Happy day, y'all! It's a shed transformation day! But first, a little farm shopping. I've come back because the boys are here. We can't go into the basement, they're working over there. Too wet to do anything outside. Perfect day for cleaning out this shed and get ready for our imminent move back home. Put things in piles. Tools, giveaways, sales, trash. I'll get the truck up here to put trash in. When I say heavy, Dan, I say every morning, oftentimes self-talk tactics. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me. Especially on a cleanup day. But before we do anything, the electrician is here. Well, ready or not, they cut the power. Siding guys need a generator. Think Big Daddy has a generator? You got a generator? Uh, I was gonna buy one. All right, I'd like to phone a friend, please. Hey, Randolph. Hey, do you happen to have a generator we can borrow this morning? Yeah, well, I'll be there shortly. I'll go farm shopping while I'm at it. Pig's feet, bacon, chicken, flossy, which is beef, and ground pork. Thank goodness we did not have to buy this. Boys, I mean, it's a great start. Let's just run power cords from the farmhouse and from this house. Oh, that's a good idea. New mission. Here's 2. 250 feet of cord will power it up. Try number 1. Didn't work. It's pretty secure. Yeah, I don't know if the outside outlet works. It needs reset. It's working now. Working. We got it. Just had to hit the trip. Randolph, hold on. We got them power. We ran it to the— Rebecca had the idea to run to the farmhouse. Siding guys are back at it. Electrician's back at it. Insulation's back at it. And Randolph's around here somewhere filling in the gaps. 4 crews. Welcome to another day in the life of a bunch of foodies growing our own food, building a remodel, cleaning out our shed. Move Salma out of the way. Too wet to clear pasture for our livestock. They're insulating down downstairs in our remodel, so we can't be building our mineral shawls for our livestock. I feel like we're making progress over here. Let's focus right there, and if that's all we get done, then we'll feel like we've done something. Annie, we did it! Let's see how we can get the machines in here. Wow. No, not gonna get them both in. Two machines in the shed. That's our second pile of trash. Smells good in here, Lily. What you got cooking? French fries. I feel like it was a stressful morning. Took my blood sugar. I'm having to opt out of the bun. It was kind of a good stress. Well, it wasn't necessarily— it was more probably the stress of like solving lots of problems. Working this afternoon, the electricity guy says power's back on, but our well is not back on, so I gotta find out what's going on. Electrician did some things. Let's see if that did it. Come together. Warmer in here, isn't it? And all we got is just insulation. We got the best. We got this foam insulation, which is better than the fiberglass. It's gonna save us big time in the end on energy bill. I gotta show you guys this. Boom! Sided the walls. Is this not the craziest homestead build you've ever seen? House on top, stalls, storage on the bottom. This afternoon I was literally having, uh, chest pains and I was like, oh my God, I'm having a heart attack from all the stress. Ended up just being like some weird muscle tear. That went away. Hey, our garlic came through! He's good. Grab his boots and let's go. One thing worth mentioning that I did this afternoon— wrote an email. We are looking for a long-term marketing manager for Abundance Plus.
