Four Corners USA - Where 4 States calide in just 6 minutes and 13 seconds.

The video is a family travel vlog documenting a road‑trip through the American Southwest. The host (Speaker A) thanks viewers for support on a previous "struggle" video, then sets off in a bus to Mesa Verde National Park, describing a challenging mountain drive, GPS mishaps, and the need to book tickets six weeks in advance. At Mesa Verde they encounter rainy weather, discuss ticketing policies, and plan a visit to the Cliff Palace. The group then heads to the Four Corners monument, where they time how long it takes to stand in all four states (New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado) – 6 minutes 13 seconds – and comment on the experience and a $5 entry fee. Throughout the vlog, family dynamics are highlighted: kids sleeping, editing footage on the bus, and the host’s enthusiasm for planting and sustainability. The latter half promotes a "Just Plant" merchandise line, announcing a t‑shirt design contest (with a $200 prize), upcoming mugs, and a revival of previous Great American Farm Tour apparel. The video ends with brief banter about the weather in New Mexico and Arizona.

How long is it going to take us to do 4 states right here in a second? We gotta wait in line, so that's gonna slow us down. Okay, let's time it. Okay, here we go. Top of the morning to you. Before we leave, I gotta say a special thank you. We put out the struggle video. Have any of you guys enjoyed that and related to that? And you have given us a lot of encouragement, and we thank you and appreciate and love you for that. Over 500 comments, Heartfelt comments. We're reading them all. It's absolutely wonderful. Thank you. What are you doing? This is what we got to do, Lily. We got to get the bus out. We're going to Mesa Verde today, our favorite national park. It's where the Native Americans built their dwellings inside the cliffs. It's gonna be absolutely amazing. Big drive though, 200 miles. Here's the scary roads. We're geared down, we're going 18 miles an hour in first gear. We're here, guys!
Putt-putt playground.
RV resort and office straight ahead and the right. We're here! That was a mountain climb. What did you guys think about the mountain climb? Yeah, y'all don't know no difference. They don't have to worry about anything. We do all the worrying. We only had one mistake. We missed the exit because of the GPS. We gotta learn our lesson and just go off of our iPhones. Keep them plugged in or something so they don't die and just go with that. Gonna clean up the bus before we go to Mesa Verde. We found out though, you gotta get tickets like 6 weeks in advance. We found out on the way over here to go to the main things. That's what it looks like. So hopefully we can see something. Peter, you think we'll be able to see something?
Oh yes.
Okay, so we're gonna—
I do.
We're not gonna be able to see the main— what's it called?
I don't know. I don't know.
Something Palace. Cliff Palace.
Well, we're just gonna hope.
Okay, we're gonna hope because there's no way we could have planned 6 weeks ahead. We're gonna finish cleaning up and then warm up our lunch and then go. Yes, that's thunder. We got lunch wrapped up, got the bus cleaned up. Now here we're at Mesa Verde Visitor Center, but it's a rainy mess. Isn't that cool?
Yeah, it is. You got like on it?
I don't know, we're gonna see. You may have to have tickets to go to that. We can't tell if it's like tickets for a guide or tickets to just go there, period. No dogs. They keep y'all cigarettes out of here, guys. No smoking in here. Just saw— just saw no smoking in here.
I haven't been here in a really long time, and I don't know if they did tickets when I came as a kid.
They may—
there were different times when they didn't do tickets.
Oh, so now I'm like all thrown off. I didn't even like think to like look.
Are they going to be here tomorrow?
No. Well, what time?
Well, just anytime because pretty much all the tours are sold for today.
Okay.
Tomorrow's you'd have to ask over there.
Okay.
But definitely this would be the time to get those for tomorrow. Okay. And they may have some.
Let's go look. Awesome, thank you. We're supposed to do this today.
We have another loaded day tomorrow already, but better do this tomorrow than not at all. Tomorrow, that's for sure. I'm pretty much wide open.
What would you like to do? Well, I don't know.
This one. What's that one?
All right, so that has the, uh, 32-foot ladder, the 12 by 18 tunnel, and the 60-foot cliff face. What's the name of the—
it is fun.
Is there any age restrictions on any of them? Acrophobia is fear of heights. And what What times do you have available?
They start at 9 o'clock every half hour. 9 o'clock? Yes, 9 o'clock. Well, no luck today. We've got something for tomorrow. Yes. So we're gonna switch things up a little bit. We're gonna go to— we're going to the Arches National Park in Utah tomorrow, but we're also gonna go to a place called Four Corners. That's where four states collide. Yes, Nevada, Utah.
It's Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Okay, we were gonna do that tomorrow and the Arches, so we're gonna go do that, the Four Corners, right now. Yes, and then tomorrow morning we'll do the arches— no, the Mesa Verde, and then go to— and then go to the Arches. It's gonna be wild. I'm just happy that we were able to get in tomorrow.
Yes, because online it's a 6-week Yeah, the last available or the next available date was September 23rd.
So they must keep some tickets for slackers like us or people who don't think, haven't thought about that.
Well, when we came and I came with my family in 1998 and—
20 years ago.
We did, they didn't have tickets. So I didn't even think about tickets. Like, now we've been to other national parks where we had to have tickets and I've always made plans in advance for it, but I just didn't even think to to look at this. But so now I'm gonna have to start planning every single one. All right, off to the Four Corners.
Look who fell asleep.
Lily Gideon.
That's gonna be trouble, isn't it?
I know, but we need to go to bed tonight because we have an early morning tomorrow. It's all right, it'll work out.
We are here at Four Corners. Guys, how long does it normally take to go to 4 states? Anybody listening to me?
Um, it takes at least 4 days. Unless you're in the Northeast, and then you could do it 4 states in one one day.
How long is it going to take us to do 4 states right here in a second? We gotta wait in line, so that's gonna slow us down. Okay, let's time it. Okay, here we go. Go!
Oh wow.
I'm standing.
Here we go, 4 states at once, guys. That took 6 minutes and 13 seconds. We are in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado.
4 states in 6 seconds.
Are you now having a fun time?
No, he's just woke up.
Mom, was Four Corners everything you thought it would be?
Sorry. We've been to Four Corners before and it's a little nicer than I remember it, but it's still pretty— I didn't know that they charged money.
Is this sort of tourist trappy? Yeah. $5 per person?
If I would have known that they charged money, I would not have come. It's not worth that. It's not worth it, but I'm glad we did it and—
Hey kids, what just happened, kids?
We went to Four Corners at an 8:30. 11 seconds.
Close enough. What is Four Corners? It's where two states meet. Two states.
Very ample park.
Bit of an anticlimactic day.
It's beautiful. Look at this beautiful— I don't know.
I love it. Horses.
It's so different. It's so different than North Carolina that it's just absolutely breathtaking, I think. You know what they say.
No, I don't. You don't know what they say? They say the journey is the destination. That's true today.
That's true.
We're back at the bus. Got the kids in the bed, half of them at least. Real quick, she's doing the first edit. I'm about to sit down and do the second edit. If you haven't noticed, I put up a special video. I think it would be 1 or 2 before this one, somewhere along in there. We're coming out with a new design to represent present the tour and what we've learned along the way. What separates us from others is that we just plant, okay? The people that we visiting— that we are visiting, no matter how small or big, they're just planting. Even if you're just planting in a tomato pot like us in a bus, it's important to just plant. Already made— ate some microgreens off of that. Hopefully we're gonna have some basil to put in pizza sauce or something like that. But to represent and celebrate that, and halfway through our journey, we're coming up with a new t-shirt with a Just Plant design, a basil plant-ish type of thing in a pot, the words Just Plant. We're putting it out to you guys for a design contest. Whoever wins gets $200. I think you don't have much time once this time this comes out, 1 or 2 days, so hurry up. If you didn't already see that video, I'll link it down below. I'll also link where you can go and enter the contest and enter your design. So hurry up and do that. And then once we have a bunch of designs in, Beauty and I will pick 3 of our favorite and we'll put it out to you guys to choose what is your favorite. And then we'll do a pre-sale of that. Hopefully we'll turn it into a stainless steel mug too. And then we'll bring out back— some of you have been wanting our Great American Farm Tour t-shirts. We're gonna bring those back plus a black shirt version. So we'll have the white shirt version and then the black shirt version and then the new t-shirt, the Just Plant. So 3 different t-shirt designs and then 2 different mug designs, the Great American Farm Tour mug, stainless steel, and the great— and then the Just Plant mug. So looking forward to that. Hope that made sense. For more info on this contest and the new t-shirt design, I'll leave the link right there and down in the description. You're standing in New Mexico?
New Mexico.
You're not in Arizona?
Jonah and I are in Arizona.
How is it over there in New Mexico, guys? It's hot.
