The excerpt is an informal two-person outdoor/gardening vlog-style exchange: SPEAKER A narrates efforts and setbacks preparing a season's brassica planting (water on a silage tarp, overflowing water, deeply rooted weeds, laying drip irrigation and weed fabric) and reflects on progress and plans to resume planting; SPEAKER B contributes brief, colloquial interjections. The content focuses on troubleshooting planting prep and farm/garden chores.

Chapters

Today I wanted to set out a year's worth of brassicas, but we got sideswiped by all kinds of obstacles. First, chores. Oh no, our water's overflowing. Then there was water on the silage tarp when we went to remove it. There is a ton of water on this. If I'm going up that way with it, it's all going to wash— it's going to wash my carrots out. There were all these weeds that were still under it, deeply rooted. Grab some of these bigger weeds. Gotta get them out by the roots, Birdo. Had to figure out how the drip irrigation is gonna work. It has instructions. Okay.
Don't use the instructions. Be a man.
And just after I figured out the drip irrigation, laid it down, I got out the weed fabric. It was blowing off in the wind.
I just lost all my work.
This evening, it's still blown off. I did hope to be planting today, and that's a disappointment, but I am happy that I figured things out. There's no more questions. Now I know exactly how to do it, and tomorrow should go really smooth.
