In this Father's Day vlog, Rebekah steps in as the primary host while husband Justin lies in bed with a suspected stomach bug. She introduces the family—children Jonah, Josiah, Gideon, Lily, and baby Henry—and explains the symptoms that have sidelined Justin: fever, fatigue, frequent bathroom trips, and foot pain. The family prepares a hearty breakfast of bacon, eggs, onions, peppers, cheese, and fried potatoes, while Rebekah mentions drinking apple cider vinegar and giving the kids grape juice as a preventive measure. The children each share heartfelt messages about their dad, describing his routines (early wake‑ups, chores, reading at night) and expressing love and gratitude. Rebekah thanks Justin for his fatherhood, recalling they began dating as teenagers, and notes the household chores the kids have taken over. Throughout the vlog, there is a mix of practical updates (laundry, cleaning), health checks (monitoring Justin’s fever, giving medicine), and emotional reflections on missing the dad on Father's Day. The video ends with hopes for Justin’s recovery and a promise to reunite the next day.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there watching. I am taking over the vlog with the kids. There's Jonah. He's the mastermind behind getting this set up for you guys. Justin actually got sick yesterday. He, um, he— hold on, let me get the baby. His feet started hurting more, and then he got really tired, and then he started needing to use the restroom quite a bit. And then just got really chilled. So he got in the bed and it took a little while, but he worked up a fever. And so we think he must have the stomach bug or something. We're not 100% sure. It feels like a really heavy stomach bug. I don't know. But anyways, hopefully none of us get it. Um, we're taking precautions. Henry and I didn't sleep in the room with him last night. Um, are you seeing Are you saying hello? Justin is just gonna stay in bed all day today. Jonah and Josiah have been helping me so much. Um, Lily and Gideon have been helping. Even Mr. Henry has been helping. He's been this sweet boy, easy to care for. Jonah, this morning, we— um, he's cooking a breakfast. He came up with an idea. Come and tell everybody what your idea is for breakfast.
Bacon, onions, and peppers with mixed in eggs.
Yeah, so he came to me, he said, what, this would— this taste good? Would if we cooked up some bacon and then put onions and peppers in it and then put the eggs and all of that and kind of mix it all together? I was like, yes, that sounds delicious, let's do it. So that's what we're doing. It's supposed to rain all day today, so maybe we're just gonna stay inside. I don't know, I feel horrible. It's Father's Day. And he's sick. We were gonna get together with my family. Obviously we're not gonna do that. We'll just show you some of our day today with what the rest of us are doing. We are done with breakfast. We've got our eggs, bacon, onions, peppers, and we put cheese on top of it. And then Jonah remembered we had some baked potatoes in the fridge, so we cut those up and fried them up in some butter. So we are ready to go, very excited about this. Oh, I did want to say this, I'm drinking some ACV and I'm gonna give the kids grape juice in hopes that we can stave off this virus. Just in case it is a virus and it isn't like a flare-up from what the test showed that he had a couple weeks ago. I don't know. It feels weird being here without Papa, doesn't it? I know, we miss him. So why don't we say something nice about Papa and then he'll see this in the vlog tomorrow.
Okay?
So everybody think about it. We don't have to We don't have to say it right now. Everybody think about it and then we'll put it on this video and then he'll see it tomorrow. Okay?
Okay.
Do you guys like that idea? Mm-hmm. Okay. I'm gonna show you our meal. This is the potatoes and eggs bacon extravaganza. Alright, Gideon, you're up.
He sometimes helps me find my shoes and he sometimes does my chores. And he, uh, like loves me and he cares about me.
Yeah.
Papa is really nice to us and what he wants us to be when we grow up: healthy, wealthy, and wise.
Is that why he gets you up, puts you to bed early, and gets you up early?
I like Papa. Because he's nice to me. He wakes me up in the morning to do chores. He— move it off my lap, Mom!
Nope!
On rest days, he lets us sleep in, and he loves me. That's good.
Are you shy?
No, I just don't know what to say.
You did good.
Every morning, Papa gets us up at 5:30. And he lets us— he gets us up so we can lay in our beds because we like to lay in our beds. And then we get up at 6:00 out of bed, and then we make our snack, which he lets us do. And then we go outside and do the chores. And he helps us if we have problems and can't lift anything. And he loves us a lot.
Justin, I just want to say thank you for being such a good father to our children. Who knew when we started dating at 16 and 17 that you would be such a good father? And it means a lot to me how much you love our children and care about them. And you read to them at night. You are really a servant leader when it comes to fatherhood, and I really appreciate that and how you serve our family and our children. And we love you, and we're sad that you are not with us right now and that you're sick in bed sleeping, but I hope that you are recovering well and getting better. We miss you. We definitely can feel that you're not here with us and that makes us sad. We love you. Kitchen is mainly cleaned up. I'm gonna do laundry today. And I'm gonna check in with Justin real quick. Hey, bud. Yeah.
I feel like a sick dog.
I'm sorry.
Whatever that means. Is it normal to be going to the bathroom this much?
Yes, it is.
Alright.
Back, go on.
I'm about to go again.
Okay, we'll get some medicine on your stomach in just a minute.
Thank you.
But we want to say Happy Father's Day.
Thank you.
We love you. We're sad to be without you on this day.
I miss you guys.
But you get better. I know. I'm keeping Henry out of here just in case. So he's, he's sad because he misses Henry, but it's a rainy day today, so that's okay. You just read—
kids did all the chores. That's amazing.
They did.
Didn't even ask.
No fever. Fever's gone, thank goodness. And I'll get on trying to help you stop going to the bathroom, get something in them that helps. We've done all the things, we're doing all the things, and we'll see you guys tomorrow. Hopefully Justin will be back to normal.
