In this segment of the "Farm Tour Goes to Hawaii" vlog, the family‑travel team documents their journey from the airport to their first night on the island. The dialogue captures the scramble to reach the airport on time, the check‑in and boarding process, and a mixed‑feelings flight experience. Upon landing at Diamond International Airport, they receive a traditional Hawaiian lei greeting from hosts Andrew and Alexis, noting the cultural significance of the lei for first‑time visitors. The vlog showcases the arrival at Waikiki, a drive to a beachside parking spot, and the family’s spontaneous night‑time beach walk, highlighting differences between Hawaiian sand and Florida sand, the discovery of coral, and the calming atmosphere of a beach at night. Interspersed throughout are mentions of Farm Tour merchandise (shirts, mugs) arriving, the kids’ reactions (Christy, Jonah, Lily, Rebecca), and brief plans to island‑hop and possibly visit Pearl Harbor later. The tone is informal, conversational, and enthusiastic, reflecting a blend of logistical coordination, cultural appreciation, and family adventure.

She called it.
I think sometimes the beach in the evening, the beach at night, can be really beautiful.
Like, Rebecca, can't you just tell everybody to go? Tell them we got to get to the airport. Yeah, we're supposed to be there 2 hours ahead. Yeah, and we're only going to be there an hour and a half ahead.
We're going to be there an hour and 45 minutes.
Positive. That's positive thinking. Good job, Beauty! You got us here. 8:45, hour and 45 minutes. Think we can make it, Josiah? How in the world are we going to carry all this?
You're going to have to carry this.
Look at you, Christy. You must be an experienced traveler.
Yeah. Have a nice walk.
I'll carry the camera. Okay, I got to carry this one.
I get to—
oh wow!
Look, we're just in time.
There's our shuttle stop. We made it. Doing good. You put on your belt, buddy? Look what came in. The Great America Farm Tour shirts are in. The Just Plant shirts are in. The mugs are in. They all look great. Hope everybody that supported that got them. Looking good in your new shirt, buddy.
What's up?
Christy's having a good time. The song is— come on now, it works better with a camera. 9:17, hour and 15 minutes to go. You look a little nervous.
I don't like this. I like, I like to be on time.
9:30, we've checked in. They've already started boarding. How'd they start boarding? We got 1 hour. We got through security. 9:45, 45 minutes till takeoff. Come on, leave your shirt on, buddy. Well, we made it back. Best gun, help with your ears. Taking off now.
It's -53 degrees outside.
It's all downhill now.
There's Hawaii. We're going— don't move. We're going back into the sea.
Come on, that was pathetic.
Now I have to get over the nausea.
Ladies and gentlemen, we'd like to welcome you to the Diamond International Airport.
How do you rate that flying experience, honey?
Oh, it was awful.
We had an okay flight. We kept the kids busy.
No, we didn't. It was horrible.
They, uh, besides the screaming, we got them on toys, we got them on iPads, we took walks with them, they took a nap. Oh, I would say the highlight was that time when we just about lost our bellies. It was like a floating sensation. It felt like it was for like 10 seconds. How'd you like that dip?
Going around the corner and then the roller coaster, it's fabulous.
Okay, cool thing about our Hawaii stop is we actually have a host. Are they gonna be right here?
No.
Oh, okay. So we have a host on this island. It's not the only island we're gonna go to. We're gonna island hop to another island after just a few days.
Hey, Lily, where are we? Where are we? We're at, um, Hawaii.
You're still wearing your sweater, Mom.
I know, I need it in the airport, but yeah, I can take it off now. Here, it feels good to be in humidity again. Yeah, reminds me of home a little bit.
Yeah, it feels good to be in the hot too.
I see some of our bags way down there. And maybe these are our hosts. Oh, you're going to give us a traditional greeting here, huh?
Hi.
Yeah, hi. Thanks.
Sorry, sorry. Hi.
Oh, these are real flowers.
Yes. Yeah, they're still a little wet.
Thanks.
Try to keep them fresh.
Okay, that's Andrew. Hi. And this is— how are you? And this is Alexis. The luggage is here, every bit of it. Did they give us real ones on our honeymoon?
Yes, they did.
We got these ones.
Man, I wonder if they only gave them to the women. Would that be something, or does everybody get one?
Usually on your first time to Hawaii you get a lei. Doesn't matter who you are, but sometimes they have ones that are a little bit more masculine, like that are just out of like, I think it's tea leaves.
Honolulu, here we are. Waikiki, here we go. Well, Waikiki will have to be in a second. It is dark now. We did do some errands, had to adult and get some groceries. But look at this view! That is so nice. So are we gonna go to Waikiki still in the dark?
I don't know. What do you guys think? Should we see Waikiki in the dark?
It's an hour drive to camp. It's, uh, 6:42 Hawaiian time. This is picturesque out this window, Rebecca.
Let's just go. Let's go and see I think sometimes the beach in the evening, the beach at night, can be really beautiful. Like, yes, like I used to go to the beach at night when I was a teenager. That's true. And it was— that's some of my favorite memories actually. I have better memories of going to the beach at night than I do of during the day. That's true.
You grew up at the beach.
I did. And it just, it's just something about it. I don't know, there's just like this peace.
So if we come back see Pearl Harbor, and we have time, we'll go see it in the day too.
Yeah, I don't know, if we do that, we're gonna have to get our butts up early and like—
No!
Get it up!
We need to know to be ready at dawn.
We found the luckiest parking spot we found on the tour, right on the beach. Parking beach.
This is so cool.
So cool.
What is going on? What have you guys found? You've never climbed a tree like that before.
No.
Holy smokes, look at this tree. Check out this tree. What? What? You're the party boy. Got your shoes off. Get that energy out, buddy. Get that energy out. What have you found here, Jonah?
A good one.
A good root. Alright, come on.
Let's go to the beach. What's it like?
I don't know, it's just different. It's like bigger or something.
Not like Florida sand? No, it's different. Christy's running to the beach. Christy, rain! Glad we made it fine. Everybody's having a good time. Everybody's having a blast. Okay, tomorrow— I think that's coral.
Coral!
That's pretty cool.
You found coral?
Coral! It washed up.
Obviously everybody's excited. Anyway, uh, tomorrow I'll close out the vlog here. We got a bit of a drive tonight, 1 hour. Tomorrow we're going to a pastured poultry operation on this island. I think they have 75 pastured poultry pens, something crazy like that. That's tomorrow.
