Victor Justin Rhodes shows how to build a pig pen that doubles as a compost system. Pigs bedded on wood chips naturally stir manure and chips together as they move around, creating finished compost you can harvest by moving the shed.

Pigs are happy, honking their shoes. They've been stirring the deep bedding in the new pig port. We just put our first pitchfork of wood chips on. We have our shed. Look at this. We built our shed and we're piling up wood chips under there to stay dry so they can absorb that manure and urine and just, just a little bit every day to cover up their holy pig squat. And this will build up, and by the time we move them off, we'll have a good mixture of poop and wood chips, and they would have turned it, so air. And then you take off one side, move the pig port out of the way, and then we can access the material to turn it, turn it into compost, or to use as mulch, both of which would go on the garden.
