That's my new do-it-yourself chicken tractor for $701, and that's if you had to buy every single thing— screw, board, panel. It's a 40 by 8 foot structure, 2 feet tall. White corrugated panel for roofing and sides. Half-inch wire mesh for circulation, air exposure, sun exposure. Ripped 2x4s, cedar, rot resistant, lightweight, non-toxic. Latches and carabiners throughout. Eye hooks for tugging and pulling. Standard egg crates for nest boxes. That is all 4 little chickens need if you keep them closed in all the time as a tractor, or you can open this handy dandy— they're on a raised bed, so this is high up— you could let them out, preferably into a poultry net. Chicken Tractor 2.0, plans coming to homesteadbuilds.com.
