In this segment of the Rhodes family vacation vlog, Victor and Rebecca Rhodes take viewers on a day‑long adventure in Fort Myers, Florida. They start at a bustling island farmers market, sampling exotic produce like papaya, avocado, strawberries, tomatoes, and a uniquely flavored honey. The family then visits a farm‑to‑table restaurant that doubles as a small grocery, noting its grass‑fed, organic focus and the presence of free‑roaming chickens, ducks, and piglets. After eating, they head to a putt‑putt (mini‑golf) course where Victor, Rebecca, and their children (Gideon, Josiah, Henry) engage in a light‑hearted competition, complete with score updates and playful banter. The vlog hints at future activities such as parasailing, go‑karts, and a return trip to the island. The segment concludes with the family packing up early to return home to Western North Carolina, where they encounter a sudden snowstorm, describing the contrast between the warm Florida vacation and the snowy homestead, and ending with chores around the greenhouse under a windy snowstorm.

To our surprise and delight, there's a farmers market on this island! We are there and it looks like it's jamming! You guys can get any fruit you want. I don't know what to necessarily expect for Florida farmers market. Hopefully some exotics, something different. Look at the size of that avocado! Kids, you want a papaya? All right, let's get one. Let's get a small one then. Yeah, dry papaya for now. We're gonna sample the black mangrove. I asked for the most Florida-centric honey. Very sweet. You like that one? All right, we'll take that one. You know what it tastes like? Got a bit of a licorice taste to it. Yeah.
I'll take one of those and then I think I'm gonna get two more strawberries.
How do you feel about your Florida?
I'm really excited about these strawberries and tomatoes.
Farmers market out of our way. We've heard some good things about this seed-to-table restaurant. Or is it a grocery store?
It's a grocery store but restaurant. I have no idea. We're just gonna check it out.
It's a little chilly.
Chilly today, so it's not really beach weather.
It's supposed to be all like grass-fed, like organic.
We'll see.
We don't eat out much, so when we do, it's that, and we go all out. Was the burgers awesome or what?
Yeah, they were. They're delicious.
Now a little putt-putt. I haven't played putt-putt in 20 years.
Yeah.
Have y'all ever played putt-putt, you kids? Not at Fun Depot.
You have to count. Every time you hit the ball with this thing is a point.
Okay.
You gotta tell me how many points.
Yeah, you don't want points. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. 1.
Uh-oh.
Again.
2.
There it goes, there it goes. Where's it going? Where's it go, Gideon? Watch the champ do it. Oh, right in there. Number 1. Let's see Josiah do it. There you go, Josiah. Go ahead, Gideon. Uh, you gotta put a little more oomph into it. There you go. Oh, good shot, Josiah! Oh, hole number 5. Rebecca and I are tied. I care more than she does, I think, so I better step it up. I think she's getting lucky. Let's see it, Mom. She's in trouble. I think I might catch her on this one. Okay, so 3. I guess I'm gonna call it safe in time. Give me 2 ahead of you, Beck.
If it goes in.
9-hole update. Got quite the course right here. She's ahead of me by 1. Uh-oh, she might be pulling away from me, folks.
Justin behind 3 now.
Mom got it. She got a hole-in-one. We both got a hole-in-one. I had no idea Rebecca was gonna be this tough to beat. We are on hole 13 and she doesn't care is what bothered— really bothered me. He wants to beat me.
Me so bad. He's very competitive. I am not as competitive as he is, unfortunately.
Hole 17. I know we're tied.
Are we sure? Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure I was ahead.
No, we're tied. I mean, you can check it, but we're tied. If she misses this hole, it's over. Oh, it's not over. It's not over.
Okay.
All right, all right. Well, we'll double check the score. All right, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out, watch out! Oh, all right, pressure's on, Justin.
Just do it already.
This is it, it's my last chance to get you.
Are we tied? No, I think we're tied.
I think I got it, but she's gonna have to double-check the points.
You did beat me by one.
You have to give me a kiss. How was it, guys? First time? Yeah.
Okay, the keys, babe. Don't you?
All right, do I? Rebecca's demanding a rematch, and we could do it again for two, just two bucks.
I know! If we would have come earlier, but—
We gotta get home and eat.
I know, and we're far away. Since we're on an island, it takes a long time to get there. We're like at the very back of the island.
Next year. Next step for the vlog, the kids want to go parasailing, if I don't fall out from your erratic driving. That was quite the jerk there.
Sorry. I almost pulled out in front of this guy.
Go-karts, by the way, are legal on the road here.
In this area, this part of the island. They're not on the whole island.
If you want to know what parasailing is— Today's a perfect day to walk up and down this pretty much deserted beach. Can you guys see it? See the chickens in a net? Mobile, uh, egg mobile. Yeah, this is probably gonna be the highlight of my trip. We're in Fort Myers. We're in an organic farm-to-table restaurant. I guess they get out wherever you are. Look, it's a brooder. That's the cool thing about Florida, you could do chickens all year round, couldn't you, Beck? Yup.
Look, another chicken.
I think those are Freedom Rangers, probably. Meat chicken's coming on. We decided not to go in quite yet because it's early, but I do like a restaurant where you have ducks and chickens wandering around and raised beds right outside the place you're gonna eat. It's right in there. Just the pigs.
And this must be— you see the pig, the piglets? Yeah, they There was some that go in here. They were going in and out.
We've had a good vacation. We were wrapping it up, packing. We're heading home a day early because we're getting like 12 to 18 inches of snow, which is a blizzard to Western North Carolina standards. We're back just in time. It is literally snowing.
It's snowing.
A little sore after 2 days of travel. I know. Oh, of course he is.
Come here.
Okay, it's nothing, nothing out of the normal. Hey buddy, we would have been driving in this today. We've got 6 inches of snow right here. I'm glad we came home. Been doing the chores, came home just in time to defend the homestead. Getting the snow off the greenhouse, let's take some pressure off, get some light in here. What do you think, Henry? You like your first snow?
You like it?
Everybody's happy under the pole barn, but this is a crazy windy snow. It's even getting under the barn.
