Happy day! We've been hay bombing with some of our damaged hay and we're out of it. We're done. That's just such a bomb, so thick. There's no way that over time this won't grow back better than it was, and this was a cruddy part of our pasture. Josiah, always we're piling up rocks, we're piling up rocks little bit by little bit. You got honey or vanilla? I got honey. And I've lost my phone. Took a picture of the sheep and the cow together right there, put in my back pocket. I wonder if it wasn't in good. I chased Honey back in right here. Vanilla went along through here, so I chased her down to bring her back, and I've walked the 100 feet not once but twice. Rebecca, Rebecca, can you call my phone? I've dropped it out here and don't know where it's at. I don't even think I have it on. I have that on airplane mode. Don't want to be nuking my butt. And he's coming with Rebecca's phone. We have an app called Life360 which we're able to track each other. It's more for when Jonah's out and about in town. Not that Jonah wouldn't go where he wasn't supposed to be in like a rebellion, but more in like misunderstood, lost kind of way. Smiley one to the rescue. Where do we go? Where do we go? Ah, it's like we're right on top of it.
Oh, we're on top of it.
We're on top of it somewhere. Uh, yeah, I thought it might be on Sally, but we moved her drastically. The tracking did not go with her. Yeah, maybe I was a little further over there when I got Honey in. Shows it right here. I mean, I can't get right on top of this for some reason. We'll shrink trim some of these places. Because maybe it's buried in the grass. Y'all come help me. Gideon's here. Everybody's here. Thank you. Oh, you got your legs on backwards. I think it would just be right on top. Did not want to be making a movie about finding an iPhone today. I wanted to be helping Josiah clear. What? There it is.
Yes!
And he gets the reward. We are like 150 feet from where it was saying. I told Annie I did not want to make a movie about finding an iPhone. And she's like, well, so many people can relate to that. And now relate with the feeling of finding something that was lost. Hey, I like your haircut, dude.
Yeah, I have a haircut.
You got one too? Yeah, I like yours too. Let's see if we have water. Nope, the line's busted somewhere. We need to get our gravity-fed water line secure. The fallen tree didn't help. Okay, see, there's water coming off the mountain right here, right? That's not enough to fill up a tank. The water's not running that fast. We haven't had a lot of rain. But if, if this isn't breached here, the tank fills up and then we have plenty of pressure. I mean, we have 220 gallons in that tank. It's stuck in there. There's no way. Nope. Oh, this is pulling a little bit. Oh yeah. How much more do I have to pull? Can I pull? I don't want to pull the hose off, break it. Look at there, Gideon. That's enough. That's all we needed. I kind of would like to bypass that. I could even bypass that. All right, let's do it. Thank you, thank you. I love having your help so much. Thank you. Oh, I appreciate that so much. You're such a good helper. Well, boys, we fixed it. Made it a little simpler just to Male to male, we took out one of the shut-offs. Now this is going to fill up with water, and let's hope it's not going to just break somewhere else. I fixed it in like half a dozen places. The goal down here today: try to recover Lily's horse panels and see if we can't get them out of the way though so we could keep clearing. Every time I get a panel up, that's $150. Good save. He can unbury it more. If not, I'm gonna break out the old shovel. What, you couldn't get me the regular shovel?
Well, I thought this one's better.
All right, let's see. First of all, if I need it, he's dug it off as much as he can with the machine. Oh, two more! You went and got me a real one. Yeah, thank you. Look at all this material, just feet of rocks. I want to take some of these rocks upstream to build back the bank. Hard to know what to do here. There's no textbook on that. We saved 4, 5, 6, 7. Hey, what do you want to do now? I don't know. I'm gonna go heat up the lunch for everybody. Today's episode of Burn It Up Cooking Show, we've got my favorite leftover taco. It was Taco Tuesday yesterday. I remembered, put a little liver bark in there. It's kind of one of those hodgepodge, throw whatever you got in there. We do have a Homegrown tomato sauce. We'll add some more broth. Need to add a little more salt. Use up the rest of our boughten salsa. We tap our homegrown salsa. Just let it warm up. What you got? Let me see those. They went shoe shopping. Is that— he hasn't seen yet. Ah, when these kids dress up, it's cowboy boots. We got the funeral on Friday. Let me see your boots. These your boots? Boy, you're getting so big. Henry, look! These are for you.
These were real cheap on sale, so I got him a pair.
So I saw on Life360 you were at Dick's.
Yes, I wasn't at Dick's. I was at that HomeGoods store that was next door.
I think it might be a clue to my birthday present.
I wasn't at Dick's!
Cross your heart and hope to die.
I'm not doing nothing.
Oh, come on, cowboy. Get it up, cowboy. These are our dress shoes.
I thought about you. I missed you while I was gone.
Oh, how is it, everybody? Good. Killer. Jonah's done. Lily's coming tomorrow, my birthday. What'd you get me?
I'm not telling you.
What'd you get me, Josiah? Annie's getting me something special. You offered to come do my chores. Heck yes, I can sleep in.
Will you sleep in?
I'll just lay there. Maybe I can read a book. I was gonna say, you can read. I'm at that age now. Old man. Gonna be 46, and I just wake up naturally at about 6 o'clock. I don't even need an alarm no more. Close us out, Austin. You've always wanted to say— Is this my moment? This is your moment. This is my moment. Hold on, hold on. You've been waiting for this? Yes.
Okay.
Wait, hold on. Okay, well then let's get you not backlit. Let's get you right there. Okay, yeah, let's get out of here. Get a real good shot. Happy day.
