This is a YouTube video titled "These little piggies tilled the garden" (created 2024-07-23) featuring a single speaker (presenter) describing a homesteading/gardening technique: using pigs to till garden beds and produce compost adjacent to crop gardens. The speaker explains placing pigs near large gardens, providing a mobile covered shed called a "Pigport" on skids, and giving wood chips as a "diaper" to absorb manure and urine so the mixture can be turned into compost right next to the garden.

Chapters

The 3 little pigs are done tilling my garden. Now I've set them to work building compost right next to my crop gardens where we're going to want the compost. We can take the waste of the garden and easily throw it into the pigs. Looking now, do I have anything? For example, fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have a lot of weeds in the garden right now. There you go, a little anticlimactic. They will go at it. They think I had them here with grain. First, we pick a spot near a garden with pigs, preferably a big crop garden. Second, we give them a covered shed on skids, the Pigport, a 10 by 12 foot mobile shed. Third, we give them their diaper. We give them their wood chips that absorbs the manure, urine. They mix that in and eventually that becomes compost and it's right next to the garden where you want it.
