Skip medicated chicken feed from Tractor Supply if your birds live on deep bedding, get moved regularly, eat scraps, and have fresh air and sun. Chickens raised this way don't need it, and you probably don't want to eat eggs and meat from medicated birds anyway.
You don't need medicated feed. That stuff at Tractor Supply, it's no use on the regenerative homestead. You don't need it if you've got your chickens on deep bedding or moving regularly. You're throwing them scraps, they got fresh air, they got the sunlight. You don't need the medicated feed. And two, do you really want to be eating that in your food? Because what you eat eats is what you eat, and it's what you are.
If I had to start my Homestead all over again, it could only pick one animal…
