In this vlog Victor Justin Rhodes documents a day of farm chores on his one‑acre pig operation. He and helpers haul two large water barrels (50‑gal and 85‑gal) up to the pig pens, install automatic feeders and waterers, and move several growing pigs into new pens, using food as a lure. The crew troubleshoots a leaking hose and a vacuum‑seal issue on a water tank, discovers the tank’s pop‑out plug and heater placement, and levels the tank to stop overflow. They also set up heat lamps for piglets, discuss barrel capacity for different pig ages, and clean the equipment. Mid‑video a new farm cat arrives from a neighboring farm; the team acclimates the cat, explains its intended role as a mouser, and shows how they will train it in a cage before release. Finally, they receive a heavy walk‑in freezer, describe its components, and note the logistics of moving it. Throughout, the narrator provides informal, instructional commentary, interacts with helpers (Jonah, Josiah, Lily, Rebecca, Beck, Marlin), and shares observations about pig behavior and farm management.

I hope we're not missing something here to create the vacuum seal. Why we have a leak right here? Okay, uh, pinch the hose off, Jonah. Put some of those logs underneath it, Jonah. Maybe it has to be flat. It has to be flat. Good morning! Y'all are getting a friend today. Lily has set up a acclimation, I don't know, training area for the new cat— orientation, I should say. We're getting another farm cat from Hunter, that farm that was going out of business where we got our pigs, where we got the guard dog. Lily caught us in a weak moment. They're allowed 20 pounds a day. They only ate half of that yesterday, so that's good. Look, now's your time to pet them, Josiah. There's one hidden in it right there. There's actually a lot under there. This arrangement has been good. The heat lamps, the babies get away, lay under there, mom can get a break. It's been working out nice. We need to get Beefcake over here so he's not alone or hot in the greenhouse. Do you think we could walk him over? Do you think we need a trailer? I think we can walk him. Josiah and I think because he's hungry, he'll probably follow us anywhere. Josiah's gonna pig board, I'm gonna lead with the food. Come on, big big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big. That wasn't too bad. Well, he walked. I guess. The gate on the other side is wide open. He walked right through. And out. There he goes. All right. That was drama free. These 50 gallon drums are great for two, three, four Growing pigs, not so much. This 85-gallon waterer is more like it. The 50-gallon waterer, especially since we're having to haul it up there right now— buckets are only going to last us so long with 10 growing pigs too. This, this automatic feeder is way more convenient. Let's get these things cleaned. Got the feed and water in Sally. Getting the water in Willie. We need one more barrel. This thing will hold 85 gallons. This is taking forever. How much more we got? Where is it? Okay, we want to get there right here. Finally. This is so cool. I like it. What do you think, Beck? It's really nice up here. The water and the feeder, really nice ones. This is posture. Is it ready for the pigs? Yes. Good job. They need a little coaxing. There they go. That was easy. That's their first pig move. So they're not in the groove yet. Big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big. Pig, pig, pig. There they go. Bring that pan, Jonah. They move nicely. Look, they're happy. They're so happy. Happ. See how this works. Is it working? There it goes. Yep, they'll figure it out. They gotta turn that. I'd say they're hungry. What do you guys think? Rebecca went and got our hose filled up with water. If you fill a hose full of water to siphon, then you'll have to suck on one end. I hope we're not missing something here to create the vacuum seal. No, I don't, because there's no hole there. There's no threads. Oh, you're thinking like a stopper, a plug or something. Yeah, I'm afraid this water is gonna come right over the edge. It looks like it's leveled out. And it might be messed up because it can't really sit on a level spot either. Why we have a leak right here? Okay, uh, pinch the hose off, Jonah. Put some of those logs underneath it, Jonah. Maybe it has to be flat. It has to be flat. We got that stopped by leveling it. I guess it does have to be level. It still could be— did we lift it too much? Good news is this is leveled out. —doesn't need a vacuum seal up here. It's supposed to have a pop-out plug. Uh, right here? I think so. Hold on a second. Well, it hasn't been overflowing. You put a tank heater in through that. That's what that is? So it doesn't need to be a vacuum seal. So you can take this tank off of this red thing. Oh, okay. And that's where the heater goes if you put the heater in the bottom. Okay. Is that how you would clean it inside there, babe? Yes. Well, we need to learn how to do that. We're over halfway, I'd say. We've gone to our second barrel. Look, our freezer we got from Hunter is here. We got a walk-in freezer. This is pretty heavy. Um, the heaviest component is gonna be the top piece right here. The rest of it can mostly be lifted by hand with one person. What is it, guys? You waiting on that cat? Yeah. Oh, did you bring the cat? Oh yeah, we got a cat in the back seat. Okay, you two got it. There he is, a golden one. Yeah, nice. I don't think it's a handled cat, it's gonna be a mouser, but I'm not sure this one's for cuddling. You knew that, right? If you want to cuddle, you got a Royal or a Manta. After about 2 days of getting used to him, he let us pet him. Oh, he does? He's skeptical around new folks, so okay, I'm gonna need a minute to adjust. Ultimately, we're going to put him in this cage to train him to home. So will you catch him for us? Yes. Maybe he's somewhat used to you. Yeah. And, uh, transfer him over. Okay, ready? Hey, Marlin. Now, Manzo, you're getting a new buddy. You got a new place to be, okay? Nice and calm. Good kid. Good kid. Doing good. Doing good job, Marlin. She's nice. We got to keep him in there a few days just to teach him where home is, okay? And then we'll let him out. Oh, look, he's already getting comfortable.
