmas gift for you. We want you to be able to, uh, be found and find community, because that's the secret sauce for what we're really doing here. What we're really about is relationships. It's okay if that's what Jonah's saying. That's— is that the video is playing over there? It's okay, it's quiet, right? Okay, cameraman Jonah over here on YouTube and cameraman Josiah on Instagram. So anyway, without further ado, um, go to abundantpermaculture.com map. And we have a directory for you guys where you can— let's go, actually, let's show the directory real quick while we're over here. Oh, that's going to be meta if the live is going. Come on over here. Um, I'm gonna look up this map here, guys. Let's walk through it together. So go to— guys, come show what I'm doing here. So I'm going to go to pumpchurchcross.com/map. Of course, on YouTube the link is in the description, and of course on Instagram the link is in the bio. You go to this map, uh, my goal is to get to— let's— hey, um, what do I always say? Aim for the impossible and extraordinary things will happen. Let's get 10,000 people on this map. I mean, the more the merrier. It's one of those things, the more the people are on there the better it is. We already do have it somewhat populated because we opened it up to Abundance Plus first, and now we're opening it up to the general community. Like, look at all these people over here in America. Can you guys see that? I don't think— can you see it? There is somebody in Hawaii, okay? And say, say you're in North Carolina, in western North Carolina. A lot of people on the East Coast here. Just zoom in and find somebody. Find a farm sitter, find a butchering buddy, find somebody to sell your puppies to, find somebody to, uh, get some steers. And so, um, if you're over here in North Carolina, in my area, look, there's like half a dozen people here already. Uh, so you just— to get this, you just sign in with your email to have an account. That's all you need. You don't need a password or anything, just email. And list yourself. You can list as much or as little as you want. And I would suggest, because over the— guys, there's more than one day of Christmas. Is— are you agreeing to that? Are you having a hard time? Uh, we can come back over here and have beautiful one in the shot. So no, she says. Okay, um, there are 12 days. Come, come closer, Instagram, because you don't have a mic. There are 12 Days of Christmas. And so every day of these 12 Days of Christmas, we're going to be promoting the, the community, um, the community map. And to do so, I'm going to give away things every single day of the 12 days. And to do that, I'm going to do a random location selector, and we're going to locate something and pick the person closest to that and give away things. Things like hose, things like, um, like tools like gardening tools. Uh, McMurray Hatchery has donated some stuff. Uh, Premier One has, has given a whole poultry net system. There's all kinds of goodies in here, some of my favorite tools. Jonah's getting tired. We're going to get off of here soon. You guys can look and see what Rebecca's done here. So bear— go with me, guys. Let's have this goal together. Let's get 10,000 people on this. You guys think of how we can do it. I'll do something crazy if we get to 10,000. Uh, I don't know what it is. Maybe you guys will think of it. We'll spend more time on these lives over the next few days. So 2 o'clock every day till January 6th is 12 Days of Christmas. We're not going live on any Saturdays, but we'll, we'll have a community post on YouTube and on Instagram. But anyway, this is looking good, Rebecca. We want to wish everybody a Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! We hope you have a wonderful day today.
Okay. Merry Christmas, everybody. You both, uh, abundantpermaculture.com/map. Okay, do you guys know how to turn these off? Right there, or the X? That, yep.
