I've taken zero pain medicine since my procedure of putting back in my dislocated shoulder. It's not just because drugs are bad.
If you don't use drugs, you can just about be anything you want to be.
It's mainly because pain is my friend. Pain is just signaling to me, slow down, don't touch that, don't move that way. And if that were to be numbed, I would overdo it and injure myself. Pain is my friend. It's just my body's way of keeping me safe, and I love it.
I love the pain because the pain is the truth.
