Gideon's 11th Birthday Special

The video documents Gideon's 11th birthday celebration on a family farm. It opens with Gideon and family members mixing chicken feed (apple cores, meat, eggshells, fat) and adding hay to keep the coop clean. The group then works the garden, hauling soil with wheelbarrows, harvesting onions, basil, and preparing garden beds. A bridge-building project follows, where the kids stack rocks and mix concrete (sand, clay, water) to create a creek crossing for trucks. Later, the family prepares a birthday meal—chicken parmesan, Alfredo sauce, broccoli, and mozzarella—while playing a card game. Throughout, family members give heartfelt birthday wishes, present gifts (including a pair of shoes and a book titled "Mr. Brown, Where Are Your Shoes?"), and share personal reflections on Gideon's character and potential. Gideon is encouraged to edit and share a kid-made video, with a call for viewers to comment for it to appear later. The video blends everyday farm chores, creative play, cooking, and emotional family moments into a cohesive birthday tribute.
Chapters
It's your birthday! Happy birthday, Mr. Brown! He's got his shoes, y'all. Call the Inquirer.
This into here?
Half? Yeah, half and half, I guess. I think there's a lot of pig fat in there too. It's not all just liquid. And then pour that in the other one. Granny just texted. And she says give you a hug and a kiss. So there's your hug. Here, there's a kiss.
I'm mixing the feed so we then we can feed it to the chickens for protein.
What are you mixing?
Um, apple core, meat, eggshells, and fat.
All right.
And then suck feed and bones.
Okay, do they like it?
Uh, yeah.
How do you know?
Because every time I feed them after, it's always gone the next day.
I think we mixed it good.
Now I'm giving the chickens hay.
Why do they need hay?
So it doesn't get poopy.
Yeah, there was a piece of poop in there, wasn't there? Open up the mom's pin. There, there you go. Good.
But this work, Papa?
That'd be work. Just, just— no, it'd work just as it is. Just zip tie it upside down.
This is enough.
Okay, is that all you need?
Probably.
All right, Beauty, what do we do?
This one.
Okay. Everything? I mean, the basil and everything. We can harvest the onions.
Go into their pen, start getting soil.
He's got to get the chickshaw out of the way to get the wheelbarrow in. That's good. You don't want to be in your way of your exit. Okay, go right before we threw those weeds. Let's see the magic trick of chickens on deep bedding right next to a garden. Just watch. Get a big swath open. All right, there you go.
And then can you haul it?
Probably a good idea to turn it around. He's asking the guy who has not eaten food in 30 days to haul it, but okay. Been powered by meat stock for the last 2 days. It's giving me some renewed energy. More on that in a future video. Whole documentary coming on that. Mr. Brown, you're crushing it. Mr. Brown, you done?
Yeah.
You got a wheelbarrow load? Mom, do we pass the test?
Yeah.
Look at that garden bed, so beautiful. Gideon, how many loads of wheelbarrows you got in there so far? One. Let's put one more. It's funny, it is a little crooked. Yeah, it's real life, right? Hey, we make— we 1% change every day. Yeah, this is a boy's job, level the dirt. Henry got excited. Waylon's getting into— put it in the corners, Waylon. All right, last wheelbarrow load for the day. We're gonna quit a little early for his birthday. What are you gonna do with your free time this morning?
I'm gonna go and play with Ashley.
Hey, you want— if I give you a camera, you want to make a special video?
Sure.
Hey, what? Should we post your video you've been editing for so long when we went to Ruth Ann's and you got— you made that video with your buddies? I guess you want to see Gideon's very very first video he ever edited together with Ruth Ann's kids. You want to see that? Well, you need to spam the comments that you want to see it, and if you spam it enough, Austin will deliver this later in this video. So you better hurry, spam the comments with video, show Skedean's video, something like that.
Tony, what you doing? They're going to Ashley's, Sydney. Ready?
Jump him.
Don't put your fingers on the—
ready, Waylon?
Ready.
Ah!
See him on there?
Waylon, I can't— nobody can see anything.
Whoa! Whoa!
Cheese! Cheese! Whoa, Waylon!
Nothing like a mama's meal. What are you making the boy?
Uh, he requested chicken parmesan.
Family popular, so probably the most popular one.
Cut the chicken and I'm cutting them in half, so these are our breasts. I cut them in half and then I put them in the— this, and then the egg mixture, and then I'll bread them. And then, um, she's starting to fry them up.
We're starting early. We've learned the earlier you work on an intense nail, the better. Don't wait till the last minute. Don't time that. We've been working on this since yesterday. This looks smashing.
Now we're gonna be playing in the creek.
Today's goal is to make a bridge all the way across the creek.
How we make the bridge is we put rocks, stack rocks up, and then we put a rock on top, and then we stack another stack of rocks, and then we put a rock on top, and then we go all the way across. Now we're going to be mixing concrete for the bridge. What do we have here? Sand, clay, sand, sand, clay, both. And why are we putting it in a bucket that has holes in it? Because then we put the water in it and then we mix it up. We also finished the main form of bridge.
Don't mix that until I come back.
I have mud on my face. Or it won't fall through because it's nice and sticky. What is this bridge for? To travel trucks, for trucks to go across. We're gonna have cool music here. I'm gonna put 25.
Okay, match it or raise it. Okay, show your cards.
Double 3.
So all you have, Gideon, is a high card. So she beat you with a pair of 3s. All right, it is supper time. Well, it's time to make it. Go on, go ahead. Oh, you're gonna get the broccoli, I'm gonna get the cream. They are having Alfredo sauce. This is milk from this morning. Hopefully the cream is accumulated. That's broccoli, good job. Did you shut the freezer back?
Yeah.
I'm excited about this. Look, Rebecca, your mozzarella you put away for us, girl. Coming in clutch. Look at this. Holy smokes, I think you guys nailed it.
I know, it looks delicious.
Boy, Gideon, we're glad you were born, buddy. It's a stack of presents. Okay, and, and 2 cards from grandparents. I better know what that is. You enjoy that meal, buddy. How is it, baby? A lot of work.
Do we move the paper towel sofa here? No.
Is it worth the work?
Oh yeah, can I have some salt?
Tell me something good about Gideon.
I think Gideon's a good blessing.
Oh, that's good.
You did a blessing.
Tell me, what did I do with you today?
Play in the mud pit.
That's right.
Gideon is a good brother because he likes to play in the mud and go swimming.
Gideon's nice, fun to be around, and a good younger brother. Gideon is a good little brother. He likes to swim and play with us.
Well, Gideon, you're— it's coming close to when I would give birth to you. You were my first water birth and only. You're the only one that I gave birth in the bathtub with. But I see a lot of potential in you. You are, uh, putting things together and you are wanting to be a good person. And I think that you are trying really hard. I see your potential and I believe in you. And I know that you can do great things with year 11.
Gideon, you and I are going through a special time right now because you are my left arm because I've dislocated my shoulder. It's slow to heal. We're 3 months in. And you are my arms and legs because I'm fasting and you're really a lot of help to because you're my gopher, and you are— I've noticed you're very bright. Yeah, I don't, I don't doubt your wit, so keep that up and use it for your advantage.
You're growing, and I think you have the ability to do anything you want to do. I think maybe you're trying to find your place. I want the best for you. Yeah, but you can do it if you want to do it. Yeah, and I think everybody here will help you.
Hi, Mr. Brown, otherwise known as Gideon. I just want to wish you a very, very happy 11th birthday. I just can't believe it. I was there 11 years ago when you were born at the house your brave mama, as always, home birthing you children. It was just a very difficult time for your family, but they, they rose above the difficulties and just made a wonderful life for all of you guys. And the main thing was that you brought joy and light into their life at that very dark time. And I'm just so proud of you. And also, you are so important that you've got a book named after you. I read it, I loved it, I tell everyone about it, I give it out as gifts. So again, you just have a fabulous day and know how much your granny loves you.
I love you.
Oh, it's blending nicely. Making blizzards, which is just basically mixing, in this case, Harrah cookies with vanilla ice cream. Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, dear Gideon. Happy birthday to you.
Oh, whoa, whoa, you might want to stash that.
Happy birthday, 11 years old. I'm excited to see where God guides you next. Congratulations.
I want to help you open this one.
Love, Grandpa.
Open this one from Granny.
Congratulations.
I think she signed that card.
Uh-oh.
Oh, I thought she trumped Big Daddy. Almost.
25.
25.
Happy birthday, C for you.
Kindness, cool, imagination, and heart. Those are things that can't be taught, which confirms everyone's belief that you were born awesome. Hope you have a fabulous day.
I love you, Gideon.
What's this?
What's this?
He's definitely a son of a '90s father. There we go.
Boots. Oh yeah.
If y'all don't know, he's notorious for losing his shoes, so we got him two pairs.
Whoa, nice.
If you're looking for a gift idea for your own children, you "Mr. Brown, Where Are Your Shoes?" book. You can get this on Amazon. It's by me. It's Gideon's story. Nice. So this is when it's really rainy. And that's for just a normal situation. Okay? They spammed the comments for his video. Gideon, should we show them your video you've been working on?
I guess.
Alright. Roll it.
Now I can destroy the world! What happened? That's where—
that's where we'll find it.
Come on, man. What do you have?
How do you get out of this stuff?
Oh, you never get out of this place. There's no way out. But there is a mountain, and on top of the mountain there's Time Traveler's Teeth. Sometimes you can be found there. That might be your only hope.
Okay, where's the Time Traveler's Teeth? There it is! We've been walking for hours. So hot.
We'd probably be dead by now from the heat if it was really No, no!
I send you billions of miles away.
How?
Just tell me, how did you get here?
We have our ways.
I banish you from this world! You must go! How did you end up in this park? I've never seen you. Get into this bar! Get loose! People in King Arthur's days are weak.
La la la la la, let me be free.
