No more (daily) Vlogs

Victor Justin Rhodes and Rebecca Rhodes are pausing daily vlogs after their Great American Farm Tour to work on a documentary during a two-week workcation and holiday break. They'll post three videos: Full Circle Farm updates, Green Dreams with Pete Kanaris, and a birthday video for Jonah. Regular vlogging resumes January 2.

Raw cut here, one shot. We got one shot to do this, Becky. It's like it's live. Big announcement for you guys, 3 things. One, we want to thank you so much for watching and hanging out with us at the Great American Farm Tour. All those who hosted us, all those who watched and cheered us on and went on this journey with us, all those who encouraged us when things went bad with the bus and whatnot. We want to thank you so much for following, especially those who've been here a long time, followed us from homesteading. Yeah, to this, it's very different.
It's very different.
And I want to say a future thank you for those who stick with us as we go back to the homestead.
Yes.
You want to add any of that to the thank you portion of this video?
No, I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.
Ah, like my granny. And we love it when we see those comments. You guys Remember that story of my granny? Her two simple prayers. One was, thank you, thank you, thank you. And the other one was, Lord, help us, I pray. I think that's all you need. And I'd love to see in the comments somebody will every once in a while will say, thank you, thank you, thank you. So you're paying attention. The legend of my granny lives on.
Yes.
Part 2, the title of this video. We're taking a break from daily vlogs for two reasons. We don't mean to upset you. I guess we shouldn't be You know, yeah, I hope nobody's too upset. If you are, please just catch up on the Great American Farm Tour vlogs. If you've seen all the Great American Farm Tours, which we'll leave a playlist right there and down there, uh, for the Great American Farm Tour vlogs. So come on, get caught up. There's a lot of content there. If you've seen that, go back to the 100 Days of Growing Food, or even before that. I think we have like 700, over 700 videos. There's lots of videos, so there's plenty to watch during the break. Uh, that just means we're breaking from daily vlogs. We do plan on doing an update video on Full Circle Farm. We plan on doing an update video on Green Dreams, Pete Kanaris in Florida. And we want to do— Ken Chapel said you guys need a break, but please upload a video on Jonah's birthday. And we had already talked about that, and we're going to do that. I mean, we do the birthday videos. We know some of you guys, especially with families, really enjoy those. But we enjoy those. Yeah, and they're kind of like our home videos for us forever that we get to look back on. So those are 3 videos we can guarantee there. Maybe we'll do some updates, I'm not going to promise anything. So we're going to take a couple of weeks to begin working on the documentary. I've already been storyboarding. That's going to be a lot of it. We're going to, we're going to interview ourselves. We're hopefully going to heal this cough.
Yes.
So It'll be 2 weeks workcation. You'll be hanging out with friends. I'll get to do a lot on the documentary. You'll get to do some. And then, uh, the next part will be a, um, we're gonna take a complete break. Like, yeah, we're gonna knock as much as we can on the documentary for 2 weeks, and then we're gonna take a break and hopefully do nothing. Yeah, through Christmas holiday and on. So what you can expect from us in the future. The third part of this video is we'll come back vlogging January 2nd.
Yes.
Or no, January— yes, it'll be published to you January 2nd, but we're gonna head home January 1st. It's gonna take us 2 days. Is that right? Yeah, it takes 2 days to get home. So we're gonna travel on January 1st and 2nd. Yes, we'll be home the 2nd. The first video you'll see is the 2nd because we do next day uploading. Mm-hmm. So you'll— we're just— we're definitely gonna take you along with us on our journey home.
Yes.
So speaking of home, we're terribly homesick. We're not going home yet to rest because we know we won't rest. Yes.
We know ourselves well enough to know that if we go home, we're gonna rest for a day or two and then get started right away.
Because we're gonna have to clean— well, you know, we're gonna have to unpack the bus, clean out the bus. All this, all this crazy stuff. Get ready for farm animals, get ready for gardening. And we want to come back into that fully charged and fully ready to go. Same thing with the, the movie making in the vlog. So yes, is that it? Is that all? Is that all? I think we've covered everything.
I think that is it.
So bye, we're gonna miss you. We're gonna miss you in the comments. Uh, Christy will be hanging out with you in the comments, um, if you want to Excuse me.
If you want to, you can follow us on Instagram.
Oh, that's a good idea.
@AbundantPermaculture, @Rebecca.Rhodes.
You'll be posting every day there.
I'm sure I'll be posting a lot. Sometimes I do stories, sometimes he does stories.
And you're Rebecca, Rebecca.Rhodes. We'll leave the links for those in the description. Don't forget, just go check out the playlist, catch up. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. People say, would you do this again? No way. It's not that way. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. It's like we got to go to the moon or something.
Yeah, it's okay, pretty exciting.
We got with SpaceX and we got to travel to the moon and back. You don't do that twice. Well, you might. All right, we're not gonna do it again.
No, we're not gonna do this again, but we had fun and we really enjoyed it.
Alright, alright, let's get you, we'll get you better, we'll get working on this documentary, and we'll get a rest. See you guys later. Bye.
