Go sit at the table and eat. Call me when you're ready to come. Munzo and Roy are a little thrown off by the egg. I thought they would like it. La la la la la, let me be free. We have lots of extra eggs, so the chickens get those bonuses. Uh-oh, Billy, are they already done milking? There they are. Have you guys milked? Happy Sunday seed day. This family setting out to grow their own food for our health and longevity. Today, an entire entire day without distractions to work on the farm. We're moving— oh, there's one of them. We're moving the cows, we're moving the bromance. They need to be working on a different pasture and proving it with a hay bomb. Where's the milk? Where's the milk? Where's the milk? Where's the milk? What? Where? Where is it? Okay, where is it? Okay, we were gonna do yogurt, remember? We're gonna get it while it's warm to make yogurt. Let's get that milk before it cools off too much. Okay, I'm coming over. I'm getting this milk. Uh, it's still kind of warm. It's not the end of the world though because this is all the milk we're getting these days with only one cow. I like to at least do 2 gallons, so we're gonna have to heat up cold milk anyway, so it's just fine. Oh my, you guys want to see Rebecca tickled? She's been looking for this pot. She's been looking for this pot like crazy. Why is it over here? Carry 2 gallons of milk, a pot, and a camera. Like a little patchy because they got the pot. I wish I had the side-by-side right now. You got— uh, just gotta get the electricity and then we're good to move. Got water to them too? Almost. I just gotta turn it on. Really? They had them yet? What? Have you fed them yet? This is handy, the egg basket. You like my hat? Oh my gosh, where did you find it? Where do you think I found it? I don't know, not, not where it's supposed to be. There it is, over at the farmhouse on the burner, cleaning the oven. Trying. You must have been happy before we found that. Millie, that's it. You took it over there to, uh, heat up the sheep's milk, didn't you, for the bottle feeding? How they doing? Henry, get in! We're ready, let's go! Oh boy, giddy up, ready to hurt. Want me to get you in the Ergo? Oh wow, okay. We've got to get the bromance back up onto the mountain. This was their extreme cold weather paddock. Mostly our beef. There's 6 beefs in there. Y'all ready? Get in. You want to run in behind? I'm gonna shoo them out. Is he nervous? I don't know. You're gonna lead them? No, it's not what was the plan. Careful, Jonah, you're gonna stop the attitude. Uh-oh, catch him around— go from going around the pond. All's going well so far. We have no controls other than ourselves, so they could split and go anywhere, like those guys going down the trail. We want them to go up along the forest line to their paddock way over there. Let's go. Hey, hey, there we go. It might have been a mistake to not feed them yet. How you holding up? Come on, Lily. Watch them. Hey, go way down below them, Lily. They're gonna head down that hill so fast. There you go, Gideon. Good job. Go. Oh, they don't want to go uphill. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Next time I'm wondering if it'd be worth it. Put some lanes up. It's a long way, though. Got some itch. Slow down, slow down, slow down, slow it. Hey, slow. Don't let them go down that road. Get in. Oh, here they come down. There you go, there you go. No, no, no, pay attention to the herd, Jonah. They stopped at the minerals. We're gonna let them have them for a minute. We're almost there. Of course, Stud Nothing broke from the group. He fled way down the mountain. All right, I've let them have their minerals. Let's go. You should let them go down the hill. Come on. Come on. It looks like the sheep have bonded with the cows because they follow them. Here they come. They went in. Now we just gotta go stud muffin. Didn't you just stand up in there and not let them come out? Okay, we're going. If we put the triangle on behind him, we'll be fine. Peach has escaped in all the excitement. There you go. Let's go. No, no, let's go. He's gonna want to go right, Josiah. Too tall for you, huh, Josie? Up the road, you know. You know, hey, don't let him hit these bushes, Johnna. Let's go. Yeah, there you tore it up. A third one. Let him tear up the boxwoods. We don't want those. He knows, he knows exactly what we want. Uh-oh, don't let him go around the house. Cut him off, Josiah. Actually, let's get him up to that top guy. Oh, he's got him a rub. Look, see that water in this pathway? It's working, it's working as a swell. We're slowing down the water before it just all escapes. Down there to the road. He's moseyed on up here. He's about to go in. We're the endurance animals, he's not. Eventually he gives out. He's in! This is a paddock that we recently made into pasture. I don't know, going on 2 years ago. It's not been growing that great, so we're gonna hay bomb it. We're gonna take advantage of the winter needing to feed hay. We'll add the organic matter of the hay, concentrates their manure in one spot, and hopefully it'll bring this grass back like crazy this spring. Henry, you did good. I enjoyed you riding on my back during that. These ergo days are numbered. Better enjoy them while I got them. Feeding them a little alfalfa since they just had babies. They could use the protein. Add some protein, take some ice cubes, dip them in protein, throw them in the mix, then add some protein. And then, and only then, can you add some protein and blend. Does she look kind of skinny to you? I don't know if we should be milking her or not. The alfalfa will help. What'd you say? Look, you see, they get skinny after that. Yeah, look at Floppy. She is great with child. I mean, you got in there, Floppy. And where's Belle? This is Belle. And what about this one? Has this one had its baby yet? You went down, Mr. Henry. We've been summoned to eat, but looks like the door slinged open on the high tunnel. Chickens are out. The chickens are out. I gotta go get them in real quick. They're all missing it. So many chickens out right now. Here they come. Don't worry too much much about the goose. Wow, they make a liar of us. Oh yeah, he just screwed her up. Look at those. My mouth's been watering for this breakfast since 20 minutes ago. She called us. Ah, thank you for holding my hand. Cherish this moment. One handheld, one on my back. You bless your mother when you go in. How do you play? You say something else. Look what I've been enjoying, Becky. Look what I've been enjoying. Woo, I feel light. What'd you make us, Dar? Eggs, bacon, eggs, bacon, grits, sausage, cabbage, leftover pancakes. I love breakfast for lunch. You like breakfast for lunch? And we have lots of it. I also put egg in your broth. I'm taking broth every meal to heal my gut, and we made an egg drop soup that takes it to another level. Did you salt this? I did not. I like this Utah sea mineral liquid salt. You guys did add one of them. I don't know what it was, but I got real excited when she told me you could put an egg in the broth. And now there's this thing called egg drop soup. You got the best. I need to be an egg drop soup master. Becca just said it's her best bacon yet. What'd you do, you put a maple sugar on it? Maple syrup. Oh, you did maple syrup. It's uncured bacon. Like, curing bacon, it's overrated. You don't have to mess with uncuring. This afternoon, a special project. They started this 20 minutes ago. I was scrambling to get the cameras and they're already getting it. You want it wider than this? And then it probably ought to slope a little bit. Oh, it'll— he'll need to let it slope. Grandma, Rebecca's mom, if you don't know, has ALS and it is progressing to the point that she's not going to be able to walk downstairs pretty soon. So you're going to build a ramp right there, big daddy? Yeah, you need a little bit more here. Yeah, as you can see You can see this was sloped up like that, and in order to get a car up, we're gonna want it flat. So he's building a platform. Come down through here, this will be a driveway. We're really happy right now. One, for these boys. Two, for these machines. What do you think? Should we get rid of this big stump? It's rotting. Jonas said a good grader quits at 3. He quit. He got a lot done, didn't he, big daddy? He did. We're gonna put a retainer wall up, seems like. That's his idea. It was a good idea. Coming tomorrow. This needs to be extended this way. Is this marking how far out you want him to go? Yeah, good idea. Mark it out. For dinner, Rebecca and I are collabing. We're gonna try spaghetti squash as noodles with— is it fettuccine, Rebecca, or Alfredo? Alfredo. Roasted chicken. I guess I have a hack because this is done in just 30 minutes. I mean, look how that turned out. It's gonna work. It's a thing. We wouldn't know if this is a thing. It's not a thing in our house, but maybe it will be. That would mean a lot to us because this time next year we would have grown our own spaghetti squash. Does it work, Mom? I think it does. I think it actually tastes pretty good. What do you think, kids? They haven't all had it. Jonah's about to try it. It's okay. I mean, it's really good. On a 1 to 10? 7. I mean, where would you put noodles? That's a 7. Oh, the noodles aren't strong. The noodles are perfection. Yeah, okay, like what we had on Christmas. Yeah, so good. No, it doesn't get no better than that. Food doesn't get any better. That is the best food in the world. I'm with Rebecca, 7.
