Avocado oil, little broth, cover, 275 for like 5 hours. That's what you call called lamb leg chops.
They're trying to get the pig's food.
Oh wow, I didn't think they'd dare go in there, but there's like a dozen chickens in there. Chickens, you have all-you-can-eat 24/7 buffet. Why are you bothering the pigs? Punks. Okay, it's not my fault if one of you get eaten. I don't mind the chickens in there.
Becky, look, they're in with Beefcake.
What's wrong with Beefcake? He tired? He was awfully active yesterday, mating, getting excited. I kind of like the chickens because they're going to scratch the mulch around and help get the poop covered. Look, man, you've been wearing her out and yourself, it looks like. You okay? He's just tired. He's just worn himself out. Yeah, her back's wet, man. Y'all been busy. Boys just split a bunch of wood. Although, boys, look, is this split all the way through? You gotta, you gotta let the machine do the work, okay? Make sure it goes all the way through. Good job. Look at this pile. Today's project, everybody get ready to jump up and down for glee. Cleaning up the garage. Yay! We got crud accumulating on the shelf. We got bins going in to organize the crud. We got crap all over the mineral shelf that needs to be situated. We got Energizers about, and maybe that's not where they should go. We've got floors to sweep up. Actually, it's not too bad in here. We got some— I don't know what all that is. Cobwebs and dust galore. You ready for this, Beck?
Yep.
Fred and his team have been hard at work. I realize this looks I mean, that looks like a flat field to the camera, I think.
It's very—
but it's not. But look at that, it's just one side. He's gonna do that side too, but that is freed up pasture now for us. Looks good, doesn't it? We got some good looking boulders in there too. This is cheaper than buying acreage, having them big machines. Yeah. Clear some forest. We kept some of the trees, silvo pasture. The animals love it, we love it. Something right about it. Boys, go show them how steep it is right there. See, I'm kind of holding the camera— it depends on how I hold the camera. See, it is too steep right here, but down there it's not so bad. Yeah, that's not so bad. That's a good shot. I mean, look how steep that is, but right here it's not so bad. All right, 40 minutes, 45 minutes till we gotta cook, but that's better than nothing. Let's get on this dreaded project. You guys ready? Yeah. Oh, all right, let's do it. We are not done, but we made a dent. We got some things in bins. Brushes, uh, water supply lines. Uh, this looks like the water hose stuff and the automatic waterers, string trimmer supply. And beautiful one's idea, cut some pallets in half and use them to keep these inventory bags off the, off the ground. These minerals, you don't want them getting wet. That clears up her shelf for her natural medical stuff for the animals, that type of thing. We still got a long way to go, but we did something. That's the key, just 1% change every day. As far as this is concerned, we did way more than 1%. I'm happy. Tomorrow's another day. Oh, he's hardcore now. He's got the chain workout. Well, this is good. We've got 3, 4, 5 and a half bags. That's a good day. Look at this! Nice! And look at this! I know, I love this winter stock of lettuce there. All right, first things first, let's make sure this is hot enough because if we have to speed it up last minute, we'll do so. Oh wow, it's super tender and it's at like 205. 6. So yeah, plenty. That lamb is going to be redonkulous. That's our— hey Rebecca, that's our first lamb that we have. Well, they were conceived here, grew here, and harvested here. Love it. How long was that? 3 years. We were in the long game. That was 3 years in the making. On today's episode of Burn It Up Cooking Show, Greek Leg loin chops with homemade salad. Mind you, this is December 9th and it's, uh, 20— no, it's 30— it was 30 degrees out this morning. You grade, I'll cut. While they're cooking, we're gonna go and check on Beefcake. He's just laying down.
He seems okay. He's probably just tired.
Look at this, what a presentation! We're actually having a friend over today. That is not—
who?
What do you mean shred? Oh yeah, all right. Lamb's not very popular. Do you know in America the average consumption of lamb is 0.6 pounds a year. Come here, just show how easy this is. Look at this, I'm just going to start shredding it. It'll get mixed with the juice, fat, and broth— or not broth, but the— well, yeah, it is chicken broth. All right, we'll see if he likes it. This is going to be a good introduction because look at how delicious that is. James? Yeah? Welcome to the holler. Oh. I feel welcomed for sure. Well, good. Have you ever had lamb before? Yes. Okay, how much? Uh, like on the rare occasion. Okay, good. Like, uh, for Passover. Okay, good. Yeah. Well, looky here, buddy. Look what we got for you. Oh, you came on a good date. I did. All right, so what you do, you can do these pitas. You can break them in half, use them as a pocket. Okay. Or whatever you want to do. And we got salad to go on top of. We got Greek— Rebecca, you made a Greek dressing, homemade Greek dressing. What's this, Rebecca? What would you call that? Tzatziki sauce. And it's our onions, it's our lettuce, it's our yogurt, and the tzatziki sauce, and it's our lamb. What do you think of it, Jonah? It's delicious. How is it, James? Oh, it's amazing. Yeah, man, I'm wanting to double this to eat it. One in each hand. I love it. That's the best review yet. I love it. Just the, uh, the hands say it all right there. Let's go check on Beefcake one more time as we close out this vlog. Let's walk and talk. You know, we've launched our community section in Abundance Plus and people are just going nuts over it. Just absolute rave reviews. So towards the end of these launches, which we're going towards the end, you'll want to sign up Sunday because we're going to launch worldwide masterminds. Like group you guys together so you guys can get on Zoom calls or whatever on a somewhat regular basis and just mastermind what's working for you and what doesn't. But once we get towards the end of these launches, there's always, there's always, should I say, I'll say misunderstanding in this case. I got this somewhat Ugly email. Why do you ask for my credit card info at first when it's free for 7 days? Shouldn't you do that after the 7 days? My friend did this and said you charged her for a full month before canceling. You're just as bad as the rest, so no thanks. As I read to that guy— read that to you guys, you guys might be thinking, well, no, that's ugly. Well, the reason I say somewhat ugly— yeah, I mean, it's kind of ugly to say I'm as bad as the rest. I mean, I don't know who these "rests" of the people are, but yeah, that could be ugly. But I say somewhat because I just think it's a misunderstanding. He's moved. He's changed positions. He's asleep. Man, he's just really worn out, I think. I think he's fine. I think he's worn out. I mean, we'll see. Here's where the misunderstanding comes from. Yeah. We asked, "Yeah, we get the credit card information up front." That's because there's just— that's— you're just there, you're filling out your information, you're getting in, you're getting your username and password. Yeah, we get the credit card up front. But that doesn't mean you actually get charged. You actually get charged if you go past the 7-day free trial. So that is a misunderstanding. We've got almost 14,000 people in there. We're fine. I'm just— this is out of my heart for significance. We've been successful. Our needs are provided for. Thank you guys. Thank you guys so much. Thank you, all you current members. Thank you so much. Now we're moving into significance, and to have massive significance, massive change in this world, we want more people homesteading. We believe that's the solution to the problem, you know. As Lucas Nelson sings, turn off the news and build a garden. Turn off the news and build a garden. It's our mantra, except I might say turn off the news and tend a chicken. Okay, as for this friend who got charged for the month, actually that, that's how it works. Like, the system's working. If you go past the 7-day free trial, you get charged for the month. So if anything, it's a confirmation that it's working. But I get it. And actually, I told this lady, hey, have your friend email me and we'll give her credit. Like, I'm not about that. If anybody's disgruntled or wants to cancel for any reason— and I'm telling you guys, I shouldn't say this— like, if you go past the 7 days because you forgot or your spouse got cancer or you just needed 8 days to consume all the content you could because you're on a budget and you want— and you got charged and you want to cancel, I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it. I mean, we have a scholarship area, uh, for folks who cannot afford this. Like, I'm— that's not what we're about here, okay? We're about making significant change in the world. He's good. He's changed positions. You want to? We could. Let's drench him with apple cider vinegar and water. It won't hurt. If anything, it'll make him jump up and confirm that he's okay. And if not, he'll just get a good dose of, uh, health boost there. So where was I? So it confirmed that it's working, but look, we'll give you— we'll give you your money back. You get in there You change your mind. It's past the 7 days. We ain't about that. Okay, we're not gonna make a significant impact on this world if we crush individuals. That's not my style. That's not good business. And if it ever happens, it would only be an accident. It would be only because we're human. It would only be because we're growing exponentially. And now my assistant is saying I need an assistant. So bear with us. I mean, Abundance Plus was absolutely incredible. It's like 3 times, 3x our member area. So there may be some growing pains. Maybe that lady emailed us, uh, wanting, wanting to cancel and we, we didn't get to it. Usually it takes 24, probably max 48 hours, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. So, um, that's our heart. If you want to cancel and somehow you can't figure it out, there's a button, you can go to your account and go cancel inside the member area. Email us. Here's the email: support@abundanceplus.com. And I'll leave it down in the description. Dan, will you please— Dan, my editor, right now, take a note and write this email address so people will see it in the show notes. support@abundanceplus.com. And you can only really just take my word for it Uh, it's our heart. Take it or leave it, believe it or not. That's all we can say about it. I would hope and pray that you would give me the benefit of the doubt. I mean, let's get some apple cider vinegar. All right, half of it in apple cider vinegar. You could take it up with your credit card and say, hey, I'm trying to— I've tried to cancel this. Do what you call it, charge— I can't believe I'm telling you this stuff— do a chargeback. But I mean, you could go there. We'd rather you not. We, we incur a $20 fee if you do that. But, uh, hey, I'm just saying, you're not trapped. We're not going to try to trap anybody. I'm just totally being transparent with everyone here. I'm even sharing with you how it works. I encourage you, get in there. You got till Sunday to get in on these masterminds and chance to be consulted. We'll be doing— I'll be doing farm consults and we'll be sharing that. So, um, get in there. Okay, so now you got him working on the farm. The, uh, mobile on-demand hot water heater. That's right, for washing our hands at butchering.
And so that I can wash— so I can wash, um, wash—
I will take that bucket. Thank you, Becky.
Tosh buckets and stuff this winter since we're not butchering.
Yes, after my experience Camp Leo, back here. Reactive arthritis after handling raw poultry. So we'll take it. So you can sign up for the free trial right now, getting on the masterminds, getting on the consults. So like 100% money-back guarantee, uh, free trial right now on wellnessplus.com. I'm talking to the camera. That's okay, you filled in the gap there, James. I've met enough of yous that I know. I'm talking to somebody. This isn't just a camera. I'm thinking of you guys, all, all the wonderful people that I've met. I'm thinking of you. Where do you—
where should we put it?
Right here? That is so cool.
So we have to have a propane. Okay, the propane is right here.
Cool. And then, um, you could do it right here for now because this is where we use all our water for now. Yeah, we're not up at the butchering shed. Let's go in and drink some. Leave the camera, right? This, this— yeah, definitely wrestling a 550-pound pig, 600 pounds. Nope, he's getting right up. Yeah, he's just fine. He ain't about to let me do that. Uh, so I got out of there before he bit me. Oh yeah, Rebecca, actually we should put a quart jar— yeah, of apple cider vinegar in there.
We'll do that.
No, a sick pig would have not allowed that. He was very quick. He was very quick.
You've, you've drenched a pig before. That was sick, and she let you. Yeah.
Oh look, he's even getting him a snack. Yeah, okay, that makes my heart That's good.
So he probably did eat. Yeah, he's just tired.
