I'm giving it all away!

In a live stream broadcast from Dan Ullman's Grass‑Fed Homestead, the hosts announce a giveaway worth over $5,000. They will award ten prize packages, each containing a Just Plant organic t‑shirt, a stainless‑steel mug, the Permaculture Chickens Premium Edition DVD (≈$200 value), the 10‑Hour Homestead course, and a one‑year membership to the Do It Yourself Abundance site. Viewers enter by signing up for the free email list (link in the description) and providing a physical mailing address. Existing members may also enter and are encouraged to “pay it forward” by gifting the prize if they win. Entries are accepted worldwide; the draw will be a random selection from a spreadsheet, conducted roughly 48 hours after the announcement, with winners announced by Thursday at 10 PM Eastern. The hosts field live questions about eligibility, international participation, and email‑list duplication. Throughout the stream they reference the recent Great American Farm Tour merchandise sale, thank the audience (≈500 viewers), and share a brief backstory about Dan Ullman— a former Atlanta police detective who left law enforcement to pursue homesteading in Idaho, citing the state’s low building codes and freedom as attractive. The tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and community‑focused, aiming to give back to viewers who could not afford the products.

Here we are, live from Dan Ullman's Grass-Fed Homestead. Quick announcement: I'm giving over $5,000 worth of stuff. Listen up, this is what's gonna happen. We just— many of you know, we just finished our merchandise sale. Our Great American Farm Tour stuff, our Just Plant, uh, organic t-shirts and mugs. We brought in the Great American Farm Tour in black The sale went really good, guys. The live people are coming in now. Welcome everybody, welcome! Hey, I'll repeat it for you people flowing in. Gonna give over $5,000 worth of stuff. We had a wonderful sale. I just want to give back to the community. I was in a hard place once, we were in a hard place once, and we got a few emails saying, you know, I just can't afford it yet, could you extend the sale or whatever. That's difficult, we got to get things in, so So here's what I'm gonna do. Here's the best idea I thought of. I'm gonna give away 10 packages, and not just the Just Plant organic t-shirt, not just the Just Plant stainless steel mug. I'm gonna give you Permaculture Chickens Premium Edition. That's worth over $200, just that in and of itself. The mug and the t-shirt worth almost $100. And then I'm gonna give away one— you guys hear me talking about the membership a lot. I'm gonna give a full membership for 1 year. We're gonna give that away. You're gonna do it? Is that crazy? Okay, and then the, the, the course I did, the 10R Homestead, gonna give it all away. And I'm not gonna just give 1, I'm gonna give 10 away. 10. It's worth— each of those are worth over $500, over $5,000 of goods here. Guys, we love you. We're happy about the sale. We're gonna give back. We're going to give 10 of those packages away. So if you couldn't afford it, this is for you guys. So thank you for all the customers who got it, but this is for those who couldn't afford it. Go ahead, or I guess if you're feeling lucky. All right, get in there. All you got to do—
what, there's a question?
Sure.
What happens if you're already a member? And I would say they could give it as a gift.
Yeah, yeah. If you're already a member and you want to enter this, go ahead, and then give it away. Pass it forward. I have no problem with that. So good, good solution to that.
But you're in charge of passing it forward.
Yeah, so all you gotta do is sign up for our email list. It's free. The link is down below. You will in this have to give your, of course, your email address, your— and you'll be joining my email list—
and your address.
Yeah, you'll have to give your address. I ain't gonna send you any mail, but that address is so that we don't have to call and figure out where everybody is. So all we got to do is a random number selection and we'll go down the spreadsheet and do a random number selection and pick out the 10 winners. And bam, Heather will mail you the— make the stuff happen. Yeah, she'll email you about the digital goods and she'll mail you the Permaculture Chickens DVD, the t-shirts, and the mugs. So you'll join our email list, you'll get good stuff out of that.
Go ahead. Someone said, what if you're already signed up? Are you talking about the email list? I'm not sure if— are you talking about the email list? If you're Um, you'll— it'll just— it won't— you won't get like double emails. It'll like— if you're signed up for the email list, you can still sign up to win.
That's right. So if you are already on my email list— good question, you guys are asking good questions. Yeah, if you're already on my email list, you can still enter. And just because you enter and you're already on my email list, my email software is smart enough— should be smart enough— not to send you two emails when I send out emails. So when you join my email list, guys, I don't know if you guys know this, But if you join my email list, when I send out updates— I've been sending out updates when special vlogs go out. So not everybody gets the YouTube subscription notification, and sometimes you want a funny email from me, a funny, lighthearted email. Like just the other day, I sent out an email about this really cool project where they're growing basil underwater. Hey, Amy Landers, welcome to the house! Welcome to the Idaho Grass-Fed Homestead.
Somebody wanted to know if they can enter from Australia.
Tell you. Heck yes, all over the world. Enter, enter down below. Links in the description. All you gotta do is give me your email address, address, and a physical address so we know where to ship it, and that's it, right?
So people are wanting to know how to do it, and there's going to be a link down below.
Yeah, there's a link down below. Should be there. Tell me if it's not there. Somebody tell me if it's not there. Also, it's over. We got to do this quick because we got to get our t-shirts and mugs ordered.
Yes.
So you got Basically a little over 48 hours. So I'm going to close this Thursday at— oh, it might be exactly 48 hours. Thursday at 10 PM Eastern. So yeah, that's about right. So wow, it's already late where you guys are. I'm a little off because it's only 6:45 here. My time at home is 9:45, and we haven't even— haven't had dinner. Thank you, Amy. Amy giving us a nice shout out. Yes, my old high school buddy. I know, organizing the high school reunion. I can't even go, Amy.
We're so far that we can't go to the 20th reunion. We would totally be there. We would totally come.
Yeah, you don't have to represent for us, Amy. You do one, call us in another 20 years.
After 40 years, because that'll be—
I know. What's up with that, Amy? Why didn't they organize one earlier?
I'll be 58 in 20 years. Please do it, please do it before 20 years. You guys got to see this.
Gotta speed these up as they get older. Oh, you guys want to see this pig? You get a bonus, you get a shot here. This is, uh, Dan's free-range pigs. This pig goes wherever it wants. This is Clara. It goes— it's Clara. It's Clara, I think its name is.
Okay, but look, it's just like—
yeah, pig bonus. She— this pig goes wherever the heck she wants. I found her in the chickens the other day, which is around the bus. And I said, Dan, how does she get into the chickens? Well, she's got a way. She goes and nudges the non-electric part of the electric net, which is this black strand. She nudges it under and goes under there. She's in there with the pigs or the sheep sometimes, and she's in there with the pigs. So, uh, I'm gonna wrap this up. You guys get in there, sign up for the emails, win this thing, win this thing. I think Wholesome Roots, what you missed is that we're giving away 10 packages of all my stuff I've offered. You get an organic t-shirt, you get a stainless steel mug, you get Permaculture Chickens Premium Edition, premium, like $200-ish value, and then you get the 10-Hour Homestead, which is a course on homesteading if you only have 10 hours a week growing 75% of your own food. And what's the other thing? There's one more. Oh, one year of our Do It Yourself Abundance member area. I've been jamming out 1 to 3 videos there. Some people have mentioned, you know, I can't afford— that's for you guys, okay? I know not everybody can do that. I've been there. If you already have some of this stuff, Rebecca had a beautiful idea: enter, and if you win, give it to somebody else, okay? We'll figure out how to do that, okay? Paying it forward, somebody's saying. That's awesome. You got anything?
When are we gonna pick the winners?
Uh, 48 hours, so Thursday at 10 PM Eastern.
Okay. Yeah, yeah.
Well, I don't know if we're gonna go live and announce the winners, or we'll just make a video and share the winners, or the box. We haven't thought all that through yet, but we'll be at—
we'll be at Elliott Homestead on Thursday, so we'll see you maybe live.
Thanks for joining us, guys. 500 people on here. We love you guys. We wish we could hang out more. I bet Dan's waiting on us.
Yeah, I know. We have to go. We have to go. I'm— I think I'm partly making dinner. Yeah, I made pizza today, y'all. It was so much fun and it was so delicious.
Yeah, I should make one more announcement. Yeah, today we wrapped up a very special film shoot. It was our— we've been working on it for 2 days straight. Dan, The Grass-Fed Homestead, has an amazing story. I don't know if you guys know, but he was once a police detective. Yep, in Atlanta. A champion police like changed legislature— legislature— a champion guy.
Yeah, he was great.
Like, uh, so we told his story. It's absolutely amazing how he gave up the badge in Atlanta, his sense of purpose, to help heal his son and heal his family health-wise, which meant growing their own food, which meant moving to Idaho, which happens to be one of the most homestead-friendly states in the union. Probably the most, would you say, as far as freedom?
Yeah, Idaho is great.
Low building codes, inexpensive, uh, slack homeschool rules, slack, uh, building codes.
You shouldn't say slack. No, no, just minimal freedom.
Like freedom. It's the freest state in the union, right?
Yep.
Okay, so here we go.
We gotta go.
We're gonna go inside. We will see you guys later. Another contest. We'll see you.
You guys have Thursday. We'll see you Thursday.
I'll see you in my inbox, hopefully.
