My cow just freshened, and I'm gonna take the colostrum and make colostrum custard. First, heat up the liquid to 130 to 150 degrees, stirring constantly until it creams. Once it creams, set it out at room temp for an hour, then put it in the fridge for 2 to 4 hours. For a quart of colostrum and milk, add in 1/8 of honey and a few pinches of salt. Once the colostrum is in the dish, you can add cinnamon. I added some nutmeg and enjoy.
