Victor Justin Rhodes shows how to make yogurt at home using Alexander Family Farm grass-fed A2-A2 yogurt as a starter. Add 1/3 cup starter per half-gallon, incubate in a dehydrator at 105°F for 6 to 24 hours. Longer fermentation means fewer carbs and tangier flavor.

Homemade yogurt is crazy easy to make. Here's how we do it. We get a starter. We like Alexander Family Farm, 100% grass-fed, A2-A2 organic plain yogurt. We put 1/3 cup per half gallon. So a third cup in there, a third cup in there, a third cup in there. I whisked it together. We labeled it, and I did a half a third cup in there. Labeled it and put a Y and circled it. That way we can recognize it easily. Now I've put it in the dehydrator. Not to dehydrate it, but to keep it at 105 degrees. You can do, you need to do a minimum of 6 hours, max of 24 hours, depending on how much carbs and how much sour you want it to be. The longer you go, the less carbs, the more sour it's going to be. We like this, I'm going to do about 11 hours, and that's about right for me.
