All right, you guys ready? Yeah, yeah, push off! Hey, look who's up! Look who's up and about to go to work. Hey, good morning! I see you're off for the day. Good morning and goodbye. Good morning and goodbye. It's been good. Kind, kind people. It's always sad saying goodbye. About to hit the road. Getting ready to pull out, going to Delaware, the first state. Gonna find something to do. What'd we decide to do there, honey? Bellevue State Park. Bellevue State Park, here we come. Truck stop. It's handy to have some of these gloves so I don't get diesel on me. I filled up the back tank, now I'm gonna fill up the front tank. While that's filling up, let's wash the windows. Let's go get the receipt. The receipt. Time to go. We are at Bellevue State Park in Delaware. We just had to do something in Delaware, so we're gonna make our lunch and see what this park has to offer. Fixed our lunch. It's time to find a picnic place. It's a pretty nice park. We found a nice place on a park bench. The boys in a train. You guys picnic in a train? That's cool. I don't blame you. Let's walk around and see what Delaware has to offer. Here, bye, Pa. Thank you. How's that look? Nice? Oh my gosh, look at those hams. You hams. Look, look here. Smile for the camera. It's hard to catch those mud run boys. Let's see if this house is open. You gotta see this. So here's Lily, and she's posing. She's posing. She's got her pose. And then now Gideon's got the house. Oh my gosh, cute little ham biscuit. That is kombucha, everyone. Really, really, really? You can have some. I just figured out a little bit of the story. These are old horse barns. We're on the old backyard of what one of the local guys called Willie DuPont, which he was a banker, businessman, but more famously known for breeding thoroughbred horses on this 5,000-acre horse ranch here. But it's now a state park. There's the old barn. This is cool. This would have been a way that people would have gotten through here, but horses couldn't. What a great place to stop and eat lunch. Had a good break from the road. Now we're gonna go back at it. And before we leave Delaware, we're gonna put the Delaware sticker on the map. There we go. Looks good. We have arrived to New Jersey. We've got our stuff set up. We've got our flag up, the New Jersey flag, American flag. We are at the campground. There's a beautiful lake here. Looks like you can ride them for free. Uh-uh, they're locked up, I think. Really? You probably You probably gotta get a key. You probably gotta rent them. Can we rent one? It turns out you can rent the paddle boats. Let's go take the kids out. You guys want to go out? Yeah. Are you sure? Yeah. I don't know. Mr. Brown, do you want to go out? Yeah. Mom and Gideon and Jonah in one boat and me and Josiah and Lily in the next. All right, you guys ready? Yeah. Let's go. Push off. Come on. Everybody in? Yeah. Okay, let's throw this out overboard. Okay, I think— oh, okay. You ready, Josiah? You got the steering wheel, Lily. Yeah, Lily, you get to choose where we go. I know. All right, let's spin around. I think— make sure it works. All right, here we go. Let's do it. Whoa, whoa, check it out, an island! Had a good time on the paddle boats, checking out another playground. Are you scared? Are you scared? I got you. All right, now. Yep, now walk, walk. That's pretty good. We had a good travel day. Good time playing on the lake. Let's add New Jersey to the map.
