Hey, this ain't bulletproof if you leave the door open. Make sure it shuts. If people get out, how do you get them back in? Well, in that case, we'd leave the door open. Chickens herd about like cats. Terrible. Kind of scare them. They are chicken, they're easily scared. Scare them around, kind of keeping them near the fence, and get them back in here. Another trick, worst case scenario, you can't catch a chicken, just start— just don't take your eyes off of it. Walk after it. Jog after it. Do whatever it takes to not lose eye contact with that chicken. You are an endurance animal. They're not. They're sprinters. They'll out-sprint you. So don't play that game. Just slowly go after, and eventually they're going to give out and you'll be able to catch them.

If I had to start my Homestead all over again, it could only pick one animal…
