Victor Justin Rhodes replaces a knocked-over 50-gallon waterer for his boar Beefcake with a gravity-fed nipple system. He drills through a wall, clamps a nipple to a hose fed from an elevated barrel, and gets steady water flow that only needs refilling every few days instead of constant spillage.

Beefcake, our giant boar pig, keeps knocking over his water, spilling up his bedding. Why do you keep doing that? We got rid of his 50-gallon waterer. He's too big for that. I'm a big kid now. Instead, we got a nipple water going through the board here. You want to try it? Go ahead, try that. Pass the test. Just saw he's drinking it. Let me show you the magic on the other side of this wall. You drill the hole through the wall. We got our hose clamps on either side to be our washer, so to speak, so you can't push it in. This runs to a hose. The nipple water is hooked directly into the hose and it goes into a 50-gallon barrel of water that hoisted up. This will be the lowest it is, and it's still higher than the nipple, therefore giving us a gravity flow that's not too high pressure. Hooking it up directly to the water line, it was too high pressure. This seems to work perfect. All we have to do is just fill this up every couple of days and it stays clean. Works great.
